  1. I love guns too. Gilly, yes i would have them if they were legal over here. I shot a 357 Magnum and a 9mm pistol i'd never heard of last year in the states... and brought the targets back with me... The best i can do over here is a 4.5mm metal bb co2 PPK. Double action with blowback, full metal construction... i love it. I've recently found a shop in Manchester selling co2 pistols too (i thought they were illegal now, but obviously not). Had them all out in the shop for me and i was feeling the weight of them... there was a Beretta M92F for £345 which was immense... but too heavy. Disappointingly a co2 Glock 17 doesnt exist else i'd have bought it right there... but im very tempted by what they had... i think i'll be getting on early next year.
  2. Well... we're skipping christmas this year, for several reasons - none of them good. So no presents, no family do's, no christmas dinner. Its all very depressing Just bought myself 1 present this morning though... £25 delivered off eBay not including bag! Bargain! Am sat here watching Die Hard 2 and the missus is still in bed. Have a good day all, i hope you get what you want.
  3. I know what you mean about the brakes... i had a 1.0 Micra earlier this week while my zed was having a p3... fun little car but my god, i almost died the first time i put the brakes on.
  4. So... are aero wipers the floppy flat ones? If so, i got some about 4 months ago off ebay. 9 quid delivered for a pair, and they do the job perfectly. I couldnt justify paying the 30quid that halfords wanted
  5. Some say that he sucks the moisture out of ducks, and that he invented november... all im wondering is, is this the Stigs face??!! This scene is in the wind tunnel near the end of episode 2 of the current series... i saw it on another forum. Speculation is that its just a viral thing created by TG to get us talking... but its pretty cool!
  6. Ha ha... still want to see that. Cant u write to them or something for the footage?
  7. I'm sure your right but I've realised after I bought it (as I usually do!!) that football games played on your own against the computer are not my thing. I knew that before I bought it Why arent you online? I've not even played single player yet - no joke. I just do ranked online matches, and it always puts you against someone of equal skill level, resulting in epic 4-3 thrillers etc. There's no actual point to that game mode - you dont progress anywhere... but the fun had from these games is enough to keep me playing.
  8. Am i the only one who loves Schumacher? I HATED him when he was winning, beating Hakinen in the late 90's... but when Alonso started winning i changed my mind and started supporting him. I think he should be respected by the other drivers, and as big a Lewis supporter i am, i hope Schumacher teaches him a thing or two!
  9. Im at home.. but i was so pi$$ed off on Friday. It was my works xmas doo, which i wasnt going to, and my boss sent an email round saying everyone who was going could leave at 2.30pm- everyone else had to wait till 5.30pm. So i was annoyed i couldnt go anyway, and then punished again for the privelage. tw@t.
  10. Give Fifa a go Liam, its by a long shot the best football game ever made (apart from ISS98 on the N64!).
  11. I think attachments are limited to 2MB arent they? You need a free file hosting site... never used them personally but google it.
  12. marzman

    Seats wanted!

Does coops still have the wheel for sale too? I'd be getting that too!
  13. I cant remember where i saw it but Clarkson was interviewed saying this South America jaunt took far longer than expected, and they had no material at all when they got back... so had to throw the show together. May be a bullsh!t excuse, or could be true Either way, i watch it in iPlayer nowadays and just skip the boring bits!
  14. ...but if they just waited till 9am when most people are at work
  15. Dont the buttons on the right hand side of the speedo alter the brightness of the instruments?? Anyway welcome Dave... you better not be one of the tractor driving farmers If you are... do you people have a forum? And if you do, TELL THEM TO STAY OFF THE ROADS BEFORE 9AM!!!!!!!! Every damn day i get the same few tractors holding up a mile of traffic at 8.50am...
  16. Very common problem mate. I have a replacement waiting to go on this weekend on mine. There's usually a back box and midpipe for sale for about £100 round here at any given time...
  17. I was going to take the paddle shift out... while it works perfectly and feels oem, it looks a bit naff and would put people off i think. I think it'd put me off buying it... Simon+Kat... HUD was from eBay but i think they're quite rare
  18. Yep... that is really good advice. Cheers Liam. I'll ammend the ad this evening. Didnt wanna fork out for new tyres, but i'll just increase my price a bit
  19. That sounds good to me Stan... you know i'll be there...! and i'll be able to drift a bit better in the costco car park now im back in a manual again
  20. Cheers Stew. Yep, the parts will be changed this weekend and i'll update the add to reflect then. As for the pictures... with the current weather i dont get a chance to take a picture that would help sell the car
  21. I've edited my original for sale thread and lowered the price now that i've removed my mods. -------------------------------------------------------------------- For sale is my 2003 JDM Tiptronic 350z Coupe in Blade silver. This car was imported in 2003 from new, and had 4 former keepers until i bought it in 2007. When i got it, it had 35k miles on the clock, and it is now on 65k miles. These are all genuine UK miles. It has the carbon Cloth seats that grip you brilliantly and do not get uncomfortably hot/cold like leather seats do. The brake's are non-brembo, however, in the last 3 months i have uprated them to use Endless pads all round, Goodridge stainless steel braided lines, and DBA grooved and vented front discs at a total cost of just over £700. Other modifications include colour coded intake duct and eyelids, clear rear fog light housing with red LED bulb, boot cargo-net, 350z mats, and uprated 8000k HID bulbs. I have attended many 350z meets and have been an active member of http://www.350z-uk.com - the uk owners club. A photo of my car appeared in Banzai magazine recently on the annual forum meet. During the time i've owned it, i've not had a single mechanical issue with the car. The engines are bullet proof, and nissan reliability is excellent. On 20th Dec the it had a full P3 service which is the most expensive and comprehensive service the car will need. This means that the next service will not be needed for another 9k/12 months and that will be a P1 which is the cheapest, therefore no expensive service costs for a few years. The next P3 is not due for another 36k/4yrs! In addition, i have just had a full exhaust system from a 21k 2006 car fitted, as well as a pair of rear anti-roll bar end links, so lots of cost free motoring ahead! Taxed till end of March 2010, and MOT till end of Oct 2010. Following the recent money spent on the brakes, the exhaust/ARB-link replacement and the P3 service (Just over £1100 in 3 months) i think £9000ono is a very fair asking price, as you will have trouble free motoring for quite a while. Thanks Chris.
  22. Not zedless yet mate... another month or 2 yet probably. Will be for sale after xmas.
