Bang Trident in with it and youre looking at £200Bn. Handy.

Yeah, I was the 200SXOC Chairman, Ive owned 9 or 10 and am fairly familiar with them .......... The link for the car scorp has bought is now gone so I cant comment on it specifically but ............ Errr ......... was it a while ago you had one? The biggest issue these days is rust - every S14 in the UK will either have some rust on the sills or had the sills done, strut tops (front and back) and chassis rails are also favourites, check jacking points too as they are prone to collapse after a bit of red lovin. Arches and other bits go like other cars, weve been seeing some issues with inner wheel arches recently too. Enginewise, VVT rattle seems to be affecting lots of cars, IIRC its about £200-300 to fix. Turbo gaskets go all the time and are cheap but a PITA to sort, turbos are usually good for 100K+ is not ragged to death, they are fairly cheap to replace too but its worth a check for smoking on idle or boost. Standard suspension is @*!# so youll want to change if you havent already and ARB's do wonders for body roll. Gearboxes are solid at standard power and clutches tend to last too. Not difficult to take one to around 400hp but do lows and wheels first, standard Kouki or Zenki with right fitment look spot on: And the SXOC is probably the best source of knowledge on the car globally, there is pretty much nothing that hasnt been done at some point. Enjoy!

Aye, "individual" modifications arent going to help either, Im not sure Id even consider 6K Early imports are bottom of the pile when it comes to prices, the mileage saves it a bit but no-one is going to be buying a 52 plate for £6K when you can get an 06 with 80K for £500 more

Exactly what I predicted would happen as freedom of movement, customs and market access can only happen as a full/associate EU member. So basically we end up paying just as much as we used to, but dont get any say in actually making the laws that affect whatever parts of the EU we are still subscribed to. Great work Brexit voters, great work.

Have you actually followed any of this campaign? Labour promised all sorts of amazing benefits and spending if they got in, hell they were a no brainer vote for anyone thinking of becoming a student, anyone who cares about the NHS or anyone who is REALLY against fox hunting. They offered an opportunity for real change which is pretty valid when there are as many disilluisoned people out there as there are. Corbyn is inspirational, hes stuck to his beliefs throughout his career, hes garnered vast amounts of support that he didnt have before but more than that has overcome the ridicule of much of his own party and neatly all of the press to be about the only person who has come out of this better than he went in. Your comment might have been valid 6 or 12 months ago, but not now, Labour have all the momentum and this is entirely down to their campaign and their leader.

Anyone know anything about classic cars, in particular, Mercedes?

I remember seeing a White, VGC W112 convertible for sale in St Tropez about 10 years ago for IIRC about 8/10K Euro, I seriously considered buying it and driving it back but couldnt get any more time off work, and was a little dubious about getting a 1960's car back from South of France. They appear to go for 6 figures now -
I didnt actually see the exhaust blowing incident but I do find he takes the counterside incessantly and unnecessarily on everything. A counter is great but dragging it out for 200 pages just for the sake of it isnt.

Sadly he sold it, TBH it needed quite a lot of work so might not have been up your street anyway -
I have to say, after every other election Ive been able to vote in being a decision between the centre, the guys 1 degree left and the guys 1 degree right its refreshing to actually see 2 major parties with totally different policies, and 3 minor parties that offer different policies again. Not voting because you dont like the leaders is stupid, they will be gone before long anyway and I find it difficult to accept that an individual cannot find a party that suits them best but I bet we still get a 65% turnout

EV's are a stopgap, possibly not for very long either. https://www.limacharlienews.com/science-tech/fusion-breakthrough/ This is the future, right now.

Deterring them? What, the guys who strapped fake suicide bombs on themselves so they knew they would get shot, or the guys that actually blow themselves up? Im pretty sure 5 fat lads giving them a kicking (if they can catch them) will be more than enough. Mitigating potential damage? How are you going to do that against 3 guys with knives, lasso them all with a magic rope? Use The Force? No, you need highly trained armed operative to do that .......... like the police perhaps. Vigilantes dont work for all of the reasons mentioned, even against relativel;y low level street crime. Suggesting they can take on extremist terrorist who actually want to die for their cause is just ****ing stupid, frankly.

No, but you seem to have the most time on your hand to keep the troll well fed

Do you ever stop? People call music from 2010 "old skool" but that doesnt mean it is, a car thats less than 10 years old is not a classic. Collectable, a future classic, an investment by all means, but classic? -
The point is they would be a trained security force... Or are you saying the police and army are just a gang of violent people who go round beating people up??? The police is already a trained security force, why not join that? If its because you cant be arsed with the training, the rules, the hierarchy then QED.

Yes, yes and yes. For crying out loud people, use some common sense. We have all driven cars with substandard tyres, in some cases we have driven cars with totally bald tyres and some of us ( ) have driven different radiuses, widths, compounds, inflation, hell, Ive driven cars with 4 tyres under 10 PSI before. We are all here to tell the tale, so is it our amazing driving expertise or is it the fact that TYRES WILL NOT MAKE THAT MUCH DIFFERENCE TO YOUR CAR?? I welcome anyone that can explain to me how two different compounds front to back will make a car wobble in a straight line at 50mph using any explanation they want to, its physically impossible. Whats a lot more likely is that bushes, alignment, arms, even the diff isnt working right here. For all you know an apprentice might have tried to take the wheel off using the toe arm, used wobble nuts to put the wheel back on, used a spigot ring thats the wrong size, or ......... Once again we have a member looking to buy new tyres for absolutely no reason, Ill stake my entire dodgy reputation that this is not tyre related, unless one of the tyres has a very serious manufacturing fault.

10 years old is an 07 plate, I dont think anyone would call that a classic TBF. What do you want to know OP, a mate of mine was doing one up but due to the loss of a couple of limbs (seriously ) he had to stop, he may even still have it for sale if youre interested? -

Echoing Ekonas comments, sorry to say it but I think youre making a mistake. Hope you prove me wrong. -
LOL, I actually said somewhere elese yesterday that new GT3's and Ferraris tend to be mobile roadblocks

The fact that both parties have been focused on personality rather than policy, that there are various recognised and not so well recognised media outlets printing blatantly untrue information and discussion over some of the most important issues have been ignored in favour of more hysterical headlines probably suggests it does. TBF we saw exactly the same in Brexit and the US Elections, you dont actually have to have any foundation or basis for your claims, you can say what you want these days. Weirdly enough we got the wrong decision in both of those too.
-
We already have something like this, I believe its called ......... what is it ......... oh yeah, the Police force. Im sorry but anyone who suggests a gang of vigilantes wont end up beating the wrong person or becoming a gang of their own is a bit deluded. Its not an option, its why we have trained security services.

You know there was a suicide bomb attack in Kabul on 03/06? Or another one in the same place on 30/05 that killed at least 90 people? The week before that 56 protesters were killed by the government in Venezuela and I dont think that even got reported on UK TV news. Unfortunately its a fact of life that there will be mad murdering bastards out there. Sure, we should do all we can to prevent them but we shouldnt be looking to blame someone when it happens, realistically its a fact of life so even getting worked up over it is a waste of energy. When youre dealing with a group that doesnt actually have any realistic end game theres no chance of negotiation either - you either turn the entire population against men with beards that read the Koran (unacceptable IMO) or you accept that a few terrorists are going to do what they do.

Houx for us, 28 of us with a Las Vegas theme this year, just aim for the incredibly loud Sinatra and massive smoke cloud and you wont miss us - beer tap on site as well

Yep, until we get the thought police you cant nick someone for something they might do. Watch list is not the be all and end all by any means - you might be on it because you had a drink with an extremist and didnt even know it, getting deported on that basis is a bit strong ........

Search it on here or google Pure Rally, not sure anyone has anything good to say about them. At all. And I think Steve meant sued (legal action) rather than suede (1990s indie band/cow product)
