They are all Z33, thats the start of the chassis number .......... Hmm, Ollie, when is this guy going back to China exactly? Dont suppose he indicated if he would be up for going a bit lower on price at all? I dont want a cherished one, I want a cheap one with broken bits ........

What has a TVR going to Europe got to do with a 350Z going to Europe? You can buy 350's in LHD, remember? I can see a lot of reasons why RHD might be wanted overseas, it could be cheaper, for a Brit ex-pat, for racing, as a trackcar, eventually getting exported to someone that drives on the left ......... what I cant see if why anyone would consider selling a car for anything other than cash

Thats not going to hit anything but I dont think its anywhere near ideal either, you could put 10mm on that all the way round without any issues - I reckon if you dont run oversized tyres Id wager that you could go for 15mm, so 8.5 ET7/9.5 ET10 and still fit under the arches. TBH if you are going to buy the wheels anyway then just get them and play with spacers until they sit perfect, its only a few mm here or there

Why not, tts a Nissan, not a Hemi Cuda witha 2 position throttle and no brakes
-
Very good tyres (Michelin Pilot Sport, Bridgestone RE050A) would be my first recommendation, possibly followed by some decent coilovers I have HSD's and think they are excellent I personally wouldnt do much more than better pads and braided lines for the brakes, exhausts and induction kits make the car sound nice which definitely adds to the enjoyment. Pretty much anything you can think of will have been considered and done on here before (theres 18 pages of tyre thread somewhere) so have a cast about see what you can find out

Its not the same as women, you dont sack a bird off because you need to move house, or have run out of parking or need rear seats (not quite sure how that one works) If circumstance made you give up the car (like our first MR2) then I think going back can be a good experience
-
Im not going to get into the whole argument again, but both of those rims are Gram Light 57S's, the second set are chromed though. If hes not supplying tyres thats about £500 too much IMO as well.
-
We got rid of an MR2 a few years ago and bought another one last year, no regrets at all and in fact what Id learnt from the first helped me get a better one next time round. Bought a GTI-6, then bought another one, again knowledge from the first helped me get a better deal on the second, did the same with a couple of Nissan Silvias too and 200SX's as well and never regretted, I think the key is to buy a better one second time round.

Same day, same dyno? Thats incredible if so.
-
No-one notice how hes asking £1800 without giving any width or offset advice? Or wear on the tyres? Or pics of the other three wheels? Nice rims but thats about £300 too much, possibly even more.

So because youve got used to not having expandable memory or replacement batteries that means theres no need for them? Youve been sucked in by the Apple hype man .......... as I said, repackaging old tech rather then developing their own. What are the things I like best about my S3? The screen is big enough that you can use it to navigate the net, or easily edit documents, and the phone takes superb pictures, far better than any other phone Ive seen. I also like the way that I can carry a spare battery just in case I get caught out, and anywhere I go Ill be able to find a charger - thats the "package" for me and the iPhone doesnt do any of it. What exactly is "the package" if it isnt the specs of the phone anyway?
-
APMSL The brand spanking new iPhone 5 has a smaller screen than an S3, no NFC, no HD output, no drag and drop from Windows, a slower processor, shorter battery life, less camera options, you cant upgrade or replace the memory or battery, it wont run Flash or Java and you need to replace every connector you already have. Ive got nothing against iPhones, they are easy to use and all that but it seems that once again Apple are recycling existing technology and charging a lot of money for it.

Just to pick this up, us drifty types run directional tyres the wrong way round and certainly in the dry theres not a huge difference. If any, actually. OP, what youve just said doesnt make a lot of sense TBH - if it only does it when its going one way I might wonder whether youve got an overkeen ABS sensor or something (this is how the car detects slip) but going from it being planted to being like on an ice rink in the dry suggests major underinflation, alignment issues or even suspension damage. Id be tempted to take it back to wherever fitted the tyres and ask them what they think, cars dont just become undrivable overnight BTW, you have checked the tyres are the same size on each side, right?
-
Sandpaper? * those are actually FK452's on the back too
-
The VDC has two types of intervention, straight traction control, which kicks in when it feels slip from the rears, and stability, which kicks in when it feels a difference in teh rotational speed between front and back. The first is entirely rear grip related, the second is more likely to fire due to incorrect rolling radii (unless you are doing some hero spec driving) I run 18s on the front and 19's on the rear, rather than dicking about trying to figure what size tyres to use I just turned it off completely
-
I quite like the front and Im thinking about a new bumper atm as it happens ......... but then I like the rear as well EDIT: Back bumper has been cut too, imagine the standard version is a lot less extreme.
-
So ........... youre saying hes a pretty big feller, right?
-
Ive got the standard gt wheels so i think wheel widths will remain the same which is a shame Thanks for the suggestions what would i need to be flush with the arches any idea? See the line "fit like it should" ......... that would give the equivalent of a 9J ET15 front and a 10J ET15 rear which looks kinda like this:
-
So you are putting on narrower than the Rays wheels then? Not my first choice TBH, they are probably heavier than the Rays as well. Anyhoo, to make a 8J fit like it should you would need 35mm spacers on the front and 50mm on the back ............ to get to standard Rays fitment Id suggest 10mm on the front and 15mm on the back

Hmmmm.. but on the other hand, if you leave it in gear, the engine braking will cause the car to slow down and stop after a bit. Whereas if you leave it out of gear, no engine braking and the car will happily coast for miles (well.. or at least until the gradient changes) Does the engine really use no fuel if you take your foot off the throttle and are on the over run? Or is it still sucking fuel through as the engine is doing say 3000rpm (for example) compared to 800rpm (for example) if its idling and your in neutral. Dude, its a fact, an engine on overrun doesnt use any fuel as the engine braking keeps it turning over, if its on tickover it needs fuel to keep running. Even at 8500rpm as soon as you are off the throttle the injectors stop putting fuel into the cylinder The resistance is neither here nor there, you arent using anything at all on overrun

20mm hubcentrics will come with longer bolts anyway What are the specs then, are they ET38 all round?
-
Anyone care to join me in a MEGAFACEPALM?
-
Like Bennett says, check your AFM is working, it might be worth making sure the lambada sensor is in full effect as well. The best Ive ever seen from mine is about 22 mpg but I drive hard .......... try not exceeding 3K rpm for a bit and see what happens
-
Yeah, Ive got normal belts and harnesses in my drift car - belts for driving to the track, harnesses for when you are on it. You could mount the harnesses on the strut brace I guess, Id stick with anchoring them to the chassis somewhere though as you dont know how strong the strut brace is .......... wouldnt want one clouting you round the back of the head really If you are going to Wrexham then give Driftworks a shout too, they are in Brum and tend to have seats ion stock to try as well

i think these wheels are a risk if i buy them but being different is what its about No, looking good while being different is what its all about. Dont get me wrong, VIP Zeds have been made and look damn good with it: even with similar looking wheels to those you are asking about: but all three of those sets of wheels would have been the best part of £4K brand new. Your fairly poor Audi monoblock copies arent going to pull off the look Im afraid PS: The third set are Weds Kranze Bazreia, buy some of them instead and win at wheels
