  2. Where have you been Chris...? Long time no post...!! Dont think i've spoken to you since Wales '09? Leather looks great mate.
  3. This is why insurance is higher if you say you keep your car in a garage nowadays... so many people do this!
  4. £1500 - bargain...!! I paid £2550 my first year when i was 23, and that was 4 years ago! Welcome mate... im up the road in macclesfield...

    Ashtray

Take it out and go round it with black electrical tape a few times, and push it back in... thats should pad it out a bit...
  6. Awesome... I've been to Texas 5 or 6 times (i forget) as my Dad lived there for 13 years until recently... He lived in Austin, which is an awesome city - i definitely recommend it. 6th Street is a very good night out for Live music etc, and the people are all so friendly. If you make it to Austin, i recommend a restaurant called 'Chuys' (pronounced Chew-ies) - they do the BEST Tex-Mex food... Steak Burrito with green Chilli sauce, and some frozen margheritas... amazing. George Bush's daughter got arrested in there once for drinking alcohol under the age limit! Actually, i've just looked them up, and they have a few restaurants throughout the state... http://www.chuys.com/#/locations My Dads moved to upstate new york now so im going there for xmas, but im definitely going to miss the Lone Star State...
  7. Any garage will be able to read it - its just a standard ODB2 connector in the drivers footwell. You could even buy a reader off ebay for under £30 and read it yourself...
  8. Looking good Ryan... The photoshop looks mint, go with that scheme in gloss. It would also look good on a canvas...
  9. Better Your first picture made me laugh though... its like you took it from far away so we couldnt see it in detail... How much did the painting set you back?
  10. She may have done I took her for a driving lesson on friday, and she stalled it about 12 times - and then after that it wouldnt go in gear at all... I think the slave cylinder which is located in the gearbox has gone, as the clutch isnt doing anything when i press the pedal. However im lucky though as the dealer i bought it from is having it repaired..
  11. How many miles has your car done JAP350Z? I cant say i've ever read about a head gasket failure...
  12. I hate iPods... That iTunes is the worst piece of software i've ever used in my life. I cant get music on my iphone its so shite - and i was a computer programmer so i know what im doing with a PC...
  13. So far over my 2 zeds i've had several sets of wheels tyres... here's my opinions on them... Bridgestone RE040A's... Very loud for road noise, reasonable dry frip but not so good in the wet. Bridgestone RE050's... better than the re040's in all respects. Avon Z33's... Good name (for the car), and i was very impressed with the tyre. Reasonable levels of grip, but what i liked the most was that they broke away from grip in a very predictabe manner, making good fun 'frift' tyres... Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymetrics... have these on my 19's currently and all i can say is 'Wow'. The car is basically glued to the road in the dry and wet - absolutely fantastic tyres.
  14. +1 most new after market stereos nowadays offer a usb input for a HDD or USB Pen Drive... I've got an 8GB Pen drive in mine and its great.
  15. You'll need to check what type of bulb-holder you have before purchasing anything... On my previous JDM zed, i had a halfords red light box hacked into my indicator cluster, so it wasnt a standard-fit Nissan bulb, if you get my drift...
  16. Woohoo...!!! Thats my first ever spotted. I was running late today... i usually pass there at 5.55pm Although im usually in my black Fiesta, but its in for some work this week.
  17. Great pics... F40 i my fave car, and the Gran Turismo is my favourite modern car... Doc - great story - i didnt know there was an LM edition.
