  1. Mine is the same! Is it a JDM thing? Its way to polite for a horn. No my previous zed was a JDM too and that was a manly noise, so you must have the option too. So gaaaay... I have a little plastic silver shell with a "Z" on it. But if it is the same it is proper gay. Also what makes the horn sporty? This is them i think... http://www.carbeyondstore.com/Nissan-350Z-JDM-Sport-Horn-Set-NIS-B5610CD004.html Not sure what makes it sporty, but i think Ferrari's and Lambo's are the same (well, they were in 90's computer games anyway!).
  2. +1 go for it, i like them. I've had a feel of MadMarky's and they feel really good... very robust.

  4. Thanks Mike... drag race at the next KK meet it is then! I might try going for a blast in it this weekend then... i've been using it for work for the last few months and trying to drive as economically as possible (managed 36 mpg on a 400-mile round trip to Norwich the other week, on A-roads all the way! So it sounds like a hoon might get things back to normal a bit.
  5. My zed has got the optional 'Sports Horn', which is the gayest high pitched noise youve ever heard. I feel a propper tool when im flicking someone the bird and its accompanied by my horn!
  6. Not far off... i've had a couple of drift cars in the past that i've used on the Oulton drift circuit. Not been this year though. Book here: http://www.clubmsv.co.uk/car-home/introduction-to-drifting.aspx My video from last year:
  7. It needs a steering wheel and Forza 4
  8. You know what thats just reminded me... recently i've noticed that my foot has been flat to the floor on a couple of occasions when pushing on, which i've never noticed having to do before.... Could a throttle position reset be required?
  9. Thats what it feels like. I know the old beemers used to have a self learning ECU which adjusts performance to your driving style and i had wondered whether the zed is doing that, but i've never heard of them having that ability so im doubtful its that...
  10. Plugs are changed at 45k or every 5 years, so yours should have been due last year.
  11. Thanks... no fault lights are on and the engine runs perfectly well... no stuttering or lumpy idle, and a reasonably linear power delivery, so I think the MAF and CATS will be fine. I need to check actually whether the plugs have been changed at all... i'd imagine they have given the impeccable service history with the car but i dont know, and im approaching the mileage required for their first swap. It only feels like im a bit down on power, like im making 230-240 bhp or something, but like you say Leon it might be because im driving it more than i have done in the past.
  12. Nope definitely not the clutch, but handbrake... yeh maybe Hey Leon... yeh thats a bummer that would have been useful to drive another. Didnt know about the place in Mongleton so might check that out... the only place i could think of taking it was Ears? I've never been there before so i dont know if they charge a lot, or whether they have a RR though... To be honest im probably not going to get anything checked within the next month as works too busy, but i'll try to get it booked in.
  13. 'The member Marzman cannot recieve any new messages' PM me when you can Shite...! Cant be arsed reading how to resolve that now, too tired. So i've got 1124 'conversations' and a max allowance of 200 now? pfffff/ Jumping - My zed is JDM too so probably wont work, but it might work on the other halfs Fiesta and it'll be useful to hold on to for other cars anyway. Any tips on what software to use? Do you want to ping me an email to marzman at ntlworld dot com with your price incl P&P and your paypal address and i'll get it sent over?
  14. Hey guys... I've been meaning to post this for a while... basically, my zed feels a bit slow, like it might be running down on power a bit? It feel slower than it used to from 30 to 70, regardless of which gear its in? I cant say for sure that it's slower as it might be all in my mind, but im not sure... I've just passed 45k miles this week, and the oil was changed less than 4k miles ago. Its only ever been run on super unleaded. The engine is totally stock, no mods at all. The air filter appears clean but i've not replaced it in the last year and it did come with a second hand airbox i bought, so it could be that? The car itself sounds absolutely fine, and i did manage to wheelspin it going into 4th gear yesterday, so it's totally down on power. I have however been struggling to keep up with some cars that i wouldnt expect... a diesel X5 yesterday was hassling me, and mondeo's and Passats etc seem quicker than they used to... Any ideas what i can check, if anything? Or do i need to get it on a Dyno?
  15. 'The member jumping350 cannot receive any new messages' Just tried to PM you about the bluetooth jobby... any idea if this works on a 350? If you think it might, i'll take it if its still available.
  16. Were you in the right gear? The flywheel grumbles if it's a light weight fly, and you're not going fast enough for the gear you're in.
  17. Im sure Tarmac can hook you up with what you're after...
  18. Doesnt exist anymore. It was a guy on here similar to Nurrish who was making them for a few months but he disappeared too. No one is currently making them on here, but they're really not difficult to make. Just search for 7" sat nav on ebay and they're about £55 from China. You then just need to dismantle the unit and mount it in your car. Easy.
  19. Well done. 4 of my colleagues did this yesterday too... just looked up their times on the website.
  20. Mine does this too, and i have loads of meat left on the pads.
  21. Focus ST-2 for under £5k these days.... that would be my choice i think.
  22. Sounds like trouble-free motoring for a while for you then.
