I was going to suggest Rocher as you should be able to get in there. I've been recommended to go to Rocher as you see much of the swimming pool area, the Ras Cas and the back of the Pits, and you also get a big TV screen infront of you. However it's just a grassy hill and you have to be there hours before the race and then not move for fear of losing your spot. I dont know if you can take fold up chairs but i would do. EDIT: I just looked on youtube and you seem to have a choice of view points from Rocher...

It's hardly a scam though is it?? A mistake has been made... if the seller mis-represented the item and told you something which turned out to not be true then he should offer you a refund. But if he doesnt it's not the end of the world... just put it back up for sale! You shouldnt lose much, if any money on it.

Cheers Ian.

Picked up my cooling panel from Chris at Japfest and finally fitted it this weekend. Got to say i'm very happy with it - it's a great bit of kit. I needed to adjust the bonnet latch as per Chris' guide, but other than that it was a very easy fit. Also fitted my Rare JDM engine cover too before Japfest... although - is it supposed to have an extra piece which covers the front of the engine slightly?

Very cool mate.

Great, glad it was of use to you. Now get a video of it up!

Been busy with my new Range Rover!

Picked mine up from Chris at Japfest. I've not fitted it yet but it's definitely a quality bit of kit and im very happy with it. Much appreciated Chris! The pics dont show the colour at all, but it's a really nice shade of blue.

That's totally badass man! Loving the rims on the Range. Not sure what to do with mine yet... will probably keep them standard for the time being. Not arranged the cars in anyway at all, just plonked on my drive, but here's some (filthy) pics.

Have you still got your Zed too? Awesome. Im looking forward to taking a pic of mine on the drive actually.... with the Range behind and the Zed infront. Might be a bit hard to setup though, as we can only drive 1 car at a time

Cheers Jim.

Just picked the Range up tonight... what a car! Even for the 2.7 diesel it feels pretty rapid. Plenty of power yet a near silent drive from within the cabin. I got 29mpg on the way home too. Lots of extras on it... voice control sat-nav is a nice touch, and it's even got a fridge! It's really easy to drive too and incredibly comfortable. I'll see if i can take some pics tomorrow. I now own my 2 of my 3 all time dream cars (Zed and RRS) ... the only other car i've had on my dream list is an F40, but i don't think i'll be getting one of those any time soon.

Sweet vid...! Good to see you there Tim!

Yesterday was the first race i have not fully watched in about 5 years - simply due to this appaling tyre saving farce that it seems to have become. Im not interested in it at all.... Why cant a driver drive to the best of his ability, pushing the envelope every single lap anymore? That's what motorsport is about, not the tacticians working out how slowly you need to drive to in order to save yourself a pitstop. Load of rubbish. last year was okay but the 3 or 4 seasons prior to that were perfect.

My god, that stuff was dreadful!! I dont know if it reacted with the wax that was already on the car or what, but my clean zed turned into a hideous, smudged dull mess when i applied it! I then went round the car with a bottle of water trying to get it off, but only some propper polish shorted it in the end.... cheers for the help guys! What was it you gave me? Be good to know what was on the car already so members can avoid the combo. I use Megs Last Touch as my QD, as yet never had any probs on my or other people's cars I'd used Dodo Juice Purple Haze wax a couple of weeks ago, and most recently a layer of Simoniz Detailer Wax the day before. Both products work fantastically but the Megs Quick Detailer was shocking. Running around like a madman at Japfest! I didn't even get to see half of it - too little time! Wish I spoke to some more Z members, but I was rushing around cleaning the car, swapping to my track wheels, re-arranging track time because I didn't have long sleeve top on! Anyway - regards to the Megs detailer - it worked perfectly for me too, it definitely does look like some sort of reaction mate. Mine was gleaming! I'm guessing AmyZed had the same result?? Is anyone uploading Japfest photos to a central location? That way we can all see the photos together? Maybe a good idea! Pics are here mate. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/71099-the-zeds-of-japfest-2013/ -

Here's my track video from the GoPro. You can just about see BBK on the grass at 1.38. I also had a bit of a wobble on entry to the track, and i exited the session about a couple of laps early as i had a bad vibration on my front left tyre, so got a few of you flying past whilst i was going slow. Quality looks a bit crap on youtube for some reason (you can up it to 720p) but my video file is great quality.

Yep I noticed that last night and had a chuckle.

Cheers mate, i've been reading a worrying number of these horror stories. Looking into the AA breakdown warranty which is only £71 a year, and they give you 5x £500 claims per year. But you only have access to this if you have called them out for a breakdown or for homestart. I need to do some reading to see if it's any good.

Yeh 108k miles, Diesel. Im not overly concerned by the mileage... i'll be doing about 8-10k a year in it so i should get at least 2 or 3 more years before it starts losing major money due to the mileage. There are loads for sale with 140k plus so i dont believe there are any questions about longevity. Also the rate of depreciation with these is scary, so buying right at the bottom of the market should limit my exposure to that. I honestly think this guy has under-priced this car... he paid £19k for it in Nov 2011 with 85k on the clock and im giving him £13.5k. It's got a full landrover service history and compared to others i've been looking at i think this car could be worth up to £15k. The tell tale is that the guy said it had only been for sale for 1 day when i got in touch!
-
Agree... it had to be a black one. Nope... the Zed's going nowhere!!!! Im never selling it!

What spec is the car? Does it have leather and Brembos? If not then it may be as low as £4500.
