  1. I think it might be inbuilt.
  2. Doesn't he just!! At least it will be all nice and ready to go when you are allowed to drive it. Those wheels came up really nicely.
  3. You should definitely go to Wales Builder, especially when you see all the brilliant pics and read about all the fun they had. Check out the regional meets section too, bound to be something in your locality.
  4. Well, over this end of the ocean, only a very small handful of female Zed owners, and that's any type of Zed 240-370. Maybe less so with the 370 as the steering is lighter than all previous models. Oh, I like that Vik!
  5. Given the number on the road, and America being a massive market........... 280z on Bruce Almight, movie on tv, the other night.
  6. Last year driving to one of our track days, bird came flying towards me, luckily it hit the number plate and went straight underneath and out the back. One of the other Zedders got it on video apparently. Left a few feathers and blood stuck to the number plate. Thank goodness for the number plate!!! Frequenlty when we do rallies, Hawks or large pheasants will be hanging out on the road, not a good place to be as I round a corner. At least you're ok, even if the windscreen isn't.
  7. Nicely squeezed in. Would have another towel wrapped around the chain and the end of the frame. Knowing how soft the interior plastics are.
  8. They do look good in blue! Enjoy!
  9. I think from what I've seen, some are a bit vertically challenged, but even so, still much too close to the steering wheels and dashboard.
  10. Oh, a whole............... week! Will seem such a long time. Enjoy the drive home.
  11. Welcome back and happy Z hunting. Keep an eye on the For Sales on here, something is bound to come up.
  12. So you've only had the car a month. Have you been to any meets yet, have you taken it along any fun roads in the weekend? Break out of the square and go for a good drive on a few twisty roads, throw the car around, go to a track day or two. Then come back and tell us what you think. If you still don't think it's suitable, sell it, if you think that's the right thing for you. As the others have said, it's more about how you get there. Even normal every day roads can be fun, depending on the lines and braking points, without driving like a nutter.
  13. Now, that's one gad about. Does this mean that the car was built to last, but the hubbies weren't?! Surprising that it's only had 18 battery changes. Indeed, if those figures are to be believed he's done 1 million miles in the last 8 years, that's an average of almost 350 miles a day Now that is serious mileage to be doing in something other than a truck or like. Imagine how much that would cost him in petrol.......
  14. It's a fairly mean looking machine, especially when you ad into the equation those specs. But will probably still handle like a small boat. Nice interior, but doesn't look as modern as most of the cars coming out now.
  15. Congratulations!!! On home and pending nuptials.
