I take it you arent aware of the research going into producing biofuels from algae, from what Ive read the potential there is massive. -
Probably this: Procharged LS2 putting out around 700hp when I drove it, had no grip under 60mph but when it did grip it was too fast to actually check the speedo to see what speed you were going. Theres an interesting story involving the unmarked police car that followed us but Ill save that for another day Although this one: is ridiculous, I dont know what the power to weight is but its got to be close to 1bhp/kg - I took it round Spa in the absolute pissing rain and the only thing that went past it was a GT3 991 RSR, sideways up Eau Rouge was a laugh Will - one word. How? Im also owed a drive in a true 1bhp/kg Westfield running a turbocharged Hayabusa engine, Ill report back if I survive I should point out none of these are mine although they are all for sale at the right price if anyone is interested ...........
-
The one on the left and the one in the middle are Equip's, the one on the far right is an SSR Leon Hardiritt. If the car sells they will all be for sale soon
-
Im with Coldel on this, while you probably have a reasonable case its not worth the time and money to take it to court - Id definitely write to PCC and the Commissioner though, pointing out that you were 1.5 hours into a journey and theres no way they could tell if you were wearing a belt from behind a 370.

Ive got Focals and Im impressed but dont know about Hertz so couldnt say which was better
-
So what have you used on the Zed then? Last count Ive had NS2, T1S, Pirelli Zero Rosso, RE040, T1R, FK453, FK452, Vredestein, RE050 and MPSS on mine and thats not a random order BTW Have you done a few miles or are you just a tyre whore Im a drifter innit Went through 8 sets of rears in the first 13 months and until recently this was my cellar: You dont want to know how many tyres I used in 10 of years of owning 200SX's either, suffice to say it was a lot

Very nice of you to say so mate, LM with fridges, TV's and smoke machines is something everyone should experience at least once
-
Wasso, you are a role model to all of us.
-
Late notice but due to some poor excuses for SXOC members dropping out from LM, we have two car passes spare for camping at Houx with the other 27 of us that are heading down next week. The pitches are £95 each but we may be able to offer a slight reduction and an entry ticket to the track is £75 for the week - budget at least another £100 for food and beer too. The SXOC van is inattendance so we have lasers, smoke machines, fridges, TV's and barbies, all you need is yourself and your drinkin shoes. We are mostly heading down on Wednesday and back on Monday, get involved
-
You stick with your 99 Octane then
-
Feel free to visit us on Houx mate, we have the smoke machine, the 46 inch TV and the frickin laser so shouldnt be difficult to miss

5hp through the range is a decent increase and if your fuel economy improves by even 2% it will pay for itself before long though ........ but youre right, you can buy a generic "Horsham Developments" copied chip for a 200SX for £50 these days that does both of those things. I know a guy who was working on a plug and play standalone for all Nissan ECU's a little while ago but he abandoned it when he realised he could produce it for less than upRev or Nistune.
-
There seems to be a lot of dubious information on this thread - £500 for a car specific map is cheap as chips, my last cars management system cost more than twice that alone, never mind the mapping costs. The reason you dont often see the bells and whistles management on a Z33 is that its overkill - upRev does a decent job of getting the most out of the engine so unless youve got a crazy setup, banging out £2K on Motec isnt actually going to see you much difference. Try and map a 600hp 2.8 single turbo R34 on upRev and I dont think you would get very far ......... Its the same as anything, you buy what you need to do the job, and the fact is for 95% of UK Z33 owners upRev is more than capable. Its not a brand thing, or a research thing, its a capability thing - if you want to be able to control each injector individually and run flat shift gearchanges then look elsewhere, but who needs that on a Zed?
-
When I say problems I mean whole parts disappearing for months, stuff damaged beyond all recognition and absolutely no customer service past the point of booking .......... Ive actually got a TNT account myself with a big discount, send me the details by PM and Ill see what I can do for you

Indeed, E85 (85% ethanol) is actually 105-110 Octane, which is a good thing for drivers of performance cars. Oh, and its cheaper to produce and the emissions are lower too. Not forgetting the huge reduction in reliance on fossil fuels, the fact that ethanol is effectively renewable and of course you dont need to buy it from the UAE. I dont know if you remember when leaded 4 star was phased out but that affected a lot more cars than this does and we still got on with it, ethanol; fuels are a good thing IMO. -
I know a lot of people who have had trouble with Paisley, I wouldnt use them myself .........
-
Oneself thinks thats pretty obviously a Veilside v3 kit, the same as you can buy from Newera tomorrow or a copy from various places this afternoon. Oneself also has one off custom metal arches and bespoke bumpers all over his car, perhaps thats why he is saying what he is.
-
Maybe I missed something, but that looks like you've got a kit and stuck it on a 350Z., widearch or not its still a kit. By all means shout out how much you love your car but dont try to make out its something it isnt, its a 350 with a bodykit at the end of the day.
-
Wow, people round here must be shy or something ..............
-
Assuming its just the bumper bar, one headlight and a bumper, if you went aftermarket with the bumper I reckon youd get away with £1K on parts ......... I dont think thats too bad.
-
Its a bit of a dead sector I think, you only have to look at the almost non existent competition to see it - a GT86 is not in the same league performance (or economy) wise and Boxsters and Caymans are a bit more money - direct rivals like the Z4 dont seem to sell so well either.
-
Lots. TBH it still worked out cheaper than replacing everything with OE but its not something Id do again YHPM .......... youre the first person to get all details as well, move quick for a bargain

Bad alignment usually means that the car grips like no-ones business, I had a set of D01J's that lasted 500 miles as I was running immense toe in, but on the upside I could go round corners at any speed I wanted Seriously though, even though you got 12K Id still check for sanity - it may have just gone in the last few hundred miles and you dont want to be splashing out again after another few hundred miles for the sake of 5 minutes with a plumb line, a tape measure and some chalk
