  1. No credit crunch for you then bud
  2. I leave my aircon on all the time - if I switch it off it gets all hot and misty inside No smells from mine to date. Oh, and the aircon system in the zed doesn't have a filter. So I would say the Comma aircon cleaners are a waste of time in the 350z as they only tend to clean the filters. Personally, I would switch it on and leave it on and see if it goes before regassing.
  3. That was my thread linky Sprevett go to L&G in Manchester - you cannot fault them at that price Some things are optional though guys:- e.g. coolant replacement - they can test the coolant for strength - might save you a few quid. Plugs - on the first P3 as well.
  4. It was me that paid £180 for my p3 last week, supplied my own oil - no air filter as I have cai. Does your price incl. plugs? If I recall, the first P3 has plugs as well. My P3 was the second - 72000 miler
  5. Just curious here as my other thread says 25mm at the back is acceptable? http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=20570
  6. Not wishing to steal Mike's thread but I heard the horshoe pass was closed for most of yesterday from my old folks. I understand why now:- http://www.dailypost.co.uk/news/north-wales-news/2009/03/16/bikers-in-north-wales-crashes-55578-23151416/ Let's remember what those roads are like if we venture that way guys!
  7. I had my clicky driveshafts replaced out of warranty and Nissan paid a 50% contribution. I'd stick to the main dealers as they are competitive and you can shout at them if they do it wrong!

    dumb question

And why is servicing high - my P1 = £120, P3 = £180 Granted fuel, can be expensive but it's all relative....
  9. The seller on ebay is a little confusing with the tyres! He says comes with Falken's but further down says Dunlops Just make sure you get what you ask for! Nice rims btw, not sure how 20"'s will cope on our roads though....
  10. If it's a permanent style sticker then a flat blade and blow a very hot hairdryer and peel away - then maybe use some bug & tar remover to remove the crap underneath But be careful not to scratch the paintwork you'll cry for a month.... Let us know if you find any other toys! Have you checked under the lining in the glovebox - there is a secret compartment - maybe there's a mont blanc in their
  11. They might get a group buy at this rate
  12. And why should you have 20mm all round? The rear tyres are wider so alignment shouldn't be affected?
  13. Will this kit remove the notchyness when changing gears? I'm still on my original clutch at 69k - what's the average life for oem clutches?
  14. Congrats! Can I ask, you said you didn't look under the bonnet when you bought the car? Do you think this was wise ?
  15. Thanks for the advice guys! Don't get me started on brake pads !!! I've had 3 lots of pads on these discs:- 1) Endless sss pads for 28k - they caused stripes on a couple of the grooved discs and caused rusting - looked terrible. 2) Endless CCX pads for 2k - terrible pads imo, terrible brake pedal vibration when braking hard from 70 mph (being modest ) - tried bedding them in but wouldn't have it - Spoke to Phil ESR who sent me a set of oem's FOC God bless him. 3) Now running OEM's for 9k so far without any problems. I wont be using Endless pads ever again- just a bad expensive experience if you ask me. The discs have been pretty good though - especially to see over 40k !
  16. Garage advised discs have a lip formed (which I knew about), it's only very slight and the garage said they should see the pads out. Trouble is the discs (DBA's) have been on the car for 38k so far, I replaced the pads 9k ago with Ferodo's from ESR. My question therefore is, how do you know when the discs need replacing - is it a case of measuring how thick the lip is? I cannot imagine these discs seeing out the pads as I reckon there's a good 21k on the pads left. As always any advice appreciated.
  17. Mine are due soon Mike, would be good to hear feedback about the setup once they've bedded in. Can I ask, how much were they & what pads did you go for?
  18. Not to me Sarnie! But I bet those who bought one last year are p'd off, 7k off original price plus depreciation on top of that
  19. Accept no immitations this is the real deal
  20. Passed the Nissan dealership in Chester today, they had a brand new 09 roadster priced up for £22995
  21. Quality job well done to you fela Out of interest, what tips can you give for cleaning brake dust from alloys?

I'm running a K&N typhoon and it is a lovely bit of kit, the extra noise it pumps out is fantastic. Can't vouch for others as I haven't tried them. Might be putting up a wanted ad as there's usually a few going second hand. I think the typhoon retails at around £250 for the full kit (incl. scoop for intake) , I paid £160 s/hand - hope this gives you a guide.
  23. Great stuff isn't it! Soooo easy to remove, smells fantastic as well. But the big question is, how long can you leave it on before you have to spit & polish I've left mine for 1 hour then removed, anybody else left it longer. I can garage the car with the wax on, so can it be left on overnight? Plus, is there any point leaving it on longer, say 1/2 hour vs 1 hour before removal - any real benefits? I cannot recommend this stuff enough, best ever and no crappy powdery residue
  24. Nothing like stealing a thread....why don't you start talking about lowering while your at it But thanks for the advice to others
  25. For those that have 20mm upfront & 25mm at the rear have you noticed any handling issues. I'm just worried that the rears are protruding out slightly more and concerned that the track will be upset? Did you have to get the car realigned afterwards?
