1. Yup pro was a mistake, the game is rather harsh in its introduction, I was struggling with it too but a group of us have been playing with settings and it's now much much better. I tried to add you to come join Ekona, myself and some friends but I guess you didn't see the invite. Will be back on Sunday so can try then. Stick with it though, it's got lots of rough edges but given time and support this is going to be a gem, I'm loving it. No didnt see the invite sorry. I've put the racing line on and enabled TCS and ABS. What really seems to have done the trick though is i've increased the throttle and brake deadzone and reduced the throttle sensitivity. Much better now... just managed about 10 laps of Oulton in an RUF in light rain! ...feel like im cheating using the racing line though.
2. ... probably shouldt say this, but our company manages the ticketing systems for Ipswich, Norwich and Brentford. I've been managing the Wembley preparations directly with Ipswich & Norwich all week! We also have Sheffield United, and have recently signed Southend Utd (although Southend arent on our platform yet), but both of those are in playoffs too. It's been a busy week at our offices!
3. Man im struggling a bit with Project Cars. I've done about 15 laps of Donnington so far, and only kept it on the track for 1 full lap! I'm driving the Ginetta Junior, and still struggling. I went for the Pro difficulty. Think i need to dial it down a bit.
4. Thats a lovely colour. Looks like it's got a hint of gold in it.
5. Awesome. Just watched the review on this. Looking at £250 for the basic unit, which is a bit rich for me at the mo (middle of moving house). Might pickup a cheap wheel for the time being, and upgrade in 12 months.
6. Man this is killing me. What wheel have you got Dan? I've got a driving rig but no wheel/pedals to go with it!!
7. Anyone know if Tesco will be selling it tonight after midnight...? I cant wait!
8. I'd been looking forward to it all week. Went up to my brothers house, started drinking at about 5pm. Went into town, and at about 2am i was puking up from drinking too much. Passed out on the sofa shortly after and missed the fight. Regretting it today.

10. Sorry OP for off topic, but as I (and i suspect many others) am a nosey bugger, i'd like an explanation of why WW has been banned. Both threads (that i have seen) discussing this have been locked, without any explanation other than that he is banned.
11. Holy fook. That looks painful. How did you manage that?!
12. What happened there? Downshift at too high revs and the rear axle locked up, or just weight transfer from the gear change mid corner? Thought i would have been more well balanced than that.
13. Im in the middle of moving house so going through a similar process at the moment. I've always been on Virgin Media - top package, multiroom, Sky Sports... and it's £115 per month (and i dont have movies, although i dont need them. ) My new house is in a non-VM area so need to find an aternative. All i really care about is getting the sports channels and having the ability to record. I think im going to try out Freeview with my Smart TV which can also record to an external HDD apparently. Im then going to look out for one of these boxes which streams the sports channels from an online source.
14. Many marques seem to have risen 10-20% in the last 18 months. Audi R8's and Ferarri 360's were starting at around £35k ish and have now crept up to £40k. Similar story right down the spectrum from what i've seen, e.g. Elise's etc. Now i wouldnt necessarily call these appreciating assets... there are only a few of the real 'money cars' out there, like the Sagaris and NSX, which have seemingly doubled in value in the last 5 years.
15. I thought it was a good race. Really enjoyed it.
16. I get your point. I just feel it's unnecessary to say spaghetti with an Italian accent or transferring the stress to a different syllable so it sounds like how a non-native might say it. Some words are acceptable such as "garage" i.e. for lack of phonemes, garidge ( as an brit might say it ) or gararsh ( like a French person might say it ) After all it is a French word that is used in English. But I wouldn't say i'm going to "Pari" for the weekend instead of Paris. That is hyper-foreignism and it's just not necessary. So in it goes to Room 101 ( rock_steady pokes it in with a long pointy stick ) get in there you! Of course, if you're learning Spanish and you are going to speak Spanish then the vowel sounds are different and some effort is required in order to pronounce it as a Spanish person would, but to mix and match your pronunciation when a word isn't native to the English language just sounds a bit silly IMO. so there !! My Wife and I met my dad in Mexico for a holiday last year, and each night in the different restaurants he always had to pronounce his order in the restaurant-theme's accent (Italian, French etc). It was so embarrassing! My wife would be kicking me under the table whenever he was doing it as she HATES it. WRONG. It's definitely garidge up my way.
17. Get yourself one the smallest legal plates you can get then... you know the ones where it's a non-standard size as its been chopped down. I think that'll suit the look. If you're going to any local shows over the summer, gimme a shout! Im missing the car scene a lot.
18. This looks great. I wish i had a cool car to use it on. Im getting bored of driving ordinary....
19. Agreed - what happened to the small number plate i used to have on it?
20. Anyone seen this doing the rounds on facebook lately? Well worth a watch.
21. I decided to get a corded electric one earlier this year. I had wanted to go down the compressor route, but the space they take up, and more importantly for my budget, i couldnt get an impact wrench and compressor. The cheapest corded one you can get in the UK is a Clarke CEW1000 at about £70, however whilst trawling eBay i found a 'Timbertech' impact wrench from Germany with a european plug. I bought it for £44 incl delivery and it included a UK adapter too. I've used it a number of times over the last few months, and it's paid for itself already. VERY handy. Sadly unavailable on Amazon now, and none on eBay either. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Timbertech%C2%AE-ESSR01-Impact-Screwdriver-Carry/dp/B0036DVXXG
