  1. Check out torque and power curves for the 997T, variable vane turbos are the tits. Not a great deal on the road thats as fast, I still prefer GTR myself though.
  2. Standard clutch is perfectly good until it dies TBH, youd be better of spending money on suspension.

    Kuhmo KU31

Aye, Ive just done a wet trackday on RE050A's with standing water all over and was very impressed with them, got Kumhos on my MR2 and I rate them as budget tyres too.
  4. The work on Kens car was Gary @ APT in Norwich, but theres a few LS'd 200's knocking about, most are used for drifting though. I know Mr Horsham has considered it himself though ...........
  5. Sikky do a kit which I keep looking at and then trying to forget - a mate of mine has a supercharged LS2 in a 200SX and it makes a GTR feel like a milk float. An N/A LS would really suit the Zed IMO, its very tempting.........

    How low can you go?

Hes got loads of clearance as well ..........
  7. Didnt need a licence, nothing was timed it was just an open day for members to have fun. Was talking to one of the committee about potentially hiring the place out for our club if there was interest but not sure on costs. And im sure the hairpin wouldnt be a good idea for some of the lowered cars We (SXOC) have done 2/3 weekend events there, its very good but fairly pricey and you need to book early. PM me for more info if you like
  8. Only if youve been on there for ages, its £10/15 now IIRC
  9. Moody! I'm feeling some love for your arches too, the 350Z should have left the factory like that Opinion is very split on here, lets put it that way When its not pissing with rain it looks like this:
  10. i must be buying special ones then as i had them on the S2K and the XKR and they been very good in the wet maybe just drinving style It isnt.
  11. Rising Power, its not worth it mate, despite the experiences of thousands of other people theres a few on here that will always tell you mixed tyres will make you fall off the road. Likewise turning off the TC will kill you in seconds (how TVR drivers with 400hp and no TC manage not to crash and burn every time they go out I dont know), and of course the old classic that if you havent driven RWD before, you are probably going to die too. This then develops into posts like this: which is hysteria at the end of the day - even driving on canvas there is no way the VDC is going to fire front and back wheels all the time unless theres a size mismatch, sensor problem or other fault, and anyway did the guy who had it before you drive it with the safety systems going off all the time? Really? We then get: which is not only inacurate, its frankly terrible advice. Ive even had people on here tell me that 4 matched Ditchfinders are safer than mixing MPS's on the front and RE050A's on the back .......... and thats the point when I realised its not worth it. You know, I know and the OP knows that running different tyres front and back isnt going to cause accidents - Ill accept that it might alter the characteristics of the car somewhat, but nowhere near what different pressures, tread depths or heaven forbid DRIVING IN THE RAIN will do, we will keep driving to the conditions and grip available and these guys can keep playing their by now very scratched record. Apologies for singling you out CrumbMC and Id add that I have the utmost respect for Ekona and his opinions, I just dont necessarily agree with them P.S> My own brother thought your car was mine the other day. My own brother
  12. This was the pic that I wanted to be in, I know my car was doing this too: Although Ill accept this:
  13. Not that well TBH, he will be lucky to see 10K Im not going to post links to any other cars but thats A LOT for that car IMO.
  14. Ummm, does sawdust not just blow off in the wind?? Do you shake your fist at the sky when it rains as well? ITs no biggie, particularly if you get on alright IMO, theres a lot of worse things to worry about
  15. Bit of 4x4, cut at an angle to make ramps, jobs a gibbon. I now have these in 3 of my cars
  16. American remoulds mate, they even screetch when stationary
  17. Pretty big The arches are about 75mm extended all round, fronts are Work Equip 18x10J ET-18 (effective -43) and the rears are SSR Leon Hardiritt 19x11.5J ET10 (effective ET-15). The pic of Daz's car (the Maroon S14) was an uber long exposure shot at night, Ive got a few mates who do including Bolf, who did this amazing one a few years ago: there is some post production (the white outline of letters on the ground for example) but not a lot Daz will come and take static, moving, long exposure, whatever you want shots of your car for a very reasonable price BTW. Hopefully less on mine now Ive shamelessly plugged his services on here
  18. Spose I should plug the 'tog as well - Daz is a good mate of mine and takes some incredible shots - seeing as it was absolutely hammering down with rain and windy at that point he has done well Seriously, check out his website, the man has talent: Website - www.darrenthorndick.co.uk Facebook - http://www.facebook.com/pages/Darren-Th ... 5807267547
  19. Supercharger would be cheaper and wouldnt change the balance ............
  20. Was at Blyton Park on Saturday at the SXOC Weekender, dry in the morning and the car was awesome, 2/3 inches of standing water at lunchtime and the car was awesome (although I did get a splash of water on my right shin through the wheelarch ), damp in the afternoon and very fast triple drifting with a BMW and a Boxster, awesome as well. Seriously thinking about more power now, its such a capable track weapon/driftcar, would be amazing with more power.
  21. Yep, had one done once and found a good few things that hadnt been checked or were missed, got to know a bit about cars and wouldnt bother at all now.
  22. It happens loads for more modified or rarer cars, nothing to worry about. Just get him to pay you in cash and he can go merrily on his way As Mr Wheelspin said, even Bankers Drafts can be faxed, cash is pretty much your only 100% option

    Can anyone help?

It needs to be 5x114.3 PCD, other than that youve told us nothing really - how wide are they and whats the offset, what tyres are you looking at? 17's will go on a Zed but 18's/19's are a better fit.
  25. Got the MR2 fixed, going to see if I can find an ark of some sort as it will probably drown on the way to Blyton now Heard it was bad up your way from my Mum Lee, more to come today as well. Id probably just stay in bed for a bit if I was you
