  1. Hi Dave, You can access both of the cogs with just the bonnet open. You need a long thin screwdriver and a torch to reach the bottom cog and see what you're doing - like an 8 inch screwdriver or something. I think there is a certain size posidrive which will fit it, but i did mine with a flat head. It takes about 5 minutes of rotating to get it to move very far, so dont give up on it! As far as i know, all lights have the adjustment cogs.
  2. Looks good mate. The strut cover. Not the bag. Im waiting for someone to do a gloss black attempt at the center console though...
  3. +1 Alot of things rely on the ACM Its a white box-unit behind the center console... would take about 45mins diy to swap it out if you can get a used module from a breakers. ...but i couldnt say if that is actually causing the problem.
  4. That looks cool. I love the street sleeper look. Welcome by the way mate... sure this isnt your car and you're trying to get some interest?
  5. Hi Mate. I bought a US-spec headlight for my UK zed, and it was angled to the right at first. The top cog on the lights is for height adjustment, and the bottom cog is for left to right. It takes a lot of turning to get it to adjust - park up about 6 feet from a wall and get adjusting - you'll see it moving gradually!
  6. I'll go against the consensus here - i cant stand audi's as i think they all look the same (apart from a white TTS i saw a few weeks ago, which had me waivering for a minute). But at least you've gone for the S model, which i will at least give some respect to...!
  7. Yeh, they were making me have 235/35/19 on the front and 255/30/19 on the rear Make sure you find out what sizes you need for 20's on here first, then tell them exactly what you want.
  8. Congrats mate. You know, the dryer and washing machine was the first thing i thought of when i saw the thread. So are you going to re-invest the winnings or quit while you're ahead?
  9. Mark, i got my wheels from them, and as i've mentioned on about 4 different occasions - their service was awful! Cant fault the wheels or value for money when they did arrive, but their customer service was shocking!! They kept telling me my wheels would be here in 2 to 3 days, and every time, they wouldnt arrive. In the end it took 6 WEEKS for them to arrive, and not once did they phone me - i even booked days off work to wait in for them, for them not to arrive. Also, they tried to force me to have some stupid tyre sizes which were wrong for the car, and twice i phoned up to check on the order status, and had to make them change my order to the tyre sizes i wanted. They really were awful! But knowing all that, i would use them again, cos they've got to be one of the cheapest suppliers out there, and they did come through eventually!!
  10. You should have battered him mate, and taken the clamp off while he's unconscious. Thats what i would have done - seriously. I cant stand wheel clamping bastards. Thats actually really pi55ed me off now mate, so i cant imagine how you feel.
  11. Yep, for me HoK Candy Apple, always loved that... but i really want to see a zed in BMW Estorill blue...
  12. Thats useful info - cheers Andy... I'll try and do this on my lunch hour at work tomorrow, and let you know
  13. ... i dont think i have any. I dont remember putting them on when i first fitted the wheels last august, and i definitely didnt put any on yesterday. Anyone know where to buy? Are they standard/generic?
  14. Hey... Yesterday i refitted my summer wheels having taken them off in November, but they're juddering like mad at 80+ mph. I can feel it starting at 75, but by 80mph i have to lift off - otherwise the fillings in my teeth will fall out! I got these wheels last august and drove with them for 3 months, but i never really got up to 80 on my daily commute, so never noticed the problem. But this week i've been going to the hospital to see my girlfriends mum every day and have been 'enjoying' the quiet motorways shall we say, and have had no problems at all. But after putting these wheels on yesterday, i literally cant go over about 85mph!! So this morning i went down to my mate at the garage and they re-balanced the wheels and adjusted the alignment slightly, but it's still awful. I've just read this thread below, and am also thinking spiggott rings, as i have no spacers, the wheels are balanced/aligned, the wheels/tyres are perfect, and i've seen other people with the same wheels as these. Does anyone know how/where i can get the right spiggott rings?? http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic ... ght=judder Has anyone got any other ideas??

  19. i hope the new software maintains the same look and feel as much as possible - i think this is definitely the most user-friendy forum i have been on, and is perhaps the main reason it does so well i think.
