It was about 3 or 4 straight drag races and every one we were equal up to about 90 and then i started to pull away very slightly. I was impressed with it

yes - they wont be able to see the session only the fact that you are using it (they cant see web pages you browse remotely) This will only work if port 2200 is enabled on the firewall, or port 3389 for RDP session I've been using logmein to home for the last month from work, as i got a new work PC with loads of web monitoring software that 'coaches' the website's i visit. i just wanted to check it wasnt a futile exercise.

Does using logmein to your home PC work... i.e. stop them monitoring what you view?

Payment made, sold and in the post etc - awaiting delivery Question is - from what I can tell, most people wire these up to the side-lights, but where is the easiest place to wire them up so they come on when the engine is on but without having the sidelights on? (so they are on all the time the engine is running, regardless of lights, night or day) ...i took my sidelight bulbs out when i had these, so just the leds were on at the front... but it did mean by rear lights were on, but no biggie?

My fiance(!) has a friend over this weekend and she's not seen any of these films... so we've just finished the hangover, and are 15mins into Pineapple express. Superbad is next on and then we've got Without a paddle... has that been mentioned yet? Good film too.

Thanks again all. Zed is being sacrificed for other reasons unfortunatley, but hopefully only short term. We were slowly telling family, but one of her auntie's has posted a picture of me on Joelle's facebook wall and said 'congrats to the new couple'... so Joelle's phone is ringing off the hook now. Thanks all. Joelle's just group-txt everyone in her phone book so we're working our way through the messages. I dont feel like a grown up yet - that's why i think im embarrassed. I've told most of my family now and they're all very happy. Apparently they've all been talking for the last 3 years about why we're not engaged yet, so this will shut them up And Unbashed - i am a romantic person, but i think a proposal on a large scale is difficult to do when you've been together a while? Maybe im just a wimp

... This evening i... officially got engaged to my girlfriend! There was none of that romantic proposal rubbish though... i kind of half heartedly asked her at the weekend and she said yes, and then we went out and picked a ring earlier in the week, and it was resized for collection today. It wasnt a big expensive one - just a few hundred, but with the promise that i'll get her a propper one when she goes back to work. She likes this one though and says its fine. We've been together 6.5 years, since we were 19, but im still embarrassed to tell my family. I haven't told any of my friends yet, and probably wont. ...So its now official *Gulp*

Horrible, horrible day! Funny yesterday, i had an urgent call from one of our customers that they couldnt process credit card transactions. I logged into their system and it didnt look like there were any problems, so i phoned them back asking for more info and they said 'Well, there was a major gas explosion in the area yesterday which took out a load of telephone lines, do you think that could be related?'

He is looking for a backbox though - which i have everything but Cheers anyway.
