  1. So from reading up on it, code p0340 is the normal camshaft position sensor error which i'm not getting so i dont know now... So i've removed the throttle controller anyway and see if it comes back or not.
  2. Yeh... i see what you're both saying... but for something im going to use once in a blue moon, or for getting the odd tight accessable bolt off, it might be useful? Am after an opinion from someone who's used one really.
  3. Hey... Has anyone ever used an electric 12v impact wrench? Are they complete crap or are they pretty good? Such as the below: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Wolf-Square-Rev ... 19&sr=1-33 http://www.amazon.co.uk/Cosmo-06414-12v ... 19&sr=1-42
  4. Okay, so it's happened again today and i've just read the codes again. Sam - the tip about the codes repeating has cleared it up for me - thanks mate. So the code string im getting is as follows before it repeats itself: 00121381 I'm guesing this is 2x 4 digit codes therefore: 0012 which appears to be 'P0012 'A' Camshaft Position - Timing Over-Retarded (Bank 1)' but 1381 is not in this list here viewtopic.php?f=17&t=21762... any ideas anyone? I'm not off to search for camshaft position sensor problems, but does anyone have any more info on this? Cheers
  5. Whats wrong with the range rover dude?
  6. I've bought and sold 3x full sets of these wheels on here in the past. All had decent tyres, and all changed hands for £100 for the full set. Therefore i'd say your set are worth £50 plus delivery... ...that said, they dont come along very often anymore so they might go up in price...
  7. I really like both the X5 and the Cayenne, and looked at them both before getting my current zed. However, my favourite car is still the Range Rover, and i was looking at them only just yesterday...! If someone offered me a swap for my zed today for this, i think i'd take it... http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... ?logcode=p
  8. At the end it says 'Paid for the national coalition of laws can go **** themselves'...
  9. Although i've just realised that they'll be LHD...

  11. Welcome mate. Have a look in the garage function on here to see if any particular style zed takes your fancy...
  12. Cheers Will... Hi Sasha... A/F? Air filter? Air/Fuel? Not sure what this is sorry. First thing i checked was my fluids and all look spot on. I've reset the ECU now and read the codes again but got nothing (000 i think). So i've been on a 10 minute blast round town (is there anything better late at night? ) and it seems alright for now... so i'll keep my eye on it.
  13. Sounds like a great deal. Post the reg of your current car on here so if anyone posts up saying they're going to view your car in the future we can warn them of the problems.
  14. Did you watch it through the credits at the end too? Someone's alive Repost Cant wait for the next one though Oooh link? I cant find it!

  16. EDIT - I've read the codes, see my latest post! Hi all, Sorry to post this, but i need some help reading my fault codes...! Same story as many others on here - when driving today, about 1 minute after setting off the engine/slip lights came on and the car went into limp mode. I restarted it immediately and the light were gone, but then 30 seconds later it all came on again with limp mode. So switched it off and on for a 3rd time, and i got a mile up the road before it happened again so limped all the way home. So, i've tried to read the codes using the guide from here: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=53054&hilit=engine+light and i filmed it. However i cant really discern where the fast/slow flashes stop and start - and they seem to go on forever (i got bored of filming after a while! Does this mean that i've got loads of fault codes stored which could have been on there for years, or have loads of faults been thrown from this issue? I'm thinking if i do an ecu reset and wait for it to happen again before reading the codes...? Lastly - the car has been fine for the 6k miles i've had it, never had a problem. Only 37k on the clock now. I fitted a throttle controller about 3 weeks ago but have done a couple of hundred miles since then without fault... Any help is much appreciated.
  17. I love it But i if i was driving it, i'd want this hat.
  18. Erm... i think i'd be getting that diagnosed further an possibly have the tank drained and filter changed now! And then i'd be taking the bill for that round to that garage...
  19. +1, but they cost a fortune. Very reliable (Never had an outage in 7+ years), great speed... but you pay for it.
  20. Welcome Draq... Any pics of your zed...?
