  1. scuffed left front rim tut tut Your showcars look Thats a lot of cash and they look amazing, but isn't that like owning 2 museums the fact you won't/don't drive them Haha, tell me about it! You should see the other side. I don't think the guy that owned it before missed a curb! I bought the 06 wheels but they are still in the back of the Navigator. Been in there for over a week and a half. Gotta get the time to install them. And yeah, we built them knowing we wouldn't drive them. I grew up with a show car in the garage. My father restored a 1968 Camaro RS. We paid $500 for it and he made covers and features of magazines, then sold it for $32,000. And yep,.. he is the reason I am a show car nutcase. haha
  2. Yeah that is the price range and, unfortunately, the types of shows we enter require turbos or you lose a ton of points. They call it "all show and no go". Yeah, it is a lot of money but we just love to show them and compete. It's really not much different than putting the Ibherdesign widebody on it since that has eliminated it from being driven as well due to the clearance issue. Lots of the $$'s in these cars are just for show. Sad, but true.
  3. Yes, it is irritating to not be able to drive them. Well, my husband drives his sometimes though. I'm too scared to. lol We bought an 03 brickyard for one to drive around and leaving it stock. There is not one person that believes we will leave it stock. Are you kidding??? I LOVE being able to go into parking lots and not avoid certain roads. i can drive it anywhere and LOVE it!! (Although I did get some 06 wheels and new tires for an unbeatable price this past weekend so those will be going on soon. but they are stock wheels! just the wrong year. haha This is the DD! But I have seen car shows where i could detail the brickyard to where you can eat off of it and get an award. So, Really, any car can be a show car. I guess it just depends on how modified and drastic the owners want to take it. Every show has so many different classes each one could fall under.
  4. These are mine and my husbands Z's that we show only. No driving at all. (as much as i would love to ) Sorry for the quality of the pics from our personal camera. This was at HIN Orlando, Florida this past July. Inside the convention center and dark. My husband's.... My Z... HIN featuring the car for their website. That light was BRIGHT!!!! lol
  5. The lighting in my car are leds. LOTS of them to get the red to show up compared to the blue. DOUBLE. (hubby has blue) I spoke to the guy with the brickyard and he wasn't the most sociable type but I did ask him if he had a username on forums and he chuckled and said he doesn't have time to go on forums and doesn't have a username.
  6. No, it wasn't hers. I wish because we need to meet in person after talking for long! But it was owned by a man. He was nice guy and spent the whole entire show standing right next to it and wiping over and over. I was parked in front of him. His sure was a beauty! I also saw you got a close up of my rhinestoned emblems! Those were done one by one with glue and a toothpick. (just under 1,000 stones!) I did all my gauges inside too. Lots of hours put into those. Sad part is, I have decided to remove them all and replace with red stones! It's ok, I love doing anything to my Z.
  7. Nice pics! I remember you! I had such a blast out there, even if it was only for one day.
  8. No not at all! This is the Venom non-widebody and there isn't much difference with mine except the center hole is a little smaller and my two side opening have a section going across the center. Here are pics so you can see the difference. It would pretty much look the same minus those two differences in the openings. The fender flares don't really make it that much wider. I can also get you 20% off non-widebody and 30% off wide.
  9. Hey Ricky! Small world! Yeah, ZCON was aweZome, but better without all the rain. Did you stay for the whole week? nI had to leave Tuesday evening since I have 3 kids and had to get them to school, plus I had to work. Really wanted to stay. Did you win any awards?
  10. LOL, yep. One extreme wild, one extra clean and one as a DD. Love them all. Thanks for the welcome and compliments.
  11. Thanks for the warm welcome!! Yeah, I was refering to the Vapor but not sure if he wanted us to chit chat about it yet. I do have a 300zx convertible too for a DD, since i have done so much to the 350, it doesn't see the road unless on a trailer. Dimitri, my husband, has one as well. Yep, we love the Z's! Honestly, wouldn't mind another 350. Here are the other Z's..
  12. Yes, that is my Z. I was chosen by Ibherdesign to advertise that kit on my car to introduce it to the states and would do it all over again! The car has one many awards and trophies up to 6 feet tall! In fact they have contacted me to let me know they are in the works of a kit for another car I own. I love their kits. But yes, you either love it or hate it. Everyone has a different opinion. I personally like wild kits and show only. When I put the turbo in, I took it to the track and ran it 3 times. Yeah, I had a blast but, it belongs in a show. Not a track car. I am still working on the car. Still have a few things to do and she will be done. Well, when are they ever done. haha It is definitely a fun road to take though. Tere, I can not WAIT to see yours done!!! And Jose, from Ibherdesign, says hi and try to keep him updated on the progress!
