SORN it then. You can do it online now so it's not like it takes an immense amount of effort to do it really. Honestly, I'm not sure the DVLA should take any hits on this one as, useless as they can be at time, at least they're trying to do something. I have a major flaw with this plan... Last year i owned a drift car which was road legal, and i kept it taxed, but not insured. I kept it on my driveway and only insured it for 1-day at a time when i had a drift day booked, at a cost for £25 for the day. I did 7 drift days last year... Now with this plan, i have to either pay about £400 for insurance for the year, or declare it sorn, and try to tax it for 1 day a month, which im sure is not going to be possible... There must be loads of other people with this type of situation too...

Can anyone clarify what this means please? If someone nicks my wheels, will Admiral only pay for some standard rims to go back on? If someone nicks my zed, will Admirla only give me the value of a zed without a full, factory fitted nismo kit? ...slightly concerning...

Hi All, Im just getting some quotes for the modified zed im buying next weekend, and with all mods listed, im getting a ridiculously good price!! With my previous zed, the cheapest quote i could get for this year was £1200, with no mods. With Admiral multicar, i've just got a quote for another zed with Alloy wheels, bodykit, exhaust, interior changes, uprated brakes, air filter mods and regular business use, and its only £735!!! That's insane. I've also added a second car for my missus to drive (she's only on a provisional license, currently learning) with me as a second driver using it for occasional business use, and they only want £525 for that one... so £1260 fr the 2 cars!! Thats incredible. The only minor concern i have at the moment is after filling in the list of mods for mine, it said the value of the mods is not covered, and the car is just covered to return it back to standard should i have an accident. Is this normal? Anyone else got any experience with Admiral??

Hi all... Well after being forced to sell my zed last year i have been deliberating for the last 3 months on whether to get another one, or get a sensible diesel. Well, i've finally made the decision and im going to get another zed So, im not ready for one yet (Need the missus to go back to full time work - she's only temping at the moment), but when she's sorted i will be looking to get one asap. My only requirements are that it is azure, has brembos, cruise control, less than 75k miles, and is under £10k. Id ideally like something already modified (so i dont have to start all over again!), but that would be a bonus. I'd prefer an import/automatic, but the chances of finding this spec is very slim So if anyone's thinking of selling soon please keep me in mind - i'd be willing to travel for the right car too.

These are my favourite wheels, but why get them in 20"? I personally think 20's look a bit daft, they make the car look like a roller skate! Also, be prepared for them to wreck how your car handles... i went from 17's to 19's on my zed, but pretty soon swaped back to the 17's, as you lose all accuracy on the steering, and they basically ruin the sporty feeling of the car...

Massive +1. I go and watch United when i can (about 5 times a season), regardless of whether its on tv or not. But it annoys the hell out of me that i cant watch them on tv when they have a 3pm kick off. What absolute bollocks. My Dad lives in the states, and he gets to watch it on tv over there - its a joke.
