What a rip off to replace discs, pads & tyres! You can easily get upgraded discs & pads for around £1000 all in fitted. Tyres should be about £600 for a full set - this is what I've paid for Michelin Pilots. Seriously though, are the discs, pads & tyres that bad? Do you check them?

Went to Nissan Chorley last Thursday for my P2 & Plugs (£340 all in btw, supplied my own oil). The entrance was all boarded up and I mean literally 15ft square boarded up - apparantly an older female customer went to drive off and the car was in reverse I don't believe anybody was hurt. I bet the driver s**t herself.... If your local you must drive by, it looks like it's been ramraided!

I'll post the sensible answer OK As the car is built in Japan there isn't much need for fog which is why the Z doesn't have them. And that explains why on the imports they have an aftermarket rear fog lamp as well (on the ones I've seen anyway).

Hi Guys, I might be tentative on this meet now. I have secured a new contract and will be in Stockholm on and off for 12 months. I have a flight back that Sunday night you see. I'd love to come but any idea what time you are meeting at St Davids? And what time is the carvery? I might be able to make it but will need to leave at 2pm.

Paid £180 each for my rear MPS, they're the old pattern but as I still have 6mm on the MPS old pattern on the fronts I though I'd keep with the same pattern. For info, I got 14k out of the rears, so if I judge right I should get 28k out of the fronts which is amazing.

I agree on the stock side of things, I've heard the nismo and it is in a different world but for £1000 upwards it should be! I think it's only worth upgrading this kind of mod when your exhaust needs replacing IMHO. As far as comments go, I'm becoming a lip reading expert, try it Stan, look at oncoming drivers (usually young lads) and lip read them telling their mates / gf "look it's a 350z" Went bowling last night and lip read a young lad walking in front of the car, his expression was simply wow! I totally agree as the car was gleaming yesterday 8 months in and I still have that grin, gave it some beans yesterday as it was dry and the car still has the WOW factor!

Got MPS on mine and they're excellent, as far as prices goes, I would always recommend a fitter that isn't going to mark your wheels vs saving a few quid... I've learnt the hard way in the past!

Probably saw more Zed's last week than I have in the last 3 months: 56 gunmetal in Sainsbury's carpark on Thurs 13/3 @ 1700ish- Cheshire Oaks - anybody? Saw 53 plate gunmetal in Ellesmere Port today @ 1500 - anybody? And on the way home an Azure Blue by the Little Chef - anybody? And I saw the 08 black one again near Broughton Retail Park - nice

I take it those that are staying are St Davids Park Hotel realise that it is circa 7 miles from Chester City Centre? It's ideal for the meet on Sunday but if your planning a night out in Chester then you will need Taxi's (and the queues are a nightmare). If it was me, I would stay at The Mill, great bar, ideal location right by the canal, pool / leisuire facilities and they have a TechnoGym

Most probably as I am usually the only Zed on the M56 You'll just have to buy one so I can easily spot you going the other way Stan!

I saw a black 08 coupe today as well! I think it was the owners of a car dealership in Broughton, Nr. Chester. On a side issue I saw an 08 E class Merc in Chester, the driver had his fog's on and only one of the fronts was working Made me laugh, what a plonker as it was sunny and the fact that he had a fault already!
