Cheers CS. Im on the drift day at Oulton Park next Saturday, so havent put the spacers on yet... but have got the following Monday booked off work to do a full detail, so will be fitting them then.

Hey guys... Thought i'd neaten up my brakes this weekend with a bit of paint. I think they must have originally been silver, but they were so scruffy looking they needed re-doing. I had originally planned to do them gloss black, as i dont particularly want to show off my 'small packages', but i had almost a full tin of red caliper paint left from when i did the lip on my wheels... so i thought i'd give them a few coats of that... So, armed with some brake cleaner and a wire brush, i scrubbed them down and covered them in paint! This was not intended to be a propper smart job - i didnt use any wet dry paper on them etc... i just wanted to stop them flaking everywhere. They were very badly pitted and you can see that up close - but the thick glossy paint masks it fairly well. I would have loved to spend ages doing them properly, but i was getting stick from the missus Anyway, here's some pics... i think i'll order some black nissan decals from rtbiscuit to see how they look with those on! (and yes i know i need tyre dressing, and next big mod is lowering... and i already have my spacers sat here to go on before wales )

Thats a good idea for a forum section, or at least a thread: Your previous modified car pics...! Would make some interesting viewing, im sure!

I think it doesn't let you post over 800pixels high. 1024x768 is width x height. If you have a photo in portrait, i guess photobucket still thinks its 800x600 but the other way around. Then the forum doesnt let you post it. I find this very annoying like you! I think allowing 1024x800 would solve the issue...?

Welcome mate. I hope the zed doesnt end up being a bad luck car for you. My bmw before the zed was a bad luck car - the day i was supposed to pick it up i crashed my trade-in car on the way to the garage. Got it all fixed and traded in (all be it a grand out of pocket), and then 4 days later a roof tile blew off and landed on my new car! 300quids worth of damage, not covered by insurance...! Add to that about 15 other ailments in the 11 months i had the car and i couldn't wait to get rid...! So i just hope this isnt the same for you!!

No problem mate. Look for Finichi Firenze rims. A few people on here have them, and traders can supply them. They're more expensive than the Wolfrace, with similar looks - but they are a far superior wheel.

I've booked a day off work and will be giving it a full detail... clay/polish/wax etc. Also - i've yet to come up with any ideas to make my paddle shift kit into something decent, so i need to put some thought into that at some point - before people start laughing!

Quick one Rob... may be a daft question but... Im sure i read somewhere that if you're on a club pitch then you cant leave till 6pm on the sunday. Does that mean we'd be blocked in, and therefore wouldn't be able to get on track too...?

For an example of offsets of these wheels, see the pics below. The first pic is the standard JDM wheels. The second pic is the wolfrace sharks @ +35. You can see the improvement. But still dont but them if you enjoy driving! They are all show and no go..!
