Possibly a faulty HID ballast??

I love the eyelids, but yep - just need the bonnet now. I didnt fancy the bonnet route so colour coded my lids instead.

Yep Van Der Sar. I cant fault them though - i know the tunnel he crashed in and its ace

+1 - it's a PITA. I gave up and bought a NISMO front bumper in the end! Seriously, do it yourself and remove the bumper. I tried to do it on the first side and it took me about 4 hours on one side without removing the bumper. So i took the bumper off for the otherside and i was all done in an hour!

Soooooo tempting, but im skint. Have just spent 45quid at the Trafford center on a KFC, some bits and bobs and the cinema... damnit i wish i'd stayed in.

Hmmm, i'll lend them my car then when i go on holiday Unfortunately, i've got about £750 of mods to do before my exhaust, so unless they can do me one for 200quid i cant justify it till later in the year...

That would lok good, i have been wondering about the possibility of doing something to the door handles, but have no idea if anything would look better than the silver on a sunset! U kidding? Didnt you see the guy with the sunset the other week, who had gloss black handles?? That was one of the coolest mods i've seen! Will try and find the link...

Okay, another quick one... Just looking at some HID bulbs on eBay, and it says: Arent our lights Projector headlights? Im 99% sure there's only one type of D2R bulb, i just dont want to throw away £28!

Meh. That was a waste of money. This Plastix stuff has done nothing! Im not even gonna bother posting pictures. Either that means the hazing is on the inside of the lens, or its just useless... I may be taking the headlight unit apart this weekend, so i'll try it on the inside then...

Hey guys, Im just taking a look at my spare JDM headlight as im looking to revert it back to HID from the regular bulb it uses now. I've sorted the wires out, but im stumped on how the bulb holder mounts onto the headlight...? I've got no idea. There is no bulb with my unit... the bulb itself doesnt have some kind of connector on it does it? Do you secure the bulb in under the clips and plug the power pack into the back of it????

How did the mustang compare to the zed? I've always liked the look of them...

Is it condensation or is it the plastic that has clouded up? Can you see water droplets? I have a spare headlight as it clouded up so i replaced it - and its not moisture. As it happens i bought some clear plastic cleaner at lunch today to see if it'll shift it, so i'll post before and after results tonight!

Ey up bud. JP's are who i was referring to in this thread - not saying anything in particular, thats just who i was gonna go to. http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic ... highlight= I've had a few mates go there and they build some quality kit. Its about half a mile from my house so i can go down and ask some questions if you want? But my thoughts were the same - surely an off the shelf, 350z specific exhaust would be better as its already been tailored to the zed and tested...?

Thinking about it, i could just put some body filler over the holes and smooth it off... if it doesnt work out, it'll be behind he number plate holder anyway wont it, so no one would ever see it...
