  1. Looks lovely. They're a bit of a pain to detail too with the wheels and the pipes. Last one I did was about 4 years ago, ruby red with the normal white stripes.
  2. Certainly lots changing over to a 370 at the moment. Very nice!
  3. Just imagine when he's been to NZ and back!
  4. Great that things are back to nearer to normal Stan. Must be a big relief.
  5. The latest installment of what's happening down here in NZ. Went to Targa Bambina on Saturday. Targa Rally is a big event in terms of the numbers of competitors at the main event in October, usually about 250 cars. Targa Bambina had about 130 cars competing. So still a reasonable sized event, with full road closures for the event. We went to watch two stages. Stage 4 corner at Ostrich Farm Road was busy, in terms of the number of Z Club people that were spectating, probably making up about 1/4 of the number of people at that corner. Thanks to a very chatty farmer and his family that came out to watch the event, pity we didn't get an invite to the champagne breakfast though. As soon as the road was opened we had to head that way anyway to the next stage, so we drove stage 4. Driven many times for rallies, but often at night time. Drift car display that came though before the Targa Tour cars: These Zeds are too slick and too quick to get a lock on a camera, slightly out of focus: Stillen GT40, with Steve and Jodi: A few from stage 5, Monument Road, we didn't see any Zeds: GT40 again: Dodson R35: Zappy vinyl job on the BMW: Waiting, waiting: In theme for St Patrick's day, partially:
  6. Welcome to the forum. Perhaps a tiptronic would be a good idea for her. So she can chose if she wants to drive in auto or manual (without having to deal with the clutch as it sounds like that's an issue).
  7. Nice find. Guess he spends all his time working on his car, and not had enough time out driving his, all the better for you.
  8. Welcome, get yourself and your 370 along to a meet soon.
  9. Get out there and have some fun in the Z before selling.
  10. Welcome, pop a post in the Welcome's.
  11. Definitely acknowledge other drivers, then eventually they'll wonder why it keeps happening, and will maybe log on here.

Lol, was chosing my words very carefully, so I didn't get one of these.......... or these and so I didn't have to........
  13. Very nice Z32 Sam Mcgoo. Was that in the revived stock Pearl Yellow? Looks quite bright, but then most peal yellow ones you see around are faded to anything still on the original paint.

    Poor poor 260z

The bonnet looks to be a modified stock one. 280Z (with turbo) came with the vented bonnets.
  15. Welcome to the forum, great that you're open to colour, as ultimately with a pre-loved car, all important is what the body work and mechanicals are like. Clever man.
  16. Lol, no he won't. You can see exactly what you're doing too. It does take a bit more time, but less risk for a newbie to detailing too.

    AGE

Same with all performance cars. We have both under and older members of all of our models of Zeds over this end of the pond. Also have friends in other high end club, same mixed ages. Similar to a group of R35'ers I know, some younger, some a bit more worldly.
  18. Why don't you knit a jersey.
  19. It looks like it might have the race car type conversion in terms of looks but without the extra horses. Why doesn't it list the mileage?
  20. Welcome, must be glut on the market of TT's this week. Quite a few of you buying Z's.
  21. Newbie rules, must post pics of said new toy.
  22. Welcome to the forum. I did that first time a I drove a 370 went to fill up, expecting it to be the same button inside the car, very quickly figured out slightly different, figured it out.
