  1. CS in Leicester arent too far from you... they are a trader on here and are very highly recommended (i.e. worth the trip).
  2. News to me... i didnt know US zeds could do this...!
  3. Mine was factory fitted and there is about an inch between the tips and the boot! Must be the difference between model years and possibly JDM vs UK.
  4. My Nismo spoiler was factory fitted and has foam under the tips...
  5. Feel any gains from the plenum spacer buster?
  6. Couldnt tell you im afraid... if you search for Nurrish Sat Nav on here - thats what i have. It was already in my car when i bought it, i just ended up removing/refitting it as i broke it - and i never measured it...
  7. You'll need to remove the PCB and screen from the housing it comes in. Then put double sided tape around the inside of the cubby, and attach the screen to that. Then mount the PCB onto the back of that screen, or make a bracket for it etc... However please be aware - the device in the ebay link i provided - i dont know if thats the right one to use... you should measure the cubby size to see what screen size you need...
  8. Never mind, just googled it: http://www.mclaren.com/page/vodafone-vi ... son-button
  9. bump, this weekend Anymore info on this??? Sounds very interesting
  10. It would be a case of completely dismantling it and sticking the screen behind the cubby, and mounting the circuit board behind that. Then you'd need to butcher the power lead and wire that into the +/- of the stereo. 3 hours work if you know what you're doing... (and a roll of double sided tape!) Mine looked like this:
  11. You're the man Never pressed that button before - i must have knocked it whilst fitting the sat nav today...
  12. Have you thought about something like this? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-7-Car-GPS ... 2eb583839f This is basically what a Nurrish sat-nav is... buy it, dismantle it, and fit it into your cubby. Looks a bit scary when you see it mounted behnd your dash with exposed circuitboards etc, but it looks OEM.
  13. So my JDM has the tilting mirrors option where you put it into reverse and the mirrors tint downwards so you can see your wheels (very useful for my Volks ) About 3 months ago they stopped auto-tilting and i had no idea why. However today i re-fitted my Nurrish Sat-Nav which i removed (probably 3 months ago!) as i thought i'd broken it. But after refiitting it today they suddently started auto-tilting again!! So it would appear that they are linked to the Sat-Nav which obviously isnt the case... i must have disturbed a connection somewhere... i was just wondering what that connection was
  14. This Apple fanboy / anti-Apple shite really gets on my nerves (not this thread, i mean it's everywhere). I HATE apple products... i hate style over substance, i detest iTunes (worst application on the planet), and i never owned an apple product UNTIL i got an iPhone 3GS. 2 years on and i've still got it. I still hate apple, i still hate iTunes, but it is the best gadget/phone/device i've ever owned. The user interface is so slick and easy to use... i even enjoy adding contacts to my phone is so easy and intuitive. From day 1 you know how to do everything on the phone, it's been designed so well. Now compare that to the Android phones that my work mates / fiance have and the UI is so clunky and cumbersome, and un-intuitive, and these are brand new Everyone keeps saying they're better because they have more features and they're not made by apple - but i just dont agree.
  15. UK car for under £6k?? Dude thats too cheap - you're killing the market for everyone else
  16. No way used to smell failed cats all the time when they first started putting them on cars... not smelled one in years. Buster - Take the opportunity to replace with uprated parts
  17. Lets not dis the guys car here... i was dissing the lazy auction attempt idec - on a pretty much weekly basis we see eBay adds with 'claimed' bhp figures from people who blatantly dont know about zeds. I thought this was one of those ebay adds as it doesnt really detail any of the effort that's gone into the car If you're asking £14.5k for it, i think you need to demonstrate the effort that has gone into the car rather than saying 'To much to list etc etc etc etc'. It makes the viewer not believe your auction, and also suggests that the car the car hasnt been lovingly crafted with an attention to detail - like it's just been thrown together. Thats just my opinion though. I think the car looks good though tbh, apart from the bonnet vents. GLWTS...
  18. No way... fair enough then but still a crazy price. It's the laziness/lack of engine detail on the auction which i found amusing... if you're going to spend £5k extra on a car for the engine, it needs to be detailed properly what you're getting.
  19. Just seen this on the related items link from Irfans ebay link... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-350Z-2 ... 6016596496 £14500 With the main 'selling point' being that it has had an engine rebuild, detailed by saying 'The engine modifications are too long to list, eg forged pistons, connecting rods, cam shafts, valves, etc, etc, etc.' Discuss....
