  1. Does anybody else know if the Nismo knob comes with the finisher underneath - I've read the ESR didn't have them incl. in their last batch?

  3. Just been quoted £417 from Nissan in Chester, and they'll do 0% interest free over 12 months. The guy said this also includes breakdown cover & MOT protection. Sounds good to me - I'll haggle him down though.
  4. Q for those that have done this - does it make a big difference? And, do you get flashed from oncoming drivers yeah I know what your thinking...!
  5. Is this a NON bose unit - your pic in ebay doesn't have Bose printed on the tape section? Just curious that's all!

  7. I have this problem as well! And quiet random as well, depends on where I fill up. Maybe it's to due with the difficult to fill problem. Sometimes I can get it to fill to the MAX, but more often 3/4's is where the needle ends. I was going to speak to Nissan about it but thought it would be difficult to prove (i.e. by having to take them to the petrol station with me!) DTE when full says - 340 - anybody else get more on the DTE when full?

    Clio Sunroof

I took the lining off to fix the ratling sunroof in my gf clio, it's quiet easy, you have to pull the rubber lining off the sunroof, remove the sunvisors with the scews (be careful not to damage the clips), and use a bit of brute force to pull the lining away. Remember, these things went in the first place so they must be designed to be removed as well Clio's, sunroofs, leaking, creaking! - pain in the backside - thus, the reason when my gf replaced her clio for a clio iii, she said NO sunroof. Good luck.
  9. Sorry, didn't say that I didn't recall getting a keycode. Anybody know what this is?
  10. Come to think of it my rear struts are starting to give a bit. I'll ring Nissan direct and get a price off them - cheers CS.
  11. My warranty is due the end of this month, been requoted £470 for everything mechanical, excl. wear & tear with warranty direct. My dilemma is, nothing's gone wrong in the last 12 months so do I not bother and pocket the money or sods law something does go wrong and I need the warranty. So guys, would you buy warranty or keep the money, what's the worst that can happen?
  12. If I recall, you should get 3 keys, 2 the same (remote) and a spare for giving to garages for servicing. (I think). Enjoy........it's coming soon!
  13. I see all the high milers are coming out of the woodwork now Look what you've done!
  14. Best colour! Welcome to the club! Just wait for the sun to come out! Great price I aint gonna print how much I paid for mine in Aug 07, but hey that's life! Back end twitches only tend to happen if you floor it on a roundabout but you'll get used to it - it's all part of the fun! My only advice on your purchase, and I think it's too late - check discs - usually go around this sort of mileage, you'll be forking out £800+ for a full set.
  15. Think I might take mine to TDI in Warrington next time, car would have done 68k by then! And I think it's going to stay with me a for a while so a decent full service is in order. Plus I'm sick of Nissan doing average services - oil change and that's it. Is there a thread with all the independant garages listed in one neat place? Anybody fancy starting a new thread with the list? I think it'll be useful - especially as more of us were swaying towards ESR, there must be other good independants out there?
  16. Since having my Zed I've run on RE040's when new, then changed to MPS and in December decided on Falkens as I wanted a change and heard good things about them. IMO they are loads better than the both RE040 (obviously) and MPS in the wet, haven't had chance to compare in dry as I had the MPS on in the summer. BUT..I did notice the MPS kicked out a bit when accelerating off roundabouts when wet. The Falkens seem so much more planted and I have loads more confidence in the wet without thinking is the back going to kick out again...And the Falkens are WAY WAY cheaper.

  19. OK, so back on topic - prices please? I'm interested after Xmas....where are you based as well?
  20. OK granted I didn't realise the price of the car and it's valuation...but you've still got to fork out over £1k to get the parts done. I'd phone him up tomorow and offer him £8300 tell him it's January sales...that'll make him erupt
  21. Nice find, but always dubious with free s/w off the net, usually full of spyware...
  22. Looks like he's doing a number two....
