  1. First time i've seen it. Read the description below - didnt look like the tyres braking loose
  2. Hi, I recently bought a set of Eibach Pro lowering springs for my zed second hand and was going to fit them myself. However i've thought more about it and decided that i dont want to lower my car as there are a lot of speedbumps around where i live etc, and im perfectly happy with how my zed handles anyway so i was only doing it for the looks. So i'm offering them for sale... apparently they've only done around 4k miles previously and they look in good condition - the printed Eibach logo is still clearly visible on the springs. These will lower your car 30mm front and back. £170 + £15 P&P Cheers.
  3. PM sent. Can you receive PM's when you've only got 3 posts? I've got a JWT Pop Charger coming off my car this weekend, which you can have for £75 incl delivery... Done around 14k miles and was re-oiled in November.
  4. Hey all... I've never been to the F1 before and i really want to go to Silverstone this year... Am i too late to buy tickets for this year's race? Where's the best place to buy them from? Also, can anyone give me any useful details such as where to sit, what to expect, best way to get there etc etc? Any help is appreciated. Cheers.
  5. What colour is your zed? Get some matching tape and cover the holes, you will never see them. To be honest I've never seen a tapered plate....
  6. Definitely not a belt problem. I replaced the Alternator belt a few months ago as well. Besides the rhythm quickens with road speed. If it was a belt, I would have expected it to match engine speed. Now that's a point. This I did not check! Cheers, I'll check that out. I've had the screw in tyre problem a few times and I find the best way to spot it is to have someone drive really slowly while you walk alongside and try to see if you can pinpoint at what point the noise occurs. Good luck mate.
  7. Previous owner on my car paid about £1500 for the clutch and lightweight fly to be replaced I think...
  8. Definitely from the wheel? Not a splintered belt in the engine bay? Or could be a screw stuck in your tyre.
  9. Dont bother with your insurance for that - it'll cost you £2000 over the next few years in increased dividends if you declare that. Get a new bumper from a scrappers for under £100, then get it sprayed up for £200 for a cheap job and fit it yourself - should be very easy.

    ITS BACK....

It was the one with the rear seats col...
  11. that only works if you also add in the variable for those who paid in full and those who have it on finance. i bought mine 4 years ago when they were expensive to buy, and paid cash outright and was 26 for what i paid then i could buy 3 zeds for the same money. there are still people on here who bought them new who piad twice what i did; the demographics have changed dramatically i think from a while ago. Yeh I didn't really mean it as a competition to look who's the most wealthy, but instead to kind off see what sort or salary demographic owns a zed. I.e. is it rich youngsters, or average salary salary middle aged people etc. We all see the zed as being better than your run of the mill cars so I wondered if that was reflected in people's incomes. It's obviously not 911 or M3 money, but then they're not Fiesta money either, but are low income people driving zeds, or people with 911 money in them as well etc...

    ITS BACK....

Bargain, despite the shite inside. Someone should buy it and strip it for a track car.
  13. Do it, it'll be fine... But just incase.
  14. Watshot - what a great post. I was planning on going to rocher this year too but things have come around so quickly that I was thinking about waiting till next year. Your post has just confirmed it for me - ill just wait and do it properly next time. I love the sound of walking the track and finding some souvenirs...
  15. Yeah I saw your review on them. I may step that way in the future - but as I have already purchased the fronts ready to go on, I thought I may as well go for the 50's on the back for a while.
  16. I've got Goodyear Eagle F1's and cant recommend them enough - fantastic tyres in the wet or dry, and they're great on track.
