  1. Welcome bud. Really like the bronze rims on that colour, is very different, but good.
  2. ...my point was that i shouldn't need to buy a clear lens as i can just take this red one off, and silicone round the unit (in the same way it already was). But Phil, i'll PM you about the bulbs tomorrow...
  3. Hey guys, Just an informational post incase anyone has the same problem i did - attached are a couple of pics of my JDM rear foglight. I failed my MOT lastweek as the foglight bulb was out, but when i tried to reach in and get to the bulb holder there wasnt one... and this is why: I had to pretty much take the rear bumper off to get this unit out - which was a PITA! However, as you can clearly see, the red lense can be easily removed which will smarten up the rear end. I think i'll be doing this next week, as i couldn't be bothered walking to town and finding a red bulb, and i already had a regular one
  4. Very true. They are ridiculously cheap over there.
  5. Hi mate, I use a small independent bodyshop called Western Motors in Macclesfield. They're very very good and i've used them 3 or 4 times, and also send all of my mates there, and they say they're great too! They are a father and son team, and they open at 5am till 2pm, which is ideal as you can drop it off before work in necessary. Whenever i go they always bring out the colour palette cards and we choose the best match together - as there are several mixes for a specific paint code. Price wise, they're cheaper than most as well, and they dont even advertise as they're always full up. I had the eyelids and intake duct or my zed sprayed there, which was £100 (quite expensive for them), but on my last bmw i had a nightmare dent on the front wing, and they drilled it and pulled it, plus resprayed it, aswell as the door to colour-match, and all that was £180. And you couldnt tell the difference! I honestly wouldn't trust my car to anybody else.
  6. You motorboating son of a bitch! That made me laugh.
  7. Sarnie, how come whenever i post a pic of my car showing my front LED's, which are identical to these, you slate the sh!t out of me/them??
  8. Hi James, i can get 31mpg out of mine if i drive it very very sensibly, which is no fun. However i usually get 330 miles out of £75, and i have fun most of the time! As for car tax - get a JDM (import) like a lot of people on here do, myself included. Most of these aren't affected by the tax rise as their Co2 output wasnt recorded when they were first imported. ...i'm still paying £185 for the year Lastly, i've come from a BMW background... i had an E46 328Ci before this, and i apent approx £1k in a year maintaining it... compared to about £50 i've spent on the zed. Its bulletproof.
  9. Same head unit as mine though... Pioneer Avic N1.
  10. They look very very nice pal The issue is caused by the change in rolling radius from the front to the back... i.e. the rear diameter may have been larger than the front before, but it may be the other way round now - which is what throws out the traction control.
  11. are you going to demonstrate the alcantara console ;-) TmJak will when he gets round to it... im waiting on the results of his before i do the same Is he doing it himself or getting someone to do it? I got some material on the way to wrap some of my interior, but wouldnt attempt the centre console as its a bit fiddly Getting a professional job done... as far as i know. What are you planning to wrap?? Just this and that. You'll see when I'm done as long as it doesnt go tits up

  13. Does that really work? There was no confirmation in the thread... I'd be worried bud, i'd say the tyre sizes are wrong... i would have thought you'd need a 30 profile on the front too. By chance, you didnt get these wheels from DP motorsport in scotland did you...? I got mine from them in July, and they were trying to force me to get the same tyres as you have, but in 19's, until i demanded they give me the same profile all round after reading about the rolling radium issues you're experiencing... Chris.
  14. How many have you got... there's only 4 of us... but yeh, im game.
  15. Blue lights in the clocks... i'd love that on mine.

  17. Wouldnt this look best with just a plain white background? The backdrop wont look good on a mug will it?? I'll have a go when i get home tonight if nobody beats me to it...
  18. I thought COD3 was good and wished some of the stuff was carried over to 4. From what I've heard so far it's very good and a excellent continution on from 4. For the record im on prestige 6 Tosser Having said that, i only ever played Team Deathmatch, until in August i realised you get 4 times as many points on Headquarters!! The time i've wasted...
  19. I lived on COD4 until about a month ago (3rd lvl prestige ) ... but im not sure im even gonna bother with COD5 - Trearch are making it rather than IW, as they did with COD3 and that sucked!! ...but i'll have a look though, cheers Mike! Chris. (currently glued to Fifa09)
  20. Hey Stan. Choice of two bulbs if iirc. Although no sure fire way to know which until you get the bulb out!! If it has hid headlights as you suggest, the bulb your require is a D2R, which the cheapest i've seen them for is £48ea from a local parts store. Nissan want over a hundred each i think! If it is standard bulbs, you're after an H7 i believe. As for finding out which bulb is fitted - can you compare the look of the headlight to yours when switched on? I've not really looked at the HID lights in action before, but thats probably your only option... As for the swap... good luck - the nights are drawing in now, and i dont think i'd have enough time for a bumper off job by the time i get home from work!
  21. all my search terms contained the word FOG! The fog light used to work but now doesnt, meaning its either the bulb or the fuse... dcash - can you hear a buzz when you switch yours on? Useful link though... will print it out for future reference!
  22. Thats my dilemma - i've had the brake light off, but there's no access to the foglight bulb. I can get to the indicator there, but im guessing cos it was an SVA frig, the unit doesnt have the standard bulb access - hence i need to take the bumper off... so in this case the fuse is easier to check!
