Say hello to my new baby: Just wow! Love it, can't wait for Bala now
-
GLWTS I personally think this would make a great project car for somebody! £3.5k cheapest on the net.
-
LOL, I noticed nobody replied as well thought that was odd! Anyway, test drive was awesome. I felt alive again! What a car the 370z is, some things I noticed - the clutch is a lot lighter than the 350z, loved the gear change and syncro rev match wow. Maybe it's me, but I thought it sounded awesome as stock. And loved the interior, job well done Nissan. Anyway, I walked away. The service history was crap! It was missing the first two stamps, then it had 4 stamps from some tyre place up north. TBH the service book looked fake to me. And it had ditch finders on it, and the discs were all rusty - needed replacing. I'm a bit OCD when it comes to cars so they have to be pretty good in the first place as I do a lot of miles and I look after them. My search continues.....

Thanks - I'm keeping my beady eyes on them

Hi, Looking to purchase a 370z in the next few weeks hopefully. I'm looking at the 2009 / 2010 models, manual gearbox, GT spec and Nav. Preferably reverse sensors / camera as well. Not fussed on colour ATM. Budget is flexible but priced around what the 2010's go for if you get my drift. Cheers....Mark.

Well hello all, first time post since 2010....going to test drive a 370z this weekend, can't wait tbh. I've never driven a 370z but always missed my 350z but went abroad for a couple of years.... Been driving around in a diesel for the last few years and great as it's been I've missed driving a zed badly. So any tips? I know about general things to look for, but what about haggling down a zed from a dealer? Its a 2010 model with 30k on the clock. How long are you guys finding the discs lasting? I think it's got ditch finders on it from what I can see so that's a bit of a joke. Am I right in saying a 5 year old should have had a P1, P2, P3 and a P1 service? I've rung a couple of dealers with the reg but they don't have full access to the entire UK network which is a shame. Sorry if I should have searched but you know, help out a fellow zed nutter here! If it all goes well and there's a spare space I will come on the wales drive. It's only 20 miles from me...

Parello's Azure/Matte Blue 3M 350z Complete!
NWZ replied to parello9's topic in Member Build Projects
Nice to see my old car still looking good! Not been in here in ages. I sold that beauty back in 2009 when I went to live in Cyprus but I'm back in the uk now. Out of interest what's the mileage now? Sounds like the clicky driveshaft came back then. I might be coming back just deciding whether to go 370z route... -
Cheers guys, I knew it would be dangerous coming on here. Trouble is I so miss the zed and could I take a hit on the fuel costs? And I know I will find driving a diesel as dull as hell. But I know the zed will probably cost 4k a year more in fuel. Out of interest, how much is a full tank of VPower these days?

Well hi all, It's been a while since I posted on here, some of you might recall I moved to Cyprus as I secured a contract over here, anyway, Cyprus is a lovely place but very very expensive to survive unless you are a millionaire out here. Plus they are nutters on the road, I am so fedup with being cut up, tailgated, seeing the amount of accidents on the road is quiet scary. So I'm after some advice, I'm going to be working in London when I return in 2 weeks, I'll be taking my house back in North Wales so I will be commuting to the big smoke weekly. I would love another zed buy I think it will be a shame just to run it on motorways. I am 200% sure I will but another zed but not just yet. This time I am going to be sensible, my mortgage is priority and I want it paid ASAP plus I'm fed up with losing so much money on cars it's heartbreaking. Any tips on a decent diesel - my budget is around 8k, I've seen some high miler 320d se for around this price. What would you buy as a good commuter doing around 500 miles a week? Audi A4? Beemer? VW? Or should I just be super sensible and buy an older 3 series for around 5k? Maybe I'll try and see if I can catch up with you all at the Bala run. Cheers for now....Mark.

Mike, I bought them from Buckley Tyres - might be worth giving them a shout - 01244 544575 All the best...I believe you had a chat with my old man!
-
typo? Ah, you newbies Mike thanks for the comments about the interior, I am also impressed how well it has kept, about 80% of the time it only had me in it, will certainly miss those Bala roads! Oh, and did I forget to mention the Zed keyring? Must be there somewhere!

I'm sure most of you know this is (was) my car... I was waiting for Mike before he announced his great news. I am so chuffed for him buying my car, I was thinking of importing it to Cyprus but it would have cost in the region of 18000 euros and then a mass of paperwork claiming back the duty - it was just a no brainer. I had visions of cruising Ayia Napa / Pafos, window down, zorst playing tunes....cue..."Our Tune" Radio 1... but it was not to be.... It definitely looks as if were going to be staying here for at least a year and the thought of driving a nice car out here just isn't worth it. The roads, the police, the speed bumps, the pot holes, the sloppy driving etc etc I could go on. My life is different now, it evolves around a great hotel where I work, and bbq's and lot's of swimming after work & weekends, so not much call for spirited driving... But I will always remember the groin on my face in August 2007 when I drove it home for the first time! So congratulations to Mike! I know he'll love it, 2 zed's in his home town will be amazing I always bang on about this - just wait for direct sunlight to catch the azure on the wing mirrors....what a colour. Well done Mike

Thanks all that's a great start

Hi Guys, I need your help. Some of you might know that I'm working in Cyprus in a new hotel looking after their IT and media / music entertainment etc etc - you know what's it like.. I'm not a big football fan and if anybody can help guide me to a website or list what major football events are coming for the next month or 2 then I would be very much appreciated. We have a sky roof lounge and have a projector and PA / speaker system and want to show the football matches for the guests and hopefully bring more punters in. I would be truely grateful if you can help - cheers Mark.

Hi Guys, Not had chance to come on here much, especially as the Zed is some 4000 miles away from me. So I don't really think about the car much. Anyway, we've moved to Cyprus and have secured jobs over here, I'm working on a new hotel implementing their IT (CAT 6 infrastrucure, VOIP, VOD, music streaming you name it, they have it. It's going to be the dogs..... Very happy at the moment, extremely hot when out in the midday sun but this is something we've wanted to do for ages. Running round in a Clio ii at the moment which is a laugh as it only costs 25 euros to fill up. Needless to say, the zed is in a friends garage all covered up and waiting for me to decide if I keep it or just have it on standby if Cyprus falls through. I do miss it a lot but the driving over here doesn't justify it, and besides that the police are everywhere with speed guns (worse at night). Hope everybody is well, shame I'll miss the Wales meet this year...Cheers...Mark.

Which is the loudest? As I sold my K&N I never really heard the JWT - just curious to hear which was louder.
-
Withdrawn - car is going to hibernate in a relatives garage....which is great news for me, although I wont be driving it, at least I can say I still own a 350z At least we have a car to drive when we return (if we return)

Thanks Alex!

As the title says, if I don't sell my 350z I have an option of storing it in a garage. Any tips on what I need to do to store the car? Should I disconnect anything or let any air out of the tyres? Thanks....Mark.
