  1. Yeh - dont do it. Its bloody difficult!! Easiest bet is to use a heatgun - like a paint stripper, and a flat blade screwdriver. But the glue they are held toegther with is like tar, and it is really manky stuff.... it is not something i'd like to do again in a hurry.
  2. Val should have entered... he'd have surely won it with his tribal decals... Any news on mexico?
  3. Ha ha... even Rik got in with that white monster. Your car is shiiiiiit wayne!
  4. Have seen a few 3d movies now, and Avatar is the only one i'd recommend. Infact, Avatar was maybe the best thing i've ever seen at the cinema. Totally fantastic. As for the TV's at home.... i can see them going out of fashion very quickly. I was reading into the tech recently - there are currently 2 technologies being brought to market: 1. Have a kind of ridged lens on the tv, making it display alternate lines of a left and right picture. This will mean glasses are not required, but the viewing angle is very poor 2. Have glasses that have a lens over each eye that closes and opens in time with the refresh rate of your tv... i.e. the shutters closing 100 times a second. They will alternate each eye, and at the same time, display the left frame and then the right frame on the tv. I can see this working - but it will give you a serious headache i would have thought!!
  5. You'll be reet mate... grit your teeth and bare it...
  6. TVR's dont bother me at all... what i really really really really cant stand to see is god damn SCOOBY's......... They are fugly cars, and they are all baseball cap wearing tools. That is all.
  7. Sorry guys, Sold to Firebee pending payment.
  8. Is it only at idle or when driving too? It could be the heater core matrix... search for that too...
  9. Hi, For sale is my radar detector. I bought this on here from M350ZB about a year ago. It plugs into the cigarette lighter. Included are 2 different mounts - a windscreen mount with suction cups and a sun visor mount. It is a Sensoro Silver Bullet. £20 incl delivered. PM secures.
  10. PM ZMANALEX - pretty sure he can beat that price
  11. Creaking is the symptom of droplink, not knocking and banging. Could be knackered bushes...
  12. There is loads of space at the main gates at Oulton, although people may be queueing to get in. How about Tarporley Garden Center (CW6 9EE) - it is directly opposite the main turn to Oulton Park (which is in the middle of nowhere), so will save people getting lost. Assuming people are coming from down south and getting off at middlewich, i think this would be a good plan. Is only 3mins from Oulton Park too.
  13. I was driving along a lovely dual carriageway on the way home from JDM Allstars on saturday at a reasonalble pace lets say, when 2 997 C4S's came out of nowhere and left me for dead!! They were racing each other and were insanely fast. I had my foot flat on the floor, and had a good run, and they just passed me like i wasnt even there. By the time i got to the next roundabout, i couldnt even see them!
  14. 100% agree - L&G are very good, and very cheap. Courtesy car available too.
  15. +1 - it makes little or no difference.
  16. It took about 12 hours to make them so wasnt worth all that effort Also, the LED's came out quite a dark orange colour.
  17. Just spotted these on eBay bud... If you want to bid on them i can do the LED's for you... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Nissan-350Z-Front ... 2eac6ad50b
  18. Hey all, With extreme disappointment my zed is for sale (again). Im currently in the middle of a very costly legal process trying to marry my fiancee who is from Africa. We had an interim legal bill on Friday which was £2k more than we were expecting, which has eaten up around 6 months of contingency we had in our finances Therefore i've had to put my zed up for sale to cover it... I wont be going anywhere though, and will be back with a zed if all goes well and the other half can go back to work again... On Autotrader and eBay now too. ---------------------------------------------------- For sale is my 2003 JDM Tiptronic 350z Coupe in Blade silver. This car was imported in 2003 from new, and had 4 former keepers. I have owned it for over 2.5yrs. When i got it, it had 35k miles on the clock, and it is now on 66k miles. These are all genuine UK miles. It has the carbon Cloth seats. The brake's are non-brembo but have been uprated to use Endless pads all round, Goodridge stainless steel braided lines, and DBA grooved and vented front discs at a total cost of just over £700, in Oct 2009. Other modifications include colour coded intake duct and eyelids and uprated 8000k HID bulbs. It has a pioneer head unit with motorised screen, which includes sat-nav and various digital displays (MPH, G-Force etc). I have attended many 350z meets and have been an active member of http://www.350z-uk.com - the uk owners club. A photo of my car appeared in Banzai magazine recently. During the time i've owned it, i've not had a single mechanical issue with the car. The engines are bullet proof, and nissan reliability is excellent. In Dec 09 it had a full P3 service which is the most expensive and comprehensive service the car will need. This means that the next service will not be needed for another 9k and that will be a P1 which is the cheapest. The next P3 is not due for another 36k/4yrs! Taxed until April 2011, MOT until Oct 2010. Circumstances force very reluctant sale. --------------------------------------------------------- and spare a thought for me... as this is now my car...
  19. Almost forgot... i put a spotted card on Val's car... Chris has a picture of it somewhere...
  20. What can I say, that's just how I roll Love it. Good to meet you bud.
