  1. Not having a dig, but take some pictures somewhere else. Those garages look really rough and it instantly makes me think this car hasnt been looked after very well.
  2. I know, i was skeptical before i bought them and just took a punt on whether they'd look any good, seeing as they were going for next to nothing on eBay. There was no way i'd lose money on them, the tyres alone are worth more than i paid for the whole lot. Having fitted them i'm more than happy with how they've turned out... slightly better offsets than stock is my fave part.
  3. So i've done a few miles with these on today and im happy to report the car doesnt feel any different to drive, which is what i was worried about. No tramlining or any bumpier than usual, so im happy. It's great though... when driving the zed all i get it looks of admiration and people smiling and pointing. However when im in the RRS, all i get is looks of disgust from people, and today even more so. Mission accomplished
  4. I've just taken delivery of some bling-tastic wheels for my Range Rover Sport today... which i'll be fitting this evening. I have been keeping my eye on eBay for a set of rims ever since i got the car, but with prices around £1500 with tyres for a set of 2nd hand wheels, i wasnt planning on getting any unless i could find a bargain. Then on Monday night, with 3 minutes to go on the auction, i found a set of 22" Black alloys with a lip, and the bidding was only at £301! Yes, i know they're Wolfrace and therefore total garbage, but i thought they were worth a punt! So i put a bid in and won the auction... total £336 incl delivery! Anyway, i had them shipped to my mums house as i thought i'd be at work, but im working from home today so i've just been and picked them up. Here's a teaser pic... i will be fitting them tonight. I've also ordered some clear side repeaters which i shall be fitting very soon too. UPDATE - FITTED PICS!! Right... i finished work at 5.30 and got straight on to fitting them. And bloody typical, it started pissing it down just as i got all my gear out! It was pretty hard work to be honest though... every single nut on my stock wheels seemed to have seized on... it took me an age to undo them all, and i've managed to slip a disc in the process. Barely able to stand, i soldiered on in the rain, and I have now finished. Have to say i'm really pleased with how they look. Not driven on them yet though, so it remains to be seen how badly affected the ride is. On to the pics.... The Range is filthy so please ignore that. And i set my suspension to low just for the pics... looks a little cooler. I've also not fitted the wheel centers as they have a large Wolfrace logo on them... so im going to order some Land Rover centers instead before fitting them. Dont even think i'd get one of these wheels in the zed.
  5. You not selling the Zed then Marz Heh heh. Not sure yet to be honest.
  6. Looks like good fun! How much was the 30 minute session?
  7. Ironhide also had some made, but I think this might have been a one-off run. I've got one in anodised blue and the quality is outstanding.
  8. TDI North in Warrington are a tuner/garage, and they're also a trader on here.
  9. I liked both styles, but love this final version Bob. You know how i felt about your rays when you had them in this style, so glad to see a return to form.
  10. I've lost the picture sadly, but i did this with a beemer i had once. Mine was V328 GEN and one day i parked at Old Trafford next to the exact same model/spec/colour car, which was V329 GEN. I couldnt believe it. Mine was better though as both cars were BMW 328's so my plate was cooler.
  11. Yeh i didnt think i needed to specify that bit... give the man some credit
  12. I'd go for an Aerosync rep Chris... or maybe see if you can figure out what makes the Aerosync look so cool and extend it further (very close to a NismoV1 but has that little something extra which makes it look cool).
  13. I was let down a little by 4, and im concerned that they're bringing this out on the current gen when it's only got a few months of it's life left. I would rather have waited another year and seen a next gen version.
  14. Take two pictures from an identical angle, and i'll edit them in photoshop for you if you've not got the software etc.
  15. Yeh it's not getting sold for £5.5k, so some people can chill out. Thanks for the comments though everyone... kind of makes me feel like i'd be mad to let it go. I've just been talking it over with my wife (still not used to saying that!) and we think i should keep it. It's not doing any harm or costing me a load of money, so i think i'll keep hold of it until something comes along which floats my boat that is a bit more race-inspired. ...or until someone makes me an offer i cant refuse.
  16. No danger, its a keeper! I hope it is for you mate.
  17. I think i'd need to to get what i want for it. I reckon i've got close to £2500 of parts on it that i could strip and sell quite easily, for not much extra cost to source alternative parts. It's just a shame to do so.
  18. So im not sure how i feel about this... but im considering letting my zed go in the next few months. Since getting the Range Rover Sport back in May i've done less than 200 miles in the zed, and cant see any time on the horizon when i'm likely to take it out either. I thought i'd treat it as my weekend car, but to be honest we'd rather go out in the range on the weekend too! I dont need to sell it, but i just feel like it's getting no use and will start to suffer the longer i leave it. I've just had my tax renewal though which is due at the end of August, and i dont know what to do...? I never drive it through the winter anyway, taking it off the road in November, so it's not even worth me taxing it for 6 months as i'll probably only take it out once or twice through Sept/Oct, so basically i'll be packing it up in 2 weeks until March next year...? That just doesnt feel right. I also dont feel like it's quick enough or focused enough to turn into a dedicated track car to warrant keeping it... i'd want to get something much lighter if i was to go down that route. So what would you do? How much it's worth is a tough question too... I know what i want for it, and what i feel it's worth (either as a whole or more likely in parts), but i'm sure that will raise an eyebrow or two on here! At the end of the day it's a 52-plate JDM, so that should put it at around the £5k mark, but with only 48k, full genuine Nismo kit, 19" Volk GTS with MPS2's, Nismo exhaust, RSW interior etc etc i would want more like £8k for it. What do you reckon folks... keep it or let it go?!
