Me too, very notchy going into 2nd when cold, otherwise fine when warm.

Shocked...you just don't know what each day will bring. Still, at least he's in the right place, and I know we always think of the worst, I'm sure he will make good recovery soon Has anybody thought of getting a message to him from the OC?

Hi All, Without realising, the Clio I just bought my g/f might have a gap in the service schedule by 2 months / 2k miles. The car was registered in July 06, First service at 12k in July 07, second service in Sept 08 at 28k. No problems with the car, but one of the alloys is bubbling, as the car isn't 3 years old until Jul 09 do you think Renault will honour replacing this under warranty- bearing in mind what they are like (and Nissan) with replacing alloys? I tried posting on the Clio forum, but it's just toooo quiet out there And I know there's a wealth of knowledge on here! Thanks all...

If the coolant in my Zed is on minimum when cold but goes up to 3/4 when warm should I top it up to Max when the car is cold, or should I just leave it? I've been keeping an eye on this for a few weeks now, generally it has been showing 3/4 when cold as well. I bought some L250 coolant from Nissan so have that ready - can you just top this up neat - the guy at Nissan said you can... Thanks...Mark.

I'd like to agree with the miles and the engine getting better - sounds good to me! I'm on 64k miles now and the car still runs like a dream - probably the best in the last 6 months after having all the bugs ironed out (clicky axle, clicky cd, airbag light). Mine feels tight as if it was the 1st day out of the showroom, no clicks! no creaks. I'd say my only bug bears are the front bumper being shot and the rays getting a bit tired, but that's wear & tear anyway. Running on a new set of falkens, decent dba brakes and a new k&n typhoon and it's fantastic. I am actually quiet impressed by how well the interior has kept as well. I've been debating about selling the car for another zed next year, but my plans are to mod it subtly next year in the summer. I don't see anypoint shelling out another £15-£20k for a newer plate. So, after seeing how cheap these high mileage zeds are going for and how well mine still hangs together, I'd buy one

Make double sure it's a Nissan warranty and not a third party they might try and sneak in. When I bought mine, I negotiated 12 months warranty through the Nissan dealership (Hanley) but when I read the small print on the warranty it stated that the car had to be serviced every 7k miles failing that void warranty

Bought it Car is in mint condition FSH, it has just been serviced, the discs arent too bad, the tyres are like new. I started at £4700, they wanted nearer £5000, I said nope, and we agreed at £4750 He was a nice fella but didn't have a clue about the car. Nice work guys!

My front bumper is stone chipped to hell and after an indicent with a jet wash scratching it today it was the last straw. Anybody have a good condition Azue Blue front bumper going spare / or will consider a Nismo for a respray. Please PM with details.

Apparantly, it was the guys daughters car who has moved to London and no longer needs the car....mmm...maybe a need to get rid of it soon then, So, if it all looks good, he's asking £5200 - what should I start at ?? £4800? On the basis, a service is due I reckon - 36k is next service, tyres might be due, discs & pads might need doing - current mileage is 29k.
