  1. So Midday at The Grosvernor in Pulford on Satuday 21st it is then. See you all next week Hopefully have my spacers on by then and if it's sunny Megiars tech wax, this zed polishing mallarky is starting to become a bit obsessive!
  2. L&G Manchester - P3 £180 supplied my own oil, no air filter as I have k&n) V.Good
  3. Yup true to their word P3 supplied my own Morrisons £15.95 5w30oil (they said it would be find as it's fully synthetic !!!) £180 for a P3 not bad eh. 'Tis a very quiet garage there though - have they lost a franchise or something? Two small points:- 1) Why do they insist on charging for screenwash (Nissan Chorley have done this as well - £1.80 to top up, I purposely topped up the screenwash yesterday..... ) I would like to think it's just a standard printout summarising the P3 service and which case I let them off, call me petty but it just winds me up. 2) I forgot to tell them not to wash the car and they washed it so I had lovely watermarks on the car when I collected it. Oh well, live and learn again.....
  4. Ah ok then, I did wonder! So your's are still cheaper then
  5. Demon Tweaks do these for £81 a pair I think ! Not flaming the OP but just found these and DT are local to me. I guess they are a great buy. http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/products/ ... 4&x=42&y=5 Do the 20mm spacers give the flush fitting with the wheel arch? I notice DT do 30mm spacers for £86 a pair as well

    Polished plenum

Does the guy know how to torque up the bolts back on correctly? Not that I'm doubting him, but if he knows his stuff then might be worth a call.

    My confusion

CAI = easy to fit, you can do it yourself. Plenum = Be careful, you need to have a torque wrench as the bolts need to be torqued up correctly. There's a video on you tube, I watched the guy do it and thought, nah not doing that myself!
  8. Looking good fella Out of interest how much are spacers on their own and who supplies them?
  9. What makes this oil so special? Is it much better than Millers 5w30 I need to know asap as my p3 is due this week and it might sway my appointment date if I buy your oil. How much is carriage by the way? And how much does this RRP at normally?
  10. 350z P3 service price at L&G in Manchester (thanks to Mike for the recommendation):- Original price - £265 Price after discount - £225 (getting better!) They use Millers 5w 30 Oil (or knock off £35 off the price to supply your own) This includes the usual P3 service e.g. Brake Fluid replacement, LSD diff oil replacement. If you have a cai then knock off £10 for an air filter (seems too cheap though) So I'm paying £180 for my P3 - pretty good eh? Now then, I have one question - I've bought 2 x 5l of Texaco Havoline 5w30 for £32, I know some will say use the best £££ oil, but I do a lot of miles and need to keep my costs down. Any problems with me using the Texaco oil? I'm assuming not as it's the same 5w30 as the Millers. What's so special about Millers anyway? Booked in later this week, should be a good service I think!
  11. Lotuscc - is 100% correct, bought 2 5 litres of the stuff today for £32, call me a cheap skate but who cares it will do the job. I think this is a massive saving - nice one Lotuscc
  12. 13 mpg, what's the crusing mpg then? Nice car, I like the sprint blue S5 (same colour as the RS4)
  13. Out of interest how is Martin +2? Are you bringing a prisoner in the boot (quote from my other thread) And where is Stan with the cakes ? Oh, and I have word that we can give it some beans from a trustfull source
  14. Morrisons tomorrow then to find out, if so I'll buy 2 - one for the service one for top up
  15. Is this for real? If this is your car please let us know what mods you've had done, personally I can't see how it's 350bhp from the cai & zorst. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... Track=true
  16. Thanks for the visit Mike Don't think I'll bother going now - you've done all the leg work Still doesn't float my boat enough, not enough of a bigger change from the 350z IMO. The engine layout looks practically the same as the 350z revup, interior plastics looks very similar take the gear knob for example, the seats look identical. Defo agree on the 18's they look tiny. And I guess the rear wiper is missing because it's P1? But...I guess it's how it drives at the end of the day.
  17. Sorry to partially steal the thread but I've just checked Halfords prices on oil vs Costco and Makro and 5l of similar oil is £47.99, same as Amsoil prices, I think I'll stick to the oil from costco, still saved me around £30 for 5l !
  18. Notice any improvements using that Amsoil / Opeoils Dave? It's more expensive than the others but cheap at the end of the day (if it's really worth it). I can buy Castrol 5w 30 5l for £20 from Costco, will that be as good?

    Another oil question

Cheers Mike - thanks for the links. Think I'll drop the 0w40 then and go for the 5w30
