  1. There's a chance i might be up for this... Do you have any more info other than the email address? Also - i have a work colleague with an Impreza who may be interested... is this just for RX8's and 350z's, or are other cars welcome too? Thanks.
  2. In fairness, that's what i should have done on mine... I spent £700 getting my brakes replaced with uprated parts, when i could have found a set of brembos for not much more...
  3. Yep i had slotted/drilled DBA's on my previous non-brembo zed. I think they were around £325 a pair from memory, but it was a couple of years ago now...
  4. I'm gutted about this... I have Sky Sports HD anyway so it doesnt really affect me, but the broadcast team the BBC have got together is fantastic. I really enjoy watching Jake, DC and Eddie, and Martin and DC's commentary is top notch. I really dont want to lose that.
  5. ...and the Norris is scared of Jack Bauer...
  6. Sorry to bring up my old post, but i thought i'd share the pics below... i finally got round to attaching my Ryu printout to my arcade machine tonight... i think it finishes it off nicely
  7. Great guide pal, and looks good too. Just need the fitted pics now...
  8. ...they wont be fine if it's a bit wet though... i did a sprint day in some 1.6mm tyres, and the car was all over the place.
  9. Surely it'd be mighty tricky to cover those tiny letters without hiding other parts of the calipers? Or am I missing something? ...uuummm get a new brembo sticker...?
  10. Offset has not got much do to with the clearing of the brembo's. It is more of the design of the wheels. You will have to place the wheels on the studs and measure the gap and then that will be the size spacer required. The offset is the distance from the center of the wheel that it is mounted onto the hub. See the image below:
  11. If you can make it down to cheshire to oulton park, i can highly recommend a drift what you brung drift day on their drift course (highly polished tarmac - very slippy technical circuit). I'm actually there with MSV on saturday - i bought an old bmw last week specifically for drifting. It's definitely the most fun i've ever had...
  12. Happens to pretty much all zeds mate - do a search, been discussed many times. It's only whilst the gearbo is cold, so if you can avoid those gears whilst its warming up you'll be fine. Alternatively, if you go from fourth into neutral, release the clutch and then press it again and go from neutral to fifth, that should stop the crunch too (i.e. double press the clutch..)
  13. There's got to be some fancy dress involved in there too... We all went out as Umpa Lumpa's for my mates stag do last year... was the best night i've ever had! Played a few games too - Grenade was the best - where one person is the grenade master, and if he shouts grenade you all have to dive on the floor immediately, regardless of where you are.
  14. I'll never complain about the price of fuel again having driven in europe last month... paying upto 1.70 euro's a litre for regular. I was excited to fill it up at £1.42 for super again in the UK ... but this £35Million will be nothing in comparison to what they lost last year with the spill...
  15. Lloyd Christmas, lol. Looks cool. That ships a bit of a beast isnt it??
  16. I think it looks great. I think the wheels are excellent and i like the colour. Bodykit could be better but am liking everything else.

Having said that, i did paint one of the sets black with a red lip around them, and sold them for £260 over on driftworks...

I have bought and sold 3 sets of these in the past for my previous zed, and the values have always been £100 incl delivery.
  19. Cool. I drove donnington a couple of weeks ago at Japfest... it's a fun quick track. I only had a 15 minute session but my brakes were spot on. (DBA grooved/drilled discs all round, braided lines etc). Good time though - i only managed about 1:35 but it was my first track time ever.
  20. Really like that I think some Nismo rear spats would really finish it off...
  21. I would definitely list it for £1500 more than an equivalent non-nismo kitted zed. The nismo kitted zed is probably the most desireable zed to buy on the used market, as people may be looking for one specifically (me for example, 6 months ago ).
  22. That would be some dedication for sure, hehe. Naw, I was over in Germany for 12 days, mainly attending a wedding and after the wedding was done I thought "The Ring isn't that far away, so why not" ah cool, not AS cool but cool enough I drove all the way there and back from Manchester last month in 36 hours... that left me a 4 hour window at the track... great fun
  23. Welcome mate. Whats your car history, given that you've had 6 this year? Anything else good? and
  24. Welcome mate... 28.5mpg.... i think you car's broke, it should be more like 18.5...
