Yeah you can buy a non turbo 944 pretty cheap.. But the Turbos are rare and really fetching big money ! You're right, i've not been looking at Turbo's, just 924's and 944's. You've been talking about a track car for donkeys mate- pull your finger out and get it done! still remember your old rx7 drift videos Nice porker mate. Thought about one as a resto project last year but decided it was too sensible for me lol. Got an mr2 but an NA sadly I'm still paying off my credit card from moving house in the summer. Get that sorted, get a 4x4 with a tow bar to tow my car to the track, get a track car, and oh, get a trailer, and i'll be all set. I'll post pics in 2019 when i'm all sorted, you wont be laughing at me then.

Means nothing. Your car hasnt been clocked. The MOT tester fat fingers an 8 instead of a 6 and it gets printed on your certificate and saved to the online database. Probably oil on the keys and he couldnt read it. No drama. And why would anybody bother 'clocking' a car to hide a measly 20k?

I've been perusing these online this week. I think i want to use one of these as my track car, when I eventually get round to getting one.

I like to think i contributed to a portion of that. Maybe one of the tyres! That's awesome mate, enjoy.

Here was mine on my old zed. To be honest it wasnt the best bit of kit as the remote receiver box isnt waterproof and packed up after 2 weeks despite being under the bonnet. I've actually still got this as i removed it from my car before i sold it... but im holding onto it for a future project on another car.

You could go as different Mario Kart characters. Or have one word one each car and then drive in order, so when you pass people on the motorway it's like THATS WHAT SHE SAID

It's a bit of a let down but i'm not that surprised by the cost. I can live with it and at the end of the day what's an extra 200 quid (over what i hoped it would cost?) It's the high hardware requirements that have disappointed me though. Until recently i assumed it would be Xbone compatible as i knew it was closely linked to the xbone controller, and if it needed a PC i didnt expect it to need to be so high spec. I've not got a tower PC anymore, just laptop. But to build the kind of rig required AND buy Oculous i'm going to need to spend the best part of £1500... which i dont really want to do as it may just turn out to be a gimmick.

Wow, that looks odd. Others may know better than me but its hard to see how a restoration kit could improve that. When you say it might be due to the HID upgrade, have you changed the bulbs from what i had in? I think i had 10,000k bulbs in it. As for the sidelights - yes you'll be absolutely fine to run then as well as the DRL's. You need to make sure you get decent bulbs though as i ran a couple of different types of LED W5W's and they always failed (one would work, one wouldnt) i'm guessing because they didnt have resistors.

Looking mint, Tim.

Can you put UK centre gauge cluster in a Jap import model?
marzman replied to davidv10's topic in 350Z Technical
Yes, straight swap for UK gauges. It's a common mod for any JDM owner, if you can find a set of UK gauges. Plug and play takes about 15 minutes to swap over. -
Cheers dude. Yep we definitely underestimated how hard it was going to be! I've fitted a dog flap in the back door and he's already using that which is great, but he still goes inside too, which we need to work on.

Aha, i can join in with this thread now! We bought our first puppy about 3 weeks ago! Whilst we got him at Christmas it doesnt mean he's a Christmas pup... it just coincided with me being off work for nearly 3 weeks. It's been a tough time house training him but we're getting there. Another couple of weeks though and we should be sorted. He's a Cocker Spaniel and Miniature Poodle cross (Cockapoo). We've really struggled to name him... have tried about 4-5 names since we've had him but the only one that has seemed to stick is Diggy, short for Diego. I dont love it, but my wife is happy!

Last year i bought my first house, but i've been driving an '05 bmw 320d for the last 18 months in order to save for the deposit. Now we're settled, this year i hope to get another Range Rover Sport, or full fat Range Rover. Something with a tow bar, so i can get myself a track car and a trailer for 2017.

Bought myself a 1TB USB 3.0 drive for my Xbox today - only £35 in Sainsburys which is a better price than i could find online! Have re-installed a bunch of games which i'd had to delete, so pleased with that!

Ah how come the move Mike?

I drove a Gallardo and a GTR on one of these days. The GTR was rapid, but so sedate, whilst the Lambo felt slower, it was much harder work and much more of an experience. Make of that what you will but i would say if i were doing it again i'd try to go for something in between the two, Ferrari and 997TT probably.

Use your wildcard if you havent already! I had a horrific start... i had most of the Chelsea/Southampton team and wasnt on the Vardy/Marhez gravy train until November

Star Wars - The Force Awakens Discussion *SPOILERS*
marzman replied to marzman's topic in Off Topic Discussion
Maybe he did. Maybe he trained them all and then dropped them on different planets throughout the galaxy as one-person sleeper cells and that's why Rey has force powers. She was just too young to remember the training. He knew it was too dangerous to keep them all together with such a high force-concentration so he spread them out. -
Im enjoying Boomerang Rentals. I had to get 3x crappy games before i could get access to the good stuff, but right now i've got Rainbow Six and Need For Speed. I've spent about half an hour on both so far. NFS is utter tosh. No steering wheel support, WTF? I'll give it another hour though before i post it back. Rainbow Six on the other hand appears to be wicked! I've just done the first couple of training missions and they're great fun! Rapelling through a window just as i blow it is awesome! The controls feel ever so slightly strange (not quite up to CoD or BF standards) so it feels a little unwieldy at the moment. Also noticed Thief is free on Games with Gold at the moment.

Star Wars - The Force Awakens Discussion *SPOILERS*

Actually this has made me think, and given me a different perspective on Han's death. I can remember my first time watching episode IV in the 80's and being upset about Obi-Wan dying. He was a past great with a rich history, and they killed him off. Han's death could be considered the same for the new generation, who dont really know him and haven't seen the originals (i.e. kids new to the series). -

Star Wars - The Force Awakens Discussion *SPOILERS*

This is it... i can overlook the plot holes completely, as it is just a film after all. It's called artistic license. The only thing that has (massively) bothered me is the way in which Han died. I think they could have achieved the same result (journey to the dark side complete) had they killed Leia in the same manner, and nobody would have been upset. Han just deserved more imho. -
Looks like a bees nest, Jim Leon... what a scrooge!

I know... one of my all time favorites! To be fair i had big ideas but then they ended up pretty small
