Wow, that looks odd. Others may know better than me but its hard to see how a restoration kit could improve that. When you say it might be due to the HID upgrade, have you changed the bulbs from what i had in? I think i had 10,000k bulbs in it. As for the sidelights - yes you'll be absolutely fine to run then as well as the DRL's. You need to make sure you get decent bulbs though as i ran a couple of different types of LED W5W's and they always failed (one would work, one wouldnt) i'm guessing because they didnt have resistors.

    Cracked how, any pics?
  3. Yes, straight swap for UK gauges. It's a common mod for any JDM owner, if you can find a set of UK gauges. Plug and play takes about 15 minutes to swap over.
  4. Cheers dude. Yep we definitely underestimated how hard it was going to be! I've fitted a dog flap in the back door and he's already using that which is great, but he still goes inside too, which we need to work on.
  5. Aha, i can join in with this thread now! We bought our first puppy about 3 weeks ago! Whilst we got him at Christmas it doesnt mean he's a Christmas pup... it just coincided with me being off work for nearly 3 weeks. It's been a tough time house training him but we're getting there. Another couple of weeks though and we should be sorted. He's a Cocker Spaniel and Miniature Poodle cross (Cockapoo). We've really struggled to name him... have tried about 4-5 names since we've had him but the only one that has seemed to stick is Diggy, short for Diego. I dont love it, but my wife is happy!
  6. Last year i bought my first house, but i've been driving an '05 bmw 320d for the last 18 months in order to save for the deposit. Now we're settled, this year i hope to get another Range Rover Sport, or full fat Range Rover. Something with a tow bar, so i can get myself a track car and a trailer for 2017.
  7. Bought myself a 1TB USB 3.0 drive for my Xbox today - only £35 in Sainsburys which is a better price than i could find online! Have re-installed a bunch of games which i'd had to delete, so pleased with that!
  8. Ah how come the move Mike?
  9. I drove a Gallardo and a GTR on one of these days. The GTR was rapid, but so sedate, whilst the Lambo felt slower, it was much harder work and much more of an experience. Make of that what you will but i would say if i were doing it again i'd try to go for something in between the two, Ferrari and 997TT probably.
  10. Use your wildcard if you havent already! I had a horrific start... i had most of the Chelsea/Southampton team and wasnt on the Vardy/Marhez gravy train until November
  11. Maybe he did. Maybe he trained them all and then dropped them on different planets throughout the galaxy as one-person sleeper cells and that's why Rey has force powers. She was just too young to remember the training. He knew it was too dangerous to keep them all together with such a high force-concentration so he spread them out.
  12. Im enjoying Boomerang Rentals. I had to get 3x crappy games before i could get access to the good stuff, but right now i've got Rainbow Six and Need For Speed. I've spent about half an hour on both so far. NFS is utter tosh. No steering wheel support, WTF? I'll give it another hour though before i post it back. Rainbow Six on the other hand appears to be wicked! I've just done the first couple of training missions and they're great fun! Rapelling through a window just as i blow it is awesome! The controls feel ever so slightly strange (not quite up to CoD or BF standards) so it feels a little unwieldy at the moment. Also noticed Thief is free on Games with Gold at the moment.
  13. Actually this has made me think, and given me a different perspective on Han's death. I can remember my first time watching episode IV in the 80's and being upset about Obi-Wan dying. He was a past great with a rich history, and they killed him off. Han's death could be considered the same for the new generation, who dont really know him and haven't seen the originals (i.e. kids new to the series).
  14. This is it... i can overlook the plot holes completely, as it is just a film after all. It's called artistic license. The only thing that has (massively) bothered me is the way in which Han died. I think they could have achieved the same result (journey to the dark side complete) had they killed Leia in the same manner, and nobody would have been upset. Han just deserved more imho.
  15. Looks like a bees nest, Jim Leon... what a scrooge!
  16. I know... one of my all time favorites! To be fair i had big ideas but then they ended up pretty small
  17. We've bought our first house this year and i'm hosting Christmas for the first time ever, so i wanted to go all out Clark W Griswold to impress me Mum. Tree was a 10.5 footer (£85!!) but i chopped 1.5' off the bottom and 1' off the top as my lounge ceiling is only 8'.
  18. Dan, i think you should edit your post mate to include the spoiler tags...
  19. Well? Who's seen it? I had tickets for the midnight showing last night, and as a HUGE fan of the originals what was my verdict? I was blown away. Honestly i thought it was absolutely fantastic. Brilliant story, maybe slightly too much comedy but it was genuinely funny, it was near perfect... ***WARNING - DO NOT CLICK IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IT, UNLESS YOU WANT TO RUIN IT FOR YOURSELF***
  20. Lovely Zed that was, back in the day.
  21. So I had a presentation to do on Friday and i ended taking one of our work projectors home with me. Nothing special, not even 1080p, but i thought i'd have a play with it. RRP on this model is about £300. First there was Fifa on my lounge wall, followed by a bit of Battlefront (no pic, sorry) Then tonight i thought i'd take everything upstairs and try a bit of driving in my man cave. Unfortunately due to the length of HDMI lead and the cable between my wheel and xbox i couldnt have the projector as far back as i wanted it (to make a bigger screen), but it was still fun.
  22. Yeah, cracks me up. He's got a few more here: https://www.instagram.com/iamqueenzflip/
  23. Absolutely gut wrenching. Martin was a top bloke and was one of the first people I met on the forum nearly a decade ago. Always very friendly and went the extra mile. A massive loss to the car community. Liz, my thoughts are with you and family. x I remember on my first Wales meet in October 2008, at the carvery in Bala he stood up and said a few words, including wishing me a happy birthday, and he'd had a card made for me, and i'd only met him once before at that point. What a gent. A couple of pics i've got of him... Obviously not of Mart, but of the card he got me.
