Why do it off the reverse wire? Just find a permanent 12v feed - then its on all the time. I have a brain unit to my HU in the glovebox, so i tapped into the 12v feed for that and put it on a switch. But i only ever need to switch it off if im not gonna drive the car for a while (holiday etc). Also, i agree with your reasoning - u use mine all the time when reversing somewhere where i cant see if there's a post behind me or something - or occasionally when my rear window has steamed up and i cant be arsed waiting for it to clear up!

Just wait till you watch the other review in iceland where they compare the crossfire, zed, and tt. That winds me up so much - they do a drag race - on sand! Obviously the zed's not gonna beat the 4wd TT is it. It annoyed me so much!

They are not smudged out thats how we have our number plates -its great you just drive at 130 mph past speed cameras and they cant do nowt!! Quality. Does big phil do them?

DJ, i have a used pair of black ones you can have for a tenner delivered. They are the black with a slight orange tinge when viewed in different lights, but are certainly an improvement. I can send them to you and if you dont like them then return them to me, as long as you give me a refund for the postage i spent! i've got LED's as above.

Didnt know you were a hairdresser martin? It would be a waste of time imho getting another 2 seater as a second car! You want something like a ford focus or something. Cheap to fix, dont mind it getting battered, and does the job.

Hi All! Well, my new wheels finally arrived today, after 7 weeks of waiting!! I found the wheels i wanted, and applied for a credit card that day. However, it took 3 weeks before it arrived and i could use it! Then, i ordered the wheels, and they said i'd have them in 6 days. Well, 4 weeks later they've arrived. After a load of arguments with them (re tyre size, delivery times etc) they finally got here at 2.30pm I fitted them straight after work - well, my mate did - i couldn't do it with my bad back! After being very worried about the offsets and how much it would look like a monster truck, im glad to say its turned out all right The wheel shop said they were +35 offsets all round, but they're actually +20 on the front! So, specs are: 245/35/19 on the front (8.5J +ET20), and 275/35/19 on the rear (9.5J +ET35), with Falken 452's all round. As for weight, the rears did feel heavier but the fronts were approx the same. Lastly, they're badged as Wolfrace, but they're actually Ruff Racing. Anyway - feel free to flame me for buying cheap-ass wheels, but i love them. £940 is still a lot of money to me, and i wasnt prepared to pay any more than that Look at the offset improvement over standard JDM's. My mate Tom who fitted them is driving!

just make sure you get a firm quote before you commit to buy - im paying £2.5k. No accidents, just dont like me.

Mate, mine does exactly the same thing. I dont think its the clicking rear axle issue, as mine does that separately. This is a very distinct creaking noise, which i get 9 times out of 10 when reversing onto my drive. And as you say, a slight hill seems to make it worse. I dont think the heat has anything to do with it... apart from you might have your windows open now when driving?? ...It drives me nuts, but i've not had it looked into - sorry. Chris.

Painting them silver. Got black wheels with a chrome lip coming this week hopefully, so going to go with a black & silver theme across the car - so will be tinting the windows later in the summer.

Hi Guys, Im going to be painting my calipers this week probably - what should i clean them with first?? Im not gonna be removing the calipers or pads etc, so it needs to be a paint on cleaner... ...and before you all start - i've got JDM brakes so im not doing anything sacrilege!
