Me and a few mates used to have a webspider type thing that searched Jap Auctions for words like Work, SSR, 10J, 11J etc. Was awesome, every morning would get reports of sweet wheels available for proper cheaps. The exchange rate isnt really in your favour atm but theres definitely some bargains to be had if youve got the time to troll through

Weak offsets? Youre fitting them to an MR2, how wide are you making the arches? 2 is 8J ET35 and 9J ET35 which is 40mm more front and rear on an SW20, same as this set http://tinyurl.com/jzsk5sh and the 5th lot as well. Add a 20mm spacer and I doubt youll find overs that will fit, never mind The 18's are 18's but are lovely and quite cheap, the GTRs are not going to be the only set of 17's for sale for this money as well. And for me, youd be much better off spending the money on the rims and lows and not the rest of the car:
-
Its probably softer than a Bomag roller as well, or a Centurion tank.

I have some experience in this area ......... Bandies - just no, WHAT ARE YOU EVEN THINKING MAN. There are very, very few cars they will actually do anything for and most of those are ratlook to start with. Second set, better, but still blatantly cheap and the more cheap wheel there is, the cheaper it will look Next up, if youre on a budget why are you widearching the car? It wont just be the arches, it will be fitting, paint, coilovers and probably camber arms and new tyres too. Making a car look pimp doesnt come cheap. Finally, as youre doing the arches I wont check fitment but: http://www.driftworks.com/forum/wheels-tyres-sale/247944-welsch-lm-technik-8-5-10x17-et13-et20-5x112-5x114-3-a.html http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/17-Work-RSV-Japan-alloys-Tyres-8-9-Drift-Nissan-200sx-MR2-Skyline-VOLK-/112166968083?hash=item1a1dac1b13:g:zbIAAOSwPCVYAQx4 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Enkei-RP01-17-5x114-/332046037326?hash=item4d4f7c714e:g:VREAAOSw1DtXH-Ad http://www.driftworks.com/forum/wheels-tyres-sale/249937-ssr-professor-ms1-5x114-3-18-x10-et11-18-x9-et24-fresh-japan.html 18's but Mmmmmmmm http://www.driftworks.com/forum/wheels-tyres-sale/251167-17-x-9-rota-gtr-4x114-et25.html http://www.driftworks.com/forum/wheels-tyres-sale/251889-advan-avs-model-5-17x8-5-9j-et-35-5x114-3-w-tyres.html GET THESE. No, not hard at all IMO, a bit more than 350Z but that was undersprung IMO anyway. Bit noisy but nothing ridiculous .......its not on runflats is it?

@ 1:50 - legend.

Its the same as the "why do MP's get paid so much" argument though - Unicef turned over $5bn in 2015, thats more than Youtube. Any company operating at that level needs staff that can do the job, but unsurprisingly they come at a premium as not everyone knows how to handle a $1bn advertising budget or write policy for 12,000 staff in 150 countries, the fact its a charity has nothing to do with it as without these players the company wouldnt function at all.
-
That one Ill grant you - if he hadnt done that then I dont think Id even recognise him as the champion. Cracking bit of driving and the balls that I think were lacking a bit in the rest of the season
-
Id still PM him, I have a feeling he might have done a BGW at the back as well ...........
-
Id be looking very seriously at this one, looks much better to me and not a lot more money
-
If thats yours in your avatar you dont have the Rays wheels though. Mine was an import and had full GT Spec apart from cruise control, "well specced import" probably covers it best "
-
Apart from when he needed to overtake people. Or in the wet.
-
PM Fake Ben Taylor, he did exactly the same on his Z33 Most people use wood rather than FRP for splitters too
-
If youre particularly after low miles then thats not bad I guess, personally Id take another 50K and a couple of grand less to buy though. Also worth a check if its got Brembos, any idea why mileage is so low after 11 years and 4 owners?
-
But he hasnt won the most GP's this season and when hes needed to pass people he hasnt been able to do it, Lewis has clearly been the better driver so its a tough one. As for the numbers, doesnt make any difference IMO, there are a lot more GP's these days (16 vs 21), the cars are a lot more likely to finish, and dare I say it when theres a lot less overtaking and youre starting at the front you are always going to win more races. You could argue that anyone racing against Schumi or Vettel was knackered from the start for race wins or championships as no-one got anywhere near them in their heydays. What does make a difference is that Nico has had head and shoulders the best car for the last two years but lost by 59 points last season and only made it this season due to Hamilton having some shite luck. Ill accept hes the champ, but not that he deserves to be on the performance from this year.
-
Id get it done myself, if it takes the alternator belt out and you dont notice you will be stopping unexpectedly somewhere and not starting again until someone brings you a battery. And its a bit cold for that atm .........
-
LOL, all 2% of it thats actually still a Civic?

Good Tyres V Bad Diff *field test results post25

Quaife is the easy option for 1 series BMW LSD's (i.e. not the one I too ) and EVERYONE from Quaife themselves downwards recommends running a soft rear ARB to try and prevent wheel lift. Whether it would be a good idea on a 350Z is something I couldnt answer, I wouldnt have wanted to do anything with mine as I found it very well balanced on OE ARBs -

If you lost the rear ARB that would probably resolve that straight away -
2 things: Rev match is just heel and toe at the end of the day, its a lot cheaper to learn than to buy a car A Civic is only better as a base for a track car than a 370 if you are entering the Civic Cup. As a daily, unless you are REALLY into your Civics the 370 is going to be a lot nicer to drive about.
-
Not used a Kaaz on a Z33 but they are generally a lot more agricultural than the Nismo GT Pro, the Nismo also has more adjustability as well as being convertible from 2 way to 1.5 way. A Quaife is even more user friendly but doesnt work in the same way as a plate diff, I prefer the latter but its a matter of taste I guess
-
Actually, a decent 1.5 or 2 way would improve the car for all three as it happens.
-
You'd have a job ......... Err, why? They are very similar cars at the end of the days, as are ............ Unless you mean the Macca, and then youd never drive the Lambos

Only thing Id wonder is if track tyres will get up to temp on a hillclimb ............ Diff will make a difference (lol) but ultimate grip will be down to whats touching the tarmac. Alignment is worth thinking about too, you can create more mechanical grip by running toe. Have you experimented with different pressures too?
