The price is lower than it was TBF, for me it comes down to whether you want a wide one or not
-
OK, everyone is telling me, can someone prove it please? Id genuinely like to see an FRS and a Golf R with a "few mods" in the 11's as I remember it wasnt that long ago that the fastest street legal drag cars were struggling to get sub 12's.
-
It wasnt a wall, it was a hedge The damage wasnt actually that bad at all but the cost of a replacement front bumper and lights was enough to do for it, this is why it became widearch. Moneywise its a tricky one, they are 1 off custom metal arches all round, a lot of plastic arched cars have gone for a lot more than he is asking but theres no denying its a Cat C 03 plate at the end of the day. Ive got no vested interested but can tell you it drives like an absolute dream, after Greg had picked it up and driven it for a bit he called me to find out the "full" spec list, he couldnt believe me when I told him that there wasnt anything else as it drove so sweetly, its an immense car on track too

Mmmm, Im offering pinches of salt if anyone wants some? The Focus would have to be 450+, probably 500 to see sub 12's. The Golf with be better with DSG but will still need a bit, Ive just found an 11.99: 11.99 APR Stg2+ - 60ft@1.682 - Nitto NT01 - 100oct And I dont want to **** on your chips but I cant see a 300hp Pulsar doing a 12.1 either, at least not without drag radials and the launch of a lifetime.

Same as Col, downloaded everything from PB and putting it onto Imgur atm. PB is dead, shame as it used to be the boy.

Meister R - GT1 coilovers review - UPDATED 2018 ver
docwra replied to RobPhoboS's topic in Suspension
Top post, will do the same (without installation pics) when I get mine fitted. Will be interested to see where you finish up leaving the damping -
It does seem that the 06 onward cars have suddenly become a grand or so more valuable, I have no idea why though. I imagine its as someone said above, availability has crossed over with demand and people have woken up to the fact that theres very little else you can get for anywhere near the money.
-
Not only that but any driving you do will be more rewarding, whether thats caning a Saxo down a B road or letting a 911 loose on track. A well driven 350/370Z is more than a match for an R8 or GT3 that doesnt know what its doing, as JJ said earlier they are also a lot more paranoid about putting their car into a wall a lot of the time. The exception to this seems to be McLaren drivers, every one Ive seen on track seems to be trying to break lap records, fair play.
-
First bit - its hardly a seachange over the 350, the design and tech is getting long in the tooth. Second bit - errr yeah, there isnt actually anything left. Fair play if you have preconceptions but counting out every German car bcause of "the lifestyle" doesnt really lend itself to a thread like this
-
Brembo GT but standard suspension? Weird. Looks nice, and I dont think the price is unreasonable. Not sure that orange will be up everyones street though.
-
Have you seen what I write about the 370Z?
-
Like Strudul, why not a 350? Much more fun to drive, more reliable and more sideways too
-
I ordered a set for my Bimmer last night too - £200 off in shop atm!
-
Hes right you know. And all are irrelevant if you dont want to run a track tyre anyway

??? So it's not track but it's too aggressive to be used on the street? Sounds like a bad setup to me if you can't use it anywhere?! Optimised? You mean compromised. A b-road and an Autobahn are VERY different and you cannot possibly expect to be optimised to both unless you have adaptive dampers I think these quotes show that your just trolling. Read the first once again. A track setup is too aggressive to use on the street, or have you never driven an actual race car? I think thats pretty clearly what I said, apologies if your comprehension skills arent up to it. Optimised for more than one situation will always include an element of compromise, thats pretty obvious and anything this side of a drag car is compromised towards something other than performance, again, Id have thought that was obvious. Any street setup will be compromised but it doesnt have to be to the point of being like a Prius. I also see that a "road" setup is allowed in the world of Rocket Rabbit, I guess thats aiming at comfort is it? So why not Fast Road that's more aimed on pace? I think we all understand "Off Road", where does that fit? Everyone understands the concept of God whether he exists or not, Fast Road is a concept that everyone other than you seems to understand.
-
It does, but it means ripping half the dashboard out as well.
-
In the 350Z you can just unplug the ABS module (3 plugs on inside of drivers wing), I bet you can do the same on 370 too.
-
Would you stick with them over mpss Dan? I ran RE050A on the back and MPSS on the front at one stage, the MPSS are marginally better but not to the point of unbalancing a car or anything bad like that
-
I came very close to FI'ing mine, I still miss how composed it was on track, how well it braked and how good it was sideways, it was just the weight and the cabin that did for it in the end. A 400+ hp Zed would be a very capable car indeed.
-
Apart from the fact that they are actually MPSS :scare: Its not just here, every forum everywhere now recommends them, they are pretty awesome. Very tempted to stick some Cups on before track season this year as the only downside to the MPSS are they get a bit melty on a hot trackday, but as road tyres they are the don.
-
Not really though, a 135 has the N54, is RWD, is lighter than a Zed, handles great with a few bolt ons and is a very nice place to be. And we have just come full circle This was what I was getting at way back on page 2, an M3 ticks a hell of a lot of boxes, so does a Golf Gti, or a Focus RS, or an XFR, or .......... I cant say Ive driven an FI Zed but I was getting wheelspin in 5th this morning, thats plenty craziness for me

Time saver? Probably not. Convenience item? For sure. There are times when you cant get your phone out of your pocket - as someone said, teachers or jobs where you cant whip a phone out, or when driving or when in a meeting - even if youre having lunch you can check who is calling without stopping the conversation. Having a torch on your arm all of the time is bloody handy, as is answering the phone when your hands are full, similarly seeing the weather forecast for the next few hours every time you check the time is worthy. The big difference between the Android and the Apple Watch is that the former actually looks like a watch And steps? I got just under 34,000 in San Diego on holiday, was averaging about 18K a day when I was out there. Got back to work and I struggle to get much more than 6K, but at least Im earning rather than spending
-
Ive got a Huawei and really like it, I only bought as I didnt fancy anything this side of £3K .......... I think its like a lot of things, once youve tried it although its by no means life changing youll probably not look back. It wont last 14 years though, the battery will go die before then. Look behind (puts phone camera on stealthily and shows on watch), find my phone, the weather apps (and associated faces) and the various messaging stuff is what I use most, a decent launcher is a must as well. Still dont talk to it in public though

Fast road is not 100% track focused and too aggressive to use on the street, but also not focused at comfort, economy or tyre life either. Simply put, a setup thats optimised to be as fast as possible on roads, from bumpy B Roads to sweeping Autobahns. The fact google returns 589,000 hits for "Fast Road Setup" suggests Im not alone on understanding this. As for the rest of it, you can see it any way you like but there is more than an element of trolling to some of your posts on this thread dude.
