  1. I was looking at them too... ar they non-standard or oem?? Other than that, i love the car!!
  2. surely his fuel consumption is worse than a ford bronko Air con on or off you will bearly notice a difference bud I've got to disagree... My fuel consumption has been shocking all winter, and i've had my AC on the whole time... was down at 17.2mpg for like 3 months in a row, then i decided to turn my ac off, and my mpg shot up to 23mpg straight away. I kind of tested this a while back as its been brought up before and did'nt notice any real difference for me to think "@*!# better turn that off". Dont know why it'd make a difference but perhaps cos mines a tiptronic its slightly different? Mine was genuinely a day and night difference in terms of economy when switching the AC off...!
  3. 6000k relates to the colour of the light the bulb emits, not its power... as far as i know there is only 1 type of D2R bulb, which you can buy in many different colour 'temperatures'. I have 8000k in mine for a blue tinge. It really does sound like your ballasts mate... I think your only options are: 1. buy some new bulbs - purely to rule out defective bulbs now... can get them for £30 delivered for a pair. 2. if that fails, either convert your lights to non-hid so that you use only regular bulbs, or buy an after market hid kit for < £50 and fit those instead. 3. if you want oem... then see if you can buy some hid ballasts from a breakers, but they wont be cheap...
  4. Get bec's to bake us a batch for saturday bud
  5. its worth going to a third party motor factors if you can find one locally...? Im sure they'll do them for peanuts.

  7. Here you go mate... http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic ... im+removal
  8. +1 CS is right... But cant you get brand new zeds for that price now..?
  9. If he gets anywhere near that i'll put up mine which i took off on saturday
  10. Few places doing them I think.Definately not plus vat http://www.motorprovider.co.uk/proddeta ... _WRX_Hatch Theres another. Hideous cars the new impreza's. Granted the zed is a little long in the tooth now, but its still pretty exclusive, unlike impreza's. I just picture knobs in their late 20's wearing basball caps driving impreza's... (sorry )
  11. Wheels should be balanced fine... they only did a few hundred miles after originally fitting them, then i had them re-balanced last week and it was just the same. Might try somewhere else ina couple of weeks. Neil - yes mate - tyre sizes should be fine. I've got what everyone else has - 245/35/19 and 275/35/19. If they have been re-balanced at the same place, it could be that their machine hasn't been calibrated properly....it's the only logical explanation unless you are looking at a buckled wheel but that would flag up even on an incorrectly calibrated machine. Aside from that, I am stumped! Sorry mate! Nope. 2 diferent places unfortunately... I'll put it down to cheapo wheels

  13. Sorry - how come everyone's saying its high maintenance?? I've not had a single problem with mine in 18months (touch wood). And in comparison to a boxster im sure its a bargain to maintain!
  14. I wasnt really paying attention but you waved - dont know if i waved back in time for you to see me
  15. This is a difficult situation for all involved. I dont know what to suggest, except for everyone to remain patient. I can fully sympathise with Andrew and family as my girlfriend and i have this month been through the exact same thing with her mum (albeit with a quicker outcome, unfortunately). That said, fair's fair, and you guys really need to get refunded - but as Phil's still hanging in there im sure its very difficult to get access to his accounts. Hope all goes well.
  16. Get some insurance quotes before you commit to buy - you might be surprised what it costs
  17. Is that really your plate?? Thats mint! I love the front wings bud.
  18. Ok - Thanks Andy for sorting the spigot rings for me. I fitted them on Saturday, and unfortunately my wheels are still wobbling very badly, albeit now at 90mph rather than 85! So there is a slight improvement! Guess i'll just have to live with it then... but at least it'll keep me on the right side of the law
  19. You do track days dont you Dan... do you know what db level the K1 + JWT gives...? Im going to book another drift day soon and dont want to pay and then get there and not be allowed on!
  20. Very nice mate. Make sure that your interior light switch is set to the right position - this means it will come on with the doors... it took me a couple of days to figure that out when i got mine.
  21. Steve, Please put me down for this - including the 50% discount you offered after i couldnt make the last one...! When do you need payment by...? Cheers Chris.
