  1. Pair of 10000K HID bulbs for your headlights, giving you more of a blue headlight.
  2. Good memory! Yep - i had these wheels on my previous zed and they were awful... they were so heavy that they ruined the handling of my car. I also couldnt get them balanced, i had a constant wobble above 80mph. The final nail in the coffin is that the metal rim is infact a very thin aluminium sheet - one day it just pinged up off the rim, looking like i had a buckled wheel, but it was just the ally sheet. If i were you i would see if you can get some standard Rays wheels and feel how your car drives - see if it feels like a much better car (im sure it will). RE spacers, these wont affect your handling at all and they're perfectly safe - but they will make your car look a lot cooler
  3. How much did that set you back Dave?
  4. I had body coloured eyebrows on my previous zed and loved them - looked much cooler i thought. Got mine in frp from ebay.com
  5. I tink not young George. More like a 12 year old. Signed The old fart Chris. who has............ (the mind/madness of an 18 year old, body of a ............... 70 year old) you're not old and wrinkly, you're just ribbed for pleasure Ha ha. 28yrs young here. Feel about 44
  6. Have you done all of the necessary resets? Having just had a quick search it sounds like there are a number of resets that are required: ECU reset Throttle position reset throttle body reset idle reset I think the guides for each are here: viewtopic.php?f=35&t=55272 (see search results here: search.php?keywords=throttle+AND+body+AND+idle&terms=all&author=&sc=1&sf=all&sk=t&sd=d&sr=topics&st=0&ch=300&t=0&submit=Search)
  7. Every day's a school day. I never knew that.
  8. 2nd dibs on the slam panel if it becomes available again. That's exactly what I've been after for ages.
  9. Welcome mate. FYI your tuning options are extremely limited with the zed, unless you've got £7k+ spare to go FI.
  10. Oh god forbid you have to get up and press the power button... It's when i fast forward or rewind something, and it gets stuck and rewinds the whole damn program. I cant describe how infuriating this is!!!!
  11. Strangely, i've got the V+HD box and really like it. Performs very well and easy to use, but most of all the remote is really good (i hate remotes that you have to look at the buttons before you press when they're ilogically laid out). My parents have the Tivo box which i dont like at all. Hideous red menus, very small writing on the onscreen menus that my mum cant even read, and you dont appear to be able to change, and it keeps recording suggested shows for them, which theyre having to frequently delete (although you may be able to switch this off). The only thing that annoys me about the V+HD is that at midnight every night it updates itself, and the remote stop responding!!
  12. I was thinking that when i was typing it... i should just dl the UFC's. Bought myself a NAS drive last week that streams to my xbox so its not even a hassle watching dl stuff anymore. The one thing i will say about VM is that their broadband is the best there is... very very reliable. I've only ever had one outage in 6 years, and thats when my cable modem died.
  13. I've been with VM for around 6 years and i've got to say, im REALLY starting to hate them. All i get through the mail from them is either info about a new price increase, or them trying to make me sign up to their mobile phone service. I pay them £91.50 a month, and for that i get small broadband, small telephone calls, and XL TV with Sky Sports HD, and a non-hd multiroom option. I have not even had the house phone plugged in during the last year, but i noticed that my bill was fluctuating so i called them up (only took an hour to get through to them in india), and i had been charged about £4 a month for phone calls that i wasnt even making for the last year. I asked them to sort it out, and it took them 6 MONTHS to send an engineer round, and i still never got that refund for those calls. Disgusting. I cant be bothered phoning them up to complain though as it just takes too much damn effort to get through to them. Then last month i had a letter through... they're putting my bill up by £3.50 a month! I have no idea why and it didnt detail the reason for the price increases. Really detest them. The final nail in the coffin for me is that they havent got SKy F1 in HD... i have to put up with crappy standard definition. I think when i can be bothered, i'll be swapping to Sky. The only thing keeping me at the moment is that they give me ESPN for free, which is where i watch all the UFC. Lastly... my stepdad is on VM, on the cheapest package and all he gets from them is special ****ing offers giving him free stuff and upgrades constantly. Way to look after your best customers, Virgin Media. /rant
  14. The Gallardo is still one of my favourite cars, but i also did an experience day last year and i came to the exact same conclusion about it. You didnt go to the Prestwold Driving Center near Leicester, did you? I drove a GTR first and then the Gallardo, and the difference was night and day in favour of the GTR.
  15. That whole auction page looks like an episode of Wheeler Dealers.
  16. Welcome back mate, sounds gruesome. Glad you're okay!
  17. And the size of the number plate as I found out 2 years ago even though it had been on the car for quite a few years There is easy money and nicks for them at Japfestto meet there quota Thanks for that - i run a small plate on the front so will velcro on the regular one for the day
  18. My realistic answer would be my NAS drive... tech can be replaced, but my data cant be (home movies/photos etc).
  19. Depends what the emergency is... I'm assuming apocalypse, in which case: 1. Weapons (guns, knives, bats etc) 2. Sleeping bag/blankets 3. Lighter/matches/candles/fuel
  20. Were they trying to break in...?
  21. Maybe one of your pistons fell out through the exhaust?
