This is the Queensferry car auction which is quiet small compared to BCA's hughe outfits in the UK. They do tend to have quiet a lot of ex fleets going through (especially from Shell). Usually, beemers & audis, say 3 years old. The zed is quiet rare, let's see what happens. Going to the car auction tomorrow looking for a new car for the mrs. It just looks like a facelift 350z to me, much shorter though, probably too short which will mean an even smaller boot! It's not enough to upgrade to, looks like the late 08 350z's will be popular now the prices are dropping so much. Rear windows look an absolute waste of time, you know how hard it is to see out of angled junctions in the 350z, the 370z will be a nightmare!

Get it off ebay, some poor sod might buy it!

Yup, only read it when the car is cold - never have a problem with mine. Worse thing - the paint by a mile, it's shockingly weak, front bumper and them rear arches.

I've done the CAT driver training, 1-2-1 with Colin at Milbrook and it was brilliant. Best £500 I've spent on the Zed. However, my new tyres were knackered.... they were ripped to shreds doing the sub 180mph in the bowl, hard breaking burnt my discs out, good job the fire engine was there to cool them down ! So all in all cost me £600 for tyres, £800 for discs & pads and £500 for the course so let's call it £2k. And if you believe that then this is the wrong type of course for you Seriously, you will be able to drive away with a little bit of chewing on the edges of the tyres after testing donuts with the ESP off Recommend Cat and Milbrook, adrenaline rush day

I'll put money on it being the brake pads, not a major problem, I'm sure Phil will have a spare set of pads for you to try Mike. I had this problem on my IS200 and it was the same noise. Defo Definitely not the clicky axle as I've had that as well and that's more like a tick or click noise not a clunck that your getting. And the clicky axle only happens when your driving off even before braking, say from neutral to 1st -> drive -> click click. Neutral -> reverse -> drive -> click click and no clicks when you brake. They were my symptoms anyway.

Who's Lucky ? I get to drive mine everyday. Now that's lucky Sod that weekend business...that's for aerial atoms ! To be honest it would drive me crazy having the zed sleeping in a garage 5 days a week.

Strange price structure, when you go into the sports section and then select 350z - it still says from £27300, maybe the other price is for an ex-demo / seems misleading?

I've always been a high miler due to my job, A few years ago I had a Lexus IS200 which hardly did 400miles to a tank bearing in mind the difference in cars I can get 350miles to the Zed for not much more fuel. Could get a diesel but who wants to be normal? I was talking to Stanski the other week and he does a lot of miles and doesn't touch the expensive juice and his car runs fine he reckons.

As I am now the new official K&N expert lol - you can just remove the bolt and insert the towing eye in its place, the scoop aint gonna go far in there and bearing in mind your being towed so no need for air intake anyway
