Wash wheels with water to ensure all dust is gone 10. paint with several layers of clear lacquer Takes about a week to do it all, with drying times between layers etc... Your painting environment is important... i did mine in my garage, but the most important thing is your painting technique. light thin layers are the key to success, from a distance of about 12 - 14 inches. If you dont get complete coverage on your first pass, dont go over it - wait until you're doing the next coat. 8.

Top tip... (it was my fiance's idea!) ...wrap the tyres in cling film while taping down the enges with masking tape. Also, i did the inside of the wheels black.

Nismo kit. I think zeds look naked without a kit.

Im a bit gutted though to be honest... i had a plan that i was hoping that these wheels would look awesome so i could sell my Volks to raise some funds for a TV that i've got my eye on (It's £2500 )... but at work this morning my mate came up to me and said "Whats up with your car? It looks different... not as good somehow". I said i'd swapped the wheels and he said "Oh yeh, it looks gay put the others back on!" ...my theory with the TV was that i look at my wheels for maybe 15 seconds a day, whilst walking to and from my car... whereas i'd look at a 55" LED TV for 6 hours a day...!

Hi all, I bought a set of stock 18's on eBay for winter earlier this month and over the last few weeks i've been spraying them up myself. I started out by doing one of them Orange... just for fun really: It looks alright in the pictures but in person it was too garish, so i have gone for an anthracite colour instead. I finished them last week and have just fitted them today. All i need now is to replace the tyres with something decent, and get a set of spacers all round. What do you think? Are they so good that i can sell my Volks?

+1 NFS Underground was probably the most enjoyable racer i ever played... nothing has come close since. ...i've just seen the advert for this new one and it looks alright... but there's just too many good games out at the moment and i aint got time to play em!

But on a STANDARD car, they are just reflection of the sidlights which make it look like LED's and they look amber, Wrong they are amber LEDs. What you doing round here buddy?

I dont think you're going to be able to paint the metal of the engine bay James... you'll only be able to reach a few parts of it, and it will look wrong.

Was gonna be my suggestion I seem to remember someone else had a similar issue and it was a grounding strap +2 i'd agree. If it wont crank then it suggests the battery isnt working. And for it to stop suddenly i'd suggest the earth wire has come lose? Take a look at the negative terminal and follow the wire to the chassis to make sure it's connected securely.

+1 Imports defo dont cost more to insure +2 no problem with import insurance being higher... You can have my zed for £10k...
