TBH its becoming a bit of Time Attack lite, they are slowly changing the rules to favour extreme cars rather than very fast daily drivers which is a shame IMO. As the SXOC we fielded a team and did OK, but realistically unless you have a kitcar in the RWD class you arent going to win anything, if youre in 4WD you need at least 800hp, probably more

The effects of giving a bigger offset or lowering the car will change it... I have been down this route many times with many cars to know. He didnt ask about lowering, and Ive also done this many times, spacers do not affect the cars alignment. They will increase scrub radius but thats not a figure thats associated with alignment as its not easily adjustable and not that easy to measure in the first place.

I had exactly the same experience with Vred's, I honestly dont rate them that much at all.

Everything is fine until it cocks up Ive used a lot of different booking solutions over the years but their pigheaded system was clearly designed to stop you getting anything back, Expedia, skyscanner etc. are a lot more user friendly when things go wrong

Where to start ....... very different cars TBH. I much prefer the way the 2 drives to the Impreza, and the turbo's are pretty quick with it - they are pretty impractical though and are getting long in the tooth now. The Evo is a better drive than the Impreza IMO* but are a lot more expensive, my brother is selling his MR FQ320 for around 10K, they are different league TBH. * You will find people go one or the other here, they are both bloody good cars though Ive also got a MkIII MR2 and while its the most fun of any of the above to drive its also the slowest and most impractical, but you can pick up an 02 car for considerably less than £3K which is a bargain IMO. Why are you considering swapping a 350 for an MR2 turbo though? I can understand the practicality element with the 4 seaters but TBH a Zed whips an SW20 MR2 in pretty much every category ...........?

FFS no, weve booked there, it failed, rebooked and ended up getting charged for 4 flights when we only wanted two. And when I say "we" I mean a company that probably books 4/500 flights a year, at least Expedia is the only one I really use and then go check Ryanair and Easyjet directly, but from knowledge Ryanair fly direct to Paphos, and Im pretty sure easyjet do Luton to Larnaca direct as well.

They were rears. I'm assuming by "quite frankly staggering" means you think it was good. Tyremen told me 10-15k would have been good. I still think it's pretty bad myself. Bad? Sweet jesus man, if I get 5K Ive done well. With no disrespect, it doesnt sound like youre pushing the car to the limit, Ive no doubt the Vreds would be fine - I personally found them quite incommunicative and thought wet grip was average at best. MPSS are the best, I personally really like RE050A's as well. What works on and FWD estate is not always going to be the best choice for an RWD coupe.

Something Ive always mentioned about coilovers is that very few people have experience of more than 1-2 sets so its difficult to make a fair comparison - on a 200SX for instance Ive used or driven HKS, Apex, Tein, Bilstein, Driftworks, D2 and various ebay specials, as well as KYB, Eibach, Nismo shocks and springs so I feel Im pretty well qualified to make a judgement ....... on a 350 Ive only had HSD's and while they have really impressed me Im not really in a position to say whether they are "better" than BC's or even KW's

There were various relatively minor geometry changes as well but I cant find out what they were as my mate wont tell me

As regards the problem, are you sure it was only under braking? It might be the stability control kicking in, particularly if youre running non standard tyres and its only happening on one side, mine was a nightmare for it on track until I figured how to turn ABS, TCS, VDC, ABC, GDP and FFS off The ABS function shouldnt be changed by new hardware, it may be a faulty sensor or something if not

I thought it was good, Stone and Riley as eye candy, the hot hatch bit was excellent and I want a Fester now and the race was pretty good too. Like someone else said, its an entertainment show rather than a documentary, if you dont find it entertaining look elsewhere
