  1. Greddy Matt, is yours an import by chance? Only reason I ask is that I found spacers blunted the handling of the car as well, I know the Jap cars have a different geo setup. Someone once tried to tell me that it was down to the centreline of the wheel having been moved, but having driven other cars with up to 50mm spacers and not found any issues Im not so sure. Its a weird one though, as no-one else seems to suffer.
  2. Well, she was Deputy Head in on the top private schools in the country aged 28, shes cant be that stupid Oh, apart from seeing reflections of fireworks in a building window and thining they were inside the building. Or believing my middle name was Mohammed, or that me and my mates used to know about on mini hovercraft, or asking who "Bill Payer" was on a TV phone in .......... natural blonde as it happens
  3. Why arent you driving a Mercedes or a Ford then? Sorry, but thats the single worst reason Ive heard for buying one. "Im used to iPhones", "Ive got loads of iProducts", "Im a massive Apple fanboi" are all valid, but buying it because you liked the the one they released 6 years ago ........ Anyways, Im off to go drink some Hooch, have a quick go on my Atari and tell someone why my Casio watch is better than their Patek Phillippe
  4. !!!!!!!!! WTF!!!!!!!! I know, no-one ever did find out how he managed it.
  5. I use Chrome at home coz its faster but still have to use IE at work as some bank websites dont support Chrome ............ others dont support IE9. Well done Lloyds.
  6. Yep, recent reports Ive heard from Marbs are very good, one of my mates has moved his stag from elsewhere after visiting last year. Sarnies latter comment was what I got told as well
  7. That guy was only practising for this:
  8. Nice coconuts, no comment on Mr Fuggles.
  9. Read my previous posts on this page, IT IS A HUGE DIFFERENCE in terms of Android vs iOS! Is it? You seem to slate Windows (which I dont necessarily disagree with) but dont mention anything about Droid .........? iFans are always banging on about how difficult it is to use droid, but for my money the UI's for mail, calls, messages, internet, Facebook, the way the cameras work and where the settings are are all pretty generic - no-one had to teach me to use an S3, no-one has had to teach me to use the iProducts either Likewise, no viruses and fast boot its awesome, but upgradeable memory, replaceable batteries and Flash and Java are pretty good too. Each to their own, but Id really like to hear how Android is unreliable and difficult to use, Ive not had any problems with 4 phones now
  10. Then you sir, are mental. Sure, its all a case of preference and as someone who regularly uses a 4S, an S3, and iPod Touch and an iPad2 there really isnt a world of difference between them, I do wonder how many iPhone users have treied one of the more recent versions of Android though. What I cant get is how the Apple fanbois wont admit that technically speaking the iPhone5 isnt as advanced as the Galaxy S3 ........ if I already had a 4 why would I want a 5, particuarly as I know 4G is going to be rolled out here?
  11. That is quite awesome actually, nice work Did you not find the never ending stream of supermodel quality girls "a good thing" then? I actually got physically tired of checking out amazing legs, T+A when I was out there last, never thought that was possible - there was two of us on business rather than a staggy but it was an epic couple of nights. I had 4 girls on my arm both nights, it was excellent Im told the islands are even better for quality and them not being able to get enough of the English ..........
  12. I am so going past you in the Pug for that comment.
  13. Kids. Im with you though, its difficult to think of anything in the 5-10K range that comes close - an E46 M3 is defintiely a great car but isnt quite so much fun to drive, other stuff doesnt look/sound as good, as a complete product its a bloody good one.
  14. Id juyst like to say that RisingPower may seem to be taking the micheal but I totally agree with what hes saying. There seems to be some kind of belief on here that powerful cars can suddenly develop minds of their own ansd steer you off into the nearest ditch/tree/bus shelter of nuns and orphans and it simply isnt true. People drive much lighter, more powerful and more vicious cars every day of the week in all manner of conditions, with traction contolr on or off and they are still there to do it again the next day. If you dont feel in control of your 3/4/500hp car in any conditions other than sheet ice you should consider buying something a bit slower, frankly. Maybe the incident Lexx refers to was unavoidable, but if that was the case any other car would have done the same. Im with RT, the car is great fun in the snow but as I cant trust anyone else it stays at home ........ until its late and everyone else is off the road
  15. Just come back from here: where we spent a weekend wearing tweed and doing things that people wearing tweed generally dont - always good if youve got a good core of lads who know each other My own list for staggys is Vegas, just cause its amazing, Tallinn, a day out playing Golf and probably big country house do in the UK somewhere, why only have one?
  16. I know its not for the purists, but I dont ever put a top back on a bottle of 7 year old Havana Club, it tastes like sultanas
  17. 18s on the front, 19's on the back and some dodgy looking ginger about to jump in the passenger seat If you are suffering from a lack of traction, the compound of the tyres, then the width, then the pressure make more difference than the diameter of the tyre, you might want to consider running a little toe in on the rear wheels as well or softening the damping I dont see why you cant use 450hp in winter, you just need to be more gentle than you would be in Summer, plenty of other people manage in M3's, Porsches, TVR's etc.
  18. Exactly, Id steal the exhaust for my other one straight away, Ive got "one or two" spare wheels knocking about too
  19. Its a safety feature, if the car cant meter its air then it goes into "limp home" mode, basically running rich and not letting you exceed 4K rpm, Ive invoked it deliberately when the AFM was playing up a while ago. It wont damage the car, just makes it drive worse than a 1.0 Metro Ill go have a check in a bit Jell, its nothing to worry about even if its hunting when warm though, it means the management is doing what it should do

    FS: JDM Seats

Good seats, I much prefer them to GT's as they hold you better and dont wear so much. If you sell the passenger one, let me know, I might take the drivers one as a spare
  21. Id use New Era myself, they are very good to deal with. Nengun still send wheels here, but you might find you have more luck going to the US - we have a trader on SXOC, Mazworxs that Ive spoken to about bring some in before and they tend to be a bit cheaper than the Jap based supplier
  22. This. If it was about dynamics youd have the lightest 17's you could find that fit over the brakes. Im a bit astonished that anyone has tried to say any different actually Im running 18's on the front and 19's on the back mainly because I cant find any front 19's that are wide enough The cost of the rear tyres also stops me drifting which could be a good or bad thing depending on your viewpoint I should add that the car is perfectly good on 19's, they dont detract from the handling or ride like they do on a 200SX, for instance

Spot on IMO. I wouldnt go changing calipers or dicsc unless you are doing some track work, the standard stuff is more than adequate for anything thats going to happen on the road
  24. Cant hear it but I guess the revs are rising and falling with the needle? I shouldnt worry too much, particularly if its from cold, it will be using a base map rather than actually calculating fuelling and its possible that it could cause that. Ill try with my one a bit later if you like and see what happens If you have idle probs related to the aircon my first stop would be the idle control valve - older Nissans used to have an auxiliary idle control for power hungry applications that sometimes failed giving an erratic idle, sounds like you have the reverse problem. The ole pedal dance or getting it plugged into a diagnostic machine might show if theres any issues there, its a decent start anyway
