  1. Cool, cheers. I'll look forward to the video. I was going to go out and try mine today, but i washed the car this morning and now it's raining Im going to try mounting mine on the passager rear-quarter window.
  2. If only the rear of those DB7's hadnt dated so badly, they would be quite tempting now. But then for that money i'd rather have the current shape XK as it's a beautiful looking car. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... ?logcode=p
  3. Not bad... Where was it mounted, and using what? I've had my GoPro about 3 months now but not used it yet... but planning on trying it out tomorrow ahead of my track time at Japfest next week. I bought one of these converters so i can mount it to a universal screw thread camera mount, and i've got a big suction mount that i can use on the interior/exterior. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Monopod-Tripo ... 4ab63564af
  4. Not much fun stuff to do in Manny in my opinion. You could try the following: The Chill Factor: www.chillfactore.com (indoor ski slope) Go Karting: http://www.daytona.co.uk/venues/manchester/ Dont go to the science museum... its a kids day out. As for going out... you'll struggle to get in anywhere in a group... we separate into 3's when going into any clubs as you risk being turned away otherwise. This place is fairly cool, although we had to book in advance last time we went... you pour your own beer from the taps on your table, and pay by the ml i think... a bit of a fun novelty. http://tapsbar.co.uk/
  5. Just reduce the contrast of the selected area and it will go blacker...
  6. Ordered. Although with things like this, the store usually realise and we'll get an email telling us they're out of stock. Worth a punt though.
  7. Hi guys... Im sorry to post this but google's annoying me now! I've got Virgin Media broadband, and have my own wireless router plugged into the virgin cable modem. I've had this setup for approx 5 years and it's never once missed a beat. Woke up this morrning to find i couldnt access the internet on any devices (iphone, ipad, 2x laptops). Reset both my router and modem several times but still no joy. However, plugging my cable modem directly into my laptop works. I get the internet back - therefore that must mean the problem is the wireless router, surely? However, what i dont understand is that i can still connect to the wireless router via Wifi - my local network works perfectly, its just it wont give me access to the internet I called Virgin media and they reckon there is some kind of conflicting signal coming from my router stopping things from working, but the guy was just trying to get my off the phone. Never heard of this before... any weight to it? My main concern though is that yesterday it was working fine, and today its not, and that my router appears to work still as far as the LAN is concerned - so i dont want to go out and spend £30-40 on a new router when thats not actually the problem. ...and google's been no help as i cant explain the context of my problem when searching... there are lots of 'connected to wifi but no internet' threads, but all with different context. Cheers...
  8. Ahh, with you... i'll keep my eye out for a separate letter then... cheers!
  9. Just received mine - thanks Martin. However - please can you confirm what the contents of the envelope should have been? I've got 4x pages of track-time related info 1x pink Pit Lane pass for track session B4 1x colour car pass that states Gate A area TT (Track time). On the back of this it says 'This pass is not a ticket, entry with appropriate tickets only'. I dont have a ticket... should i have had? Cheers Chris.
  10. Would like to see them on an azure. EDIT - meant to reply to your wheel thread, not this

    6K HID's

Sorry, only just seen this. I've had no problems with them so far, but then to be honest i rarely drive anywhere where i dont know where im going, and im hardly every out in the dark anyway so its not a problem for me. But to answer your question, i would say they're only a tiny bit dimmer than regular bulbs... certainly not so dim that it affects your driving style.
  12. I was about to say, visit Beavis! Alternatively there'a a Makro on the A34 if you've got a card, or there is: http://www.buffet-island.com/newcastle.aspx
  13. Despite the fact that you'd just never ever own something like that - it looks really good quality! I tell you waht though, aston's are getting so common now... i've seen 3 today just on my journey to work.
  14. Welcome mate. We often have meets at the Krispy Kreme near the Trafford Center, you'll have to get yourself along if you're not too far away. We've not had one this year yet though
  15. Welcome mate... looking very good. Have you done the work yourself? A build thread would be good if you have progress pics. Nice Volks by the way...
  16. If you're doing it just fr looks, dont bother. 99% of people will never notice, so you're wasting £2k on nothing. If, however you want to upgrade to improve braking performance as you track your car for example, then go for it - i'd recommend going for the stock brembo calipers with uprated discs and pads.
  17. I still call myself a gamer, but i just cant get into games nowadays. The last game i really got into was F1 2011 which was awesome, but i end up playing them for 2 weeks and then not touching my xbox for 3 months. It drives me mad though as i love gaming, i just dont have the stamina anymore! That said, my memories of gaming are more important to me... the SNES was my golden era (i guess you could call this retro now?)... so much so that i stayed up till 3am this weekend just gone playing on my homemade arcade machine...! A bit of F-Zero, Donkey Kong Country, DOOM, and then finished off on Mario Kart 64.
  18. Get yourself one of those Bon Jovi sat navs... it keeps telling you 'You're half way there!'.

    6K HID's

Yes d2r. I recently bought a pair of 10000k off eBay for about £18.
  20. Civic's are great, i'd have one.
  21. I can't speak for the diff oil as I've not changed Mine, but as Beavis says above you should always use oem fluids. I changed my gearbox fluid a few months ago... A very easy job you can do yourself but to be honest I didn't notice any difference, despite my clunky gearbox.
  22. Welcome... I'm also a 28yr old chris
