Its bargainous, the British GP is about 5 times as much for 16 times less action, and thats just the race Dont know how you managed to pay £250 for camping though, the most expensive pitches are about £100? Music over the last few years has been great as well, Jamiroquai, Stranglers, Razorlight ........ an EWF tribute band isnt going to cut it for me though
-
Bad line into the corner, but thats a hell of an advert for whatever camera that was

That is ridiculous money even for a Martini one, Id still cut off an arm for it though I had a 2WD in Martini colours and a black 16v as well ........... but the Evos are where its at, for sure.

Dont worry lads, normal service will be resumed shortly

Im sorry, I dont often do this but Im shocked by what I have just read ........ Right, so they have mysterious and invisible parts in Japan that we cant get here do they? As far as Im aware there is nothing other than a remap that will see any kind of gains, certainly not any parts that you cant see. The only major dynamic differences between the JDM cars and UK is the fuelling map and a few geometry tweaks, there certainly isnt any invisible box of tricks available to put another 40hp on a car and theres nothing on a JDM that isnt on a UKDM that would do it either The Orange one Im guessing is Busters, which is well thought out with quality parts and beautifully executed. It doesnt have cheap ass parts and a dubious widearch kit and look like its been thrown together by Stevie Wonder, your average man on the street would be hard pushed to recognise them as the same car even if they were parked side by side. What, lower than this? Ive never struggled ........ So what? I went past a 430 on a trackday a while back, it doesnt mean my car is faster though, just means the performance is more accessible (IMO at least). Im sorry, but people read this board for information and by my reckoning youve given totally inaccurate information about import cars, insulted Buster and his car, then given more dodgy info about widearches and rolling roads and finally a poor example of gauging a cars pace on a trackday. Its not a biggie on its own but Ive seen people pick up information like this, start spreading it about and before you know it people are telling you that you are wrong about your own car.

We average no more than 2 per car as well, even with a people carrier getting involved this year, the drive is half the fun. Oh, and the burnouts
-
Stickers this weekend but they are a secret as its massively taking the **** out of one of the boys coming Will try get a pic up before we leave, really looking forward to it now.

EPR are good guys but the stuff they sell isnt genuine, you can only buy copies of stuff from them

What, like the friend of mine who lost the bottom end of his Bimmer, dropped oil and then watched TWENTY SECONDS LATER as FIVE cars ploughed into each other, armco and anything else available .......... Talk about wallet flashing before your eyes edited that for you Cheers, thought it was still supposed to be on the quiet so didnt think the actual information would be the best ........... So youre telling me the Medivac didnt happen then? I obviously got an embellished version.

BING BING BING!! We have a winner!!

Yo Dawg, you know your 350Z isnt a 350Z, right? OP, cheap wheels (invariably from ebay) are a false economy - they will affect the dynamics of the car due to weight, the paint and finish will deteriorate quickly and youll be left with rubbish looking wheels that you cant sell on very quickly. Buying the aforementioned in totally wrong sizes makes a mistake into a disaster. Those BBS are cheap as chips for what they are but if you arent looking to keep the car long and want something, buy something of decent quality secondhand - chances are they will still be worth what you paid for them when you come to sell them on and they will make the car look sooooo much better in the meantime

LOL, the Evo was a classic, weirdly enough Ive got firsthand experience with them as well as my brother is selling an FQ320 with less miles and no comedy paint for about half that ........... Here it is actually, well worth £20K or whatever If that Zed goes for more than 10K Im selling mine, no questions though.

What, like the friend of mine who lost the bottom end of his Bimmer, dropped oil and then watched as 12 cars ploughed into each other, armco and anything else available .......... and then continued watching a bit later as two people were Medivaced by helicopter? Talk about wallet flashing before your eyes

Good counterfeits can fool almost anything, take him and the cash to the bank to be sure Would you check it if it was a guy from the UK? How is a Swiss more likely to have dodgy notes?? No problem at all with it, once you have the cash its in the bag
-
I know its not everyones taste but Ive got a one off widearch kit made from actual metal, with ridiculous matching wheels, custom paint, better quality mods (D2 coilovers? please) and over a grand worth of tyres and I wouldnt think mine was anywhere near 5 figures, never mind twice that.
-
I know, but its a Supra, I really need a 350Z so I can prove the point.

Right, after speaking to Martin and him speaking to HEL, it seems there isnt a problem and the garage just got it wrong. Ive searched on here and linked them up to a couple of threads but if anyone has a decent pic of the "car" end (rather than caliper end) fitted that might help as well Should add Martin came back to me very quickly to get this sorted
-
Arch flare, camber, stretched tyre to make them fit, those are tough fitments. As others have said, if youre spending decent money a 19 is generally a better bet ........
-
Yep, tried every method short of carrier pigeon No worries now, at least it means I should have the car back tonight
-
The guy at the garage is telling me the connector thats already on the car is male, so it would be a male to male connection, unless the original pipes need modifying?
-
Im sorry, I know some may not agree but this scaremongering over tyres is ridiculous. Matched tyres are the ideal solution, but changing a 452 for a 453 is barely going to be noticeable, never mind steer you off the road. Ive driven in all sorts of conditions on all sorts of tyres and not once has a mismatch of grip been the reason for me going off the grey bit, and I dont know anyone or anywhere that is quite as paranoid as here about it - no-one on SXOC has even mentioned it in 12 years ........ Without being funny if you are worrying to that extent Id advise only driving the car when its bone dry, over 10C and Id also suggest keeping below 50mph just to be sure
-
The garage called and said that the connectors on the braided hoses were male ......... and so are the connectors on the original metal pipes on the car. Not looked myself but trust these guys, bottom line is that they arent going to go on without modification of the original brake pipe Dont think its Martins fault by any means but its a bit frustrating
-
Aye, I know he was in Hospital recenrly but think hes out, its not so desperate now as weve decided to abandon the brake fitting
-
Garage has just called up, they are having some problems with my brake lines ...........
-
totally, the archgaps are so bad he couldnt even get a side on pictures
