Wouldnt this look best with just a plain white background? The backdrop wont look good on a mug will it?? I'll have a go when i get home tonight if nobody beats me to it...

I thought COD3 was good and wished some of the stuff was carried over to 4. From what I've heard so far it's very good and a excellent continution on from 4. For the record im on prestige 6 Tosser Having said that, i only ever played Team Deathmatch, until in August i realised you get 4 times as many points on Headquarters!! The time i've wasted...
-
I lived on COD4 until about a month ago (3rd lvl prestige ) ... but im not sure im even gonna bother with COD5 - Trearch are making it rather than IW, as they did with COD3 and that sucked!! ...but i'll have a look though, cheers Mike! Chris. (currently glued to Fifa09)

I'd already heard the gossip at zedfest...

Hey Stan. Choice of two bulbs if iirc. Although no sure fire way to know which until you get the bulb out!! If it has hid headlights as you suggest, the bulb your require is a D2R, which the cheapest i've seen them for is £48ea from a local parts store. Nissan want over a hundred each i think! If it is standard bulbs, you're after an H7 i believe. As for finding out which bulb is fitted - can you compare the look of the headlight to yours when switched on? I've not really looked at the HID lights in action before, but thats probably your only option... As for the swap... good luck - the nights are drawing in now, and i dont think i'd have enough time for a bumper off job by the time i get home from work!

all my search terms contained the word FOG! The fog light used to work but now doesnt, meaning its either the bulb or the fuse... dcash - can you hear a buzz when you switch yours on? Useful link though... will print it out for future reference!
-
Thats my dilemma - i've had the brake light off, but there's no access to the foglight bulb. I can get to the indicator there, but im guessing cos it was an SVA frig, the unit doesnt have the standard bulb access - hence i need to take the bumper off... so in this case the fuse is easier to check!
-
As you know mike, mine work intermittently... And these were £12 for Halfrauds! I've taken them out in the end and have no sidelights in the headlights now... just my led reflectors.
-
Okay, i fixed my windscreen washers, but i've got a question about the foglight. As the cars a JDM, the foglight will have been added for the SVA. When i flick the rocker switch by my right knee, the light on the switch comes on, but i can hear a quick, distinct buzz from the fuse panel by my right foot. This happens when i turn it off also. So, does this sound like a blown fuse, or is this normal. And from the pics, does anyone have any suggestions as to which fuse it may be?! I've just tried to get to the fog light bulb, but it looks like a bumper off job as there's no access to the bulb having taken the taillight off. - im guessing UK units can get to the bulb no problem eh? Never mind. So, if someone with a JDM and a working foglight can check if their's buzzes, then i'd very much appreciate it!! Cheers Chris. Hmmm false alarm then, they didnt mention the handbrake! I've failed on a faulty rear fog light, and my windscreen washers appear to be blocked... not too shabby! ...Im off to search for the required diy's now...!
-
I take it its the oem alarm? Mine has an aftermarket alarm, and occasionally does this. I soon figured out that it was the interior motion sensors that are at the top of the A-Pillar. If i or a passenger had knocked them, and they were pointing more toward the windscreen, it would set it off repeatedly - in the same manner as you described. I dont know if they were picking up outside movements, or a temperature change or what, i just know pointing these to the center of the car fixed it. Good luck!

The 10mm screw under the ashtray is for the handbrake handle travel adjustment - which is worth a go before the MOT - it could solve the problem if it's just tightening the cable that needs doing. If the shoes are slightly worn, you can try the shoe adjuster on each wheel, takes a bit longer tho! - Take a look at step 23 of the non-brembo rear-brakes change guide I posted last week How to: Change non-Brembo rear discs & pads Otherwise changing the shoes is a relatively easy job if you own a set of spanners, breaker bar and a trolley jack - release handbrake, take the discs off (as in my guide), loosen handbrake cable adjuster at the ash-tray to make shoe removal easier, remove brake shoe holding pins and springs - then the shoes should pull apart and come out Steve Cheers Steve, good guide. But i wont be doing this myself... Well, i might have if i'd posted the question before the weekend but its too late now So does anyone know if the brake shoes are readily available from a standard motor factors store, incase i need them?

Good question. This is the only auto i've ever driven so i dont know any different. May well stop using it!
-
 or i may have driven with it on for about 20 yards once or twice... damn auto - i forget to check it sometimes. ..I mean yeah, cough, its the handbrake turns that have worn it out...

I would say over the last 6 months prices have taken as big a hit as they ever would - i paid £13k for my import 03 plate with 35k on the clock, but its now probably worth about £8.5k This time last year the cheapest UK models were about £15.5k, but i think they're as low as £11k now... I couldn't tell you the prices for what you're after as i've only been looking at the bottom line really. ...as for how long you plan to keep it, i thought i'd be the same - i'd never kept any car more than 11 months before, but i can see myself keeping the zed for another couple of years yet!
-
... did you just take the graphic from the top of the page for your number plate, or did you find another copy? I tried to do this on my fullsize image but the graphic from here is too small!

Hey guys... im very nervous as its MOT time tomorrow Im pretty certain its gonna fail as the handbrake is more or less useless, so my question is what parts do i need in order to get it right? Are there brake shoes required or something? Does anyone know the part numbers, or a generic part i can get etc etc. Its for a JDM non-brembo. The other thing im fairly certain it will fail on is the headlight alignment, as i replaced the drivers headlight with a USA unit (£40 delivered, off eBay - bargain!). I have adjusted it to point as low and to the left as i can, but i dont know if its good enough. If it fails on that i'll have to swap it back to the UK unit i've still got - but the lens is clouded up so it might fail on that too! If it does i'll have to put them both in the oven and swap the lenses over ...so wish me luck... im not gonna sleep tonight!!

I think now is the time to buy to be honest... I would be suprised if zed prices dropped significantly more than they already have done. I bought an e46 bmw in 2006 just before the new shape coupe came out. I was expecting prices to reflect this a few months on but they didnt really. I think the potential owners of a £12-16k second hand zed are an entirely different market to those looking for a 370z. Also, with the current state of the world, i would question whether the economic problems will remain this severe... and if they dont the prices of the 350z could possibly rise slightly as consumer confidence returns? Sod it, just get it bought!
