  1. Good question! 1) My home made paddle shift kit for my previous Auto zed - transformed the car 2) 2 regrets - 1 - fitting the K1, which i quickly removed, and 2 - i paid someone on here for a carbon wrap of my center console and it was dreadful. I lived with it for about a year before stripping it, sanding and repainting it all
  2. Look for leaking fluid from them for a sure sign that they're shot. Also a visual inspection of the rubber mounting at the top of them should also give a good indication of the life left on them.
  3. I used to have a stack of spotted cards but i gave them away when i sold my last zed. Need some more...
  4. Cool, good stuff, good luck! Hope it stays dry for you Was it you telling me there was a blue 370 in Tytherington with a black 370 just down the road too?? Someone was telling me this the other week... and Simon tonight said that's him...!
  5. Cool. Doing the sensible stuff first then i see. What track day are you looking at doing?
  6. I might struggle for this actually as im going to the F1 in Monaco in May... and then to Africa in September... so cross me off the list, but i'll keep an eye on things and may re-add myself if things change.
  7. My mate from work has just txt me about this... im recording it now.
  8. Hi, I met a guy called Simon today at Tytherington shops with a blue 370z, and sent him in the direction of the forum, so hopefully he'll see this!
  9. Tyres have been discussed many many times on here... ...from my experience i didnt really like the Falkens, and i've had Vredsteins on a previous car and wasnt really a fan. However the Goodyear Eagle F1's that i've got at the moment are awesome. So much grip (taken them on track a couple of times and they're amazing)
  10. I do... very rare MOMO optional wheel. ...i'll sell it to you for £250
  11. Cool cheers mate. Am watching them both now.
  12. That was the convincer for me and kept it in mind for this year. Don't fancy running (and ruining) my Volks this winter like I did last winter. I've been keeping my eye out for a cheap-ass set of wheels as im nervous about my Volks too. Did you really wreck them with the salt? I saw your pictures pre-refurn and they looked pretty bad...! Did you put any wax or sealant on them before last winter? This weekend just gone i put some spray on wheel wax on mine (supposed to do 2 or 3 sprays... i did about 100 per wheel!!) Yeah, I did try my best to protect them, but salt is a bit of a bugger and I'll be honest, I didn't fancy doing that every single day. It just got under the micron thin anodisation layer that the Volks are finished with to give them that mirror finish. Once it got under I got the telltale snailtrails of corrosion and the like. Took the refurbisher a while to get all of that anodisation off tbh. Thanks Mark...thats worrying then...! I think im going to sorn the zed from Dec-March this winter... hopwfully the wheels will be okay without the car being driven.

  15. I uprated my non-brembos on my last zed... and it cost me £700 for uprated DBA discs, Endless pads, braided lines and fitting. I should have just bought the brembos ...for a pair of uprated discs for the JDM you're lookign at £300 alone...
  16. I'd probably get a freelander given the price range http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... ?logcode=p
  17. Sorry to hear that mate, how did you do that? Can you not get it repaired...?
  18. I spent 3 hours detailing it yesterday and loved every minute of it. I then went for a drive for about 15 minutes and no exaggeration there were at least 6 cars full of people that were pointing and staring at it which was pretty cool ...so i think i will keep it.
  19. Hey Stan... ! How many cars do you pair have?! I hope you, Lucy and baby Zee are doing well? I dont think you've missed too much round here... same old same old, except with a few more arguments I had a 'moment' last week and was thinking about selling my zed, but i think im keeping it now... for this weel at least. What's going on at Silverstone then...? Hope the weather stays alright for you...
