  1. Having seen the pics, i vote sell the zed, and that way there will only be one azure in Macc. But seriously, tough decision... stick your LM's on for a few weeks before winter and make an effort to take the zed out. See if it helps you decide. Definitely looking forward to more pics.
  2. I had ZZ3's on my previous zed, and found them to be dar better than the RE040's. More communicative than then dead slab of rubber that were the bridgestones. Never noticed all the zeds though, thats cool

02 JDM, 43k (although this is going to creep up fast as i've decided to use it for work too now).
  4. Nope... Santapod is proper Tarmac so will destroy tyres and stress your car. Oulton is a very slippy Tarmac and you could spend a month there and your tyres would be fine. It's very technical and it allows you to learn how to drift and link drifts etc while not giving your car a pasting.
  5. Why not go to one of our many meets? The Wales weekend, the Scottish hoon etc? Sounds like its exactly what you're after.
  6. Absolutely class Leon, i love it!! I was expecting it to be more of a fixer-upper, but that looks ace. So what are your plans for it?
  7. Agreed, but im loving the colour of the zed.
  8. Dont get a set of eBay specials. I bought a set on my previous zed and totally ruined the handling of the car as they were so heavy.
  9. Agree, check your pressures. Even a 2 or 3 psi drop on mine is noticeable.
  10. They're usually £125 for the full day (which is really good value). They're not held as often as they used to be, but the courses are operated by MSV http://www.clubmsv.co.uk/car-home/event ... uctid=1545
  11. Lets give him a chance first before telling him to be spending all his money on other stuff! It wont be cheap wrapping a car and not everyone's got ££££ a month to be spending on a car.
  12. I think 6.35 was the scariest for me. Literally no time to react, and you'd be dead straight away. You're here one second and then gone the next.

  14. Hi, I bought this rear diffuser on here around a month ago, but i've decided i dont want to fit it. I like the style of it, but it's not a perfect fit - you need to press quite firmly on the sides to get it to sit flush with the rear bumper - meaning that it will need bonding on using Silcaflex or Tigerseal etc etc. Not a problem for most people - but i didnt want to do this on my car. I had my brother over to help me fit it, and with his advise we built a layer of body filler on the inside of it and we were then going to 3M tape it onto the car - but with the filler it became quite heavy so the 3M tape wouldnt have held it. I had painted this myself, but then my brother added the filler and it needed a repaint, so i got halfway though re-coating it and gave up! Total waste of time and money, but you live and learn! I would say it could also do with a very light skim of body filler in places, ass there are some very minor imperfections in it. It doesnt need this though. The pictures of it on the car are just resting on my exhaust. It will actually sit higher than this, and will be flush when bonded on (not sloped down at the edges as per my pics). Anyway, i'd like back what i paid for it which was £80. I've already wasted about £40 trying to fit it so either way im out of pocket! Collection only please. Located in Macclesfield.
  15. Nice Cal, your zed's looking great.
  16. Im not a fan of altering the lettering on the back of a car. Either leave it standard or remove altogether. There's an appalling e46 saloon near me with a dreadful bodykit, with a big V6 badge on his boot (and the car's a straight six ffs. )

No worries mate. Just be aware though that it's not the same material as the original. The genuine ones are metal, and cost about £80 if you can find them. These are like a vinyl/plastic counterpart, but with the same design.
  18. A mate drover over a tesco bag a few years ago and it melted onto his exhaust - and stayed melted on for about 2 months so he had the smell of that melting every time he drove the car anywhere! ...ever since then i've always avoided carrier bags in the road

You can get a replica from LikwidArt, thanks to some work Biscuit did with them years ago: http://likwidart.com/index.html viewtopic.php?f=26&t=28563&hilit=likwidart Not sure about getting an original though.. try or Steve @ Redline?
  20. Correct, thats the part. Whilst searching for a replacement, eventually found in Halfords, i used the lid of a biro for a week or so in its place without any problems.
