  1. For anyone else looking at this thread - the spacer nut was removed by tapping an 18mm hexagonal socket over the rounded nut. This gave enough grip to shift it. Also, CS can get replacement nuts if needed.
  2. Hey bud, only just seen this... yes the wheels are on and are fine. Cheers matey Speedy - the head up display will be off the car and up for sale this weekend - so a few more pics to see.
  3. Some of those were really good. The best one was when the guy started breakdancing and the dog went flying in the air.
  4. People that havent been using your zeds... have you been out and started them? Mine's been sat for 4 days and i tried to start it last night but the battery has gone. Im guessing the extreme cold has caused this.
  5. Hmmm... i think the temperature is now the problem, not the snow We just had the washing machine on, and the missus just heard a trickling sound, and we ran to the kitchen and the whole sink was overflowing and dripping down the cupboards... i went outside and the grid was clear, but i put my finger up the whole (!) and the washing machine outlet pipe had frozen over!!! All the washing machine water came back into the house.
  6. i may need this off you (but probably not)... i'll let you know on saturday... Im trying to remove mine and one of the nuts has rounded on there so i cant get it off... so the garage is removing it for me at the weekend. If they damage it, i'll take yours off you if its still available!
  7. Word.
  8. Yes it will... but if you just buy a tub of exhaust putty and wodge it on there (technical term) then it'll get through fine. I did this.
  9. just cos you're jealous!!
  10. Thats ace!!
  11. Here's me hooning around on my lunch... i cant get any speed up though so its all a bit
  12. We had 7 inches of snow last night. I dont know what all the fuss is about. I got to work and only 3 others turned up...! In the whole building of 120 people, there were only 15 of us in... so we had a mass snowball fight. The boss emailed in and let us leave early, so i was drifting round our car park on my own for 20mins... it was fantastic. (and glad im in my bmw now and not the zed!) Someone made a MASSIVE snowman too...!
  13. Figure out if you can invert the image and then mount the monitor so that it reflects onto your windscreen for a head up display.
  14. Good man Although what Mike probably meant is its easier (on your knuckles) to swap them with the bumper off...
  15. This may spoil it for some, but the guy who voices the meerkat is Michael off Alan Partridge - the ex-soldier with a thick Geordie accent!
  16. Love these wheels.
  17. I'll be able to tell you next week mate. Ive got a UK backbox waiting to go on mine... should be next sunday hopefully.
  18. Yep, mine is.
  19. At last... i finally managed to get it off (thats for you beavis ) I bought some 'Shock & Unlock' from Halfords, which on its own didnt work, but with a kettle of hot water it was just enough to get it to move slightly, and then i could lever it off with a screwdriver. I hate stuff like that Spacer and hub are both fine too
  20. The forum can help in many areas but not in the above i am afraid It may help if you get a block of wood put it against the spacer and give it a gentle tap with a hammer Oh i dont know Dave... what about you and Louie? Tried the wood and the persuader - no joy.
  21. Hey All... Quick one... im removing my spacers and i cant get one of them off! I've removed the nuts so it should just be free to come off, but it wont budge. I've covered it in wd40 but still no joy... any suggestions? I last had it off in October, so its not like its been on there for ages! Help!
  22. You wouldnt be the guy who's just emailed me about my car on eBay asking the exact same question would you?
  23. Yes you can. You need to buy an HKS Speed Limit Defencer. They're about £250.

I think the license plate holder is from Swift Motorsports. I've been looking at making one myself... all i need is a linear actuator. Possibly my next project. http://www.swiftmotorsports.com/product ... ts_id=3922
