  1. Both actually. So you are saying that you deliberately move the stoich ratio about because of the VQ's characteristics? If it was an LS or an SR running a charger you'd map it differently then?? I know very little about mapping and only really have experience with CA/SR's but Ive always looked for a nice flat line around the 13 mark, I find this very interesting
  2. I dont know Superchargers or owt, but Id expect them to start around 13 and finish around 13 ........ those start at 14.5 and drop to 12, and they do move about a bit inbetween - from 4200 to 4700 theres a drop of nearly 1.5 Not suggesting its a problem or anything, just different from what Ive seen before and I wondered what might be causing it
  3. Loving the shape of that power graph, but why are the AFR's all over the place like that?
  4. Bought with a nice bonus from work after I had my other 4 cars fail all on the same day. Took that a sign it was time to buy something that cost more than a grand
  5. So when are you going to go back then? Need more Z33's drifting, 200's and Skylines get a bit boring after a while
  6. Good days at Santa Pod, did you get onto the figure of 8's or kidney track??
  7. I assume that would have been aimed at me Please continue though Not aimed at anyone really, but the style is Work Emotion CR Kai, not Rota Torque. I also didnt see why it was necessary to mention Rota Torques again when that was exactly what I had just posted. I think the original post was something along the lines of "Is there an echo in here? ;)", it wasnt meant to offend anyone, promise. Rotas are very good wheels, particuarly for the money as they are strong and light, but the original Kai looks soooo much nicer IMO.
  8. EDIT: Not worth the bother.
  9. Work Emotion CR Kai, and they will suit just about anything IMO A very similar, but much less expensive wheel can be had from Rarerims - the Rota Torque: Oooh, and on an orange one - these are 9.5 ET20
  10. If you are absolutely desperado, do the drifter trick of sorting through tyre piles once garages are closed. They wont mind generally as they will have to pay for disposal anyway
  11. £6500 is more like it for me - Ive pointed this thread out to someone who is looking for a 350 around that mark
  12. That looks really sh*t. +1000000 Affectionately known as "Project Stupid" it was an exercise in seeing just how wide you could make an S13. It did look @*!#, I agree Still reckon they are the same wheels as on the 350Z
  13. Wheels are Work Euroline, and thats the maddest fitment Ive seen on a UK Z. Respec' Not quite as mental as this though ........... If I was a gambling man Id say they are the same wheels as on that Zed
  14. And if you want fitments, try www.rimtuck.com
  15. You dont get one on one instruction as such for your £60, but theres usually some old drifters knocking about who would be happy to jump in and offer a few pointers Its the best plase top learn in the UK, for sure.
  16. Furry muff, but if the M3 is on your shortlist I would strongly advise trying the IS-F - it was much more fun to drive than anything else I took out, regardless of its 4 doors and 4 seats. I know its a bit older now but the E46 CSL is supposed to be an excellent drivers car, I know a few guys who have gone from GT3's to CSL's and been really pleased - might be worth considering.
  17. I test drove an E92 M3, 997 C2S and dare I say it a GTR, and I didnt feel any of them were as rewarding to drive as the Z - all great in their own right, but just missing a bit of excitement. That said, Ive driven and M3 hard since and might be persuaded on that one ......... Have you thought of an IS-F? That was the only car I test drove that felt like an event, it was just a bit more exciting than the above, it gave me a bit of a buzz. Worth a look, they arent costing much these days
  18. Im there with a 30 strong crew from SXOC, trying to beat last year where we had a full PA system, 42 inch TV with satellite and Playstation and 6 fridges and freezers Come over and say Hi, Im sure we can spare a beeer or two (trying to build a very, very big mountain this year as well so might need the help )
  19. You aren't? I thought it was hella stretch and remoulds for yourself? Worn to the wires with smoke pouring from them for me blue
  20. Id go for 19's, definitely prefer them to 18's on my car. Dont like the wheels much personally but you cant argue with the price I suppose, ID still be seeing what Rarerims can do for me though Im saying nothing whatsoever about tyres

    19"/20" Wheels

Most of them actually Try SXOC, Driftworks, Skyline/Supra forums, wheelwhores, keep an eye on ebay - there are some decent wheel shops on US ebay who will ship for not a lot Try these .......... $1380 http://www.vrwheels.com/racing-dynamic-19-p-3615.html $1950 http://www.vrwheels.com/bmz_cache/0/088 ... 50x112.JPG Ive got others but the bookmarks are on my work computer, but theres a good 4/5 shops around that have good s/h rims for sale

    19"/20" Wheels

Cheers for the link mate. There tons of wheels that look amazing on there, the problem is (as with anything US based) is that the wheels in those widths/fitments they show on there either aren't available or cost a small fortune to purchase. I don't mind spending a good amount on wheels, but spending thousands per wheel is just ridiculous. I'm tempted by those ultralite 20" wheels on ebay, but im not too sure how they'd look. Anyone got anything else around? Deeper dish the better I know what you are saying, but youd be suprised how much comes up secondhand in the UK that would fit a Zed nicely, its just a case of patience. Ive bought 4 Work Equips for £800, Gram Light 57 Pros for £1200, Do Luck Double Sixes for £1000, Compmotive MO's for £500, and even a set of SSR Leon Hardiritts (very VIP) for £1100, you just need to be patient. Likewise Ive sold Blitz type 03's and TE37's for about £1000 No disrespect to anyone running Ultralites, but put them next to a BBS and the difference is very noticable. Even the difference between my Equips, which are very nice JDM wheels and the Hardiritts, which are awesome JDW wheels is quite a lot. If you need something next week then go for the Ultras, if you can wait a bit Id suggest it - the difference proper quality rims make is a lot more than you might think.
  24. Very true. I went test driving last year and tried an IS-F, E92 M3, Focus RS, GT-R, 996 Turbo and 997 C2S. The zed, although slower and older than all of them was as much fun to drive as any of them. I didnt buy any of the above, Ive still got a 350Z, thats got to say something.
