  1. Neo, perhaps try some leather conditioner, Meguiar's (or the like) may help soften the leather and slow the leather from cracking or wearing any further. I actually think it's more about driving style rather than wearing rings damaging the leather. I wear massive chunky rings and for the almost 57k's my Z has driven there is very little wear on the leather. Have you got any photos of the wear? Might be able to give you a few tips, if I can see the damage.
  2. Hi marzman, congratZ. Are you sure the fogging as you call it is on the interior of the headlights??? 350's are quite infamous for the exterior hazzing of the plastic headlights. If it is the exterior, a bit of Meguiars (or similar) Plastix will do the trick, but you have to keep doing it, to keep the hazzing under control.
  3. Ahh right, Sorry Bronzee. No probs dude. Hehe, yeah that would be right. Only driven in the UK a few times.
  4. Welcome Sharpe. How long have you had your GT for?
  5. Welcome jdbecks. Hmm, well in my book, front wheel drive v rear (real) wheel drive, no competition. Plenty of torque, they sit on the road and handle well & have to agree with Digsy, the heated seats in the cooler months, well they totally rock. Go for a few test drives.
  6. From someone who's lived in London in the past and spent a lot of time back and forth, and spent a lot of time in other countries, seriously your public transport in the UK is far better than small countries like NZ. At least you have a large population to sustain the infrastructure to have a half way decent train and tube system. We only have buses, ferries & 2 rail tracks in Auckland, the biggest city in NZ. Literally a total joke. Our motorways and main arteries are clogged, rather like a serious heart attack victim in the wait. Our main harbour crossing, the Auckland Harbour Bridge between North and the rest of Auckland, they have finally announced (we were waiting for it) is carrying far more traffic than it can cope with, and waiting for a catastrophic failure. I do hear you though Nixy. Many a time been caught on the tube, in the dark, waiting until something is fixed. On the upside, at least you made it there and back. Lovely places south like the IOW and Wilts, gorgeous, but sometimes, the big smoke calls.
  7. Still an extremely nice kit, widebody or not!!!
  8. Now, I've stopped drooling, gee there were some stunning Zeds!!! The detail, and wow, never seen photos with so many white Zeds blocked together.
  9. Welcome and congratZ. What year is your 350?
  10. He could possibly need spark plugs. With the aforementioned starting hesitation problem in the first post, I've had this problem with my Z irrespective of air temperature. Summer, when it's like 30 or so degrees and in Winter, when it's cold.
  11. Lol, can't help you too much with that, I'm in NZ.
  12. My goodness, the colourism going on around here.
  13. Here's a thought, depending on how much the counterweight weighs, you'd be taking weight off the back wheels. Only a delicate change, but might be enough to change the balance. You with me?
  14. Hi Sungod, it's a pretty common 350 problem. I've had my '04 since brand new, and it did in on day 3, before the aftermarket alarm went in, still does it. Have a nosey around on http://www.my350z.com you'll find heaps of results. Sorry I don't have time to find the appropiate links now.
  15. I'm on my 2nd set of F1's on my 350. Find them really good in the wet, even in our heavy Winter downpours. My 350 hasn't been anywhere near the mountain snow yet, but the F1's seem to cope fine in hail, but that isn't snow.
  16. Welcome & congratZ Pete!! What only "months"??! How many miles has your AZure done thus far?? Mike obviously forgot about the yellow. And the rest, but seriously, they're all gorgeous colours.
  17. I know this sounds odd, but is it kind of a nasal kind of buzz/vibration noise, high pitched but not shrill, quite loud??? And doesn't drop off until you are over 2000rpm, but only occurs around 2000rpm, sounds like it's coming from the exhaust?? I don't mean the tips either, nearer to the gearbox.

    UNDERCAR NEONS

That was question I was going to ask about the legalities of it. Seems to be similar across the water too.
  19. I had something similar with my 350 a while back. Always around 2000rpm, high pitched vibrating annoying noise, thought it was a heat shield just moved slightly, turned out to be correct. If it is, certainly not a major. Let us know how you get on.
  20. Welcome Doc, and that's a sad Z story. They do if you bring one in from Japan.
  21. Welcome. Have you taken both for a good long test drive yet? Stuff what the dealer says, drive, you're the one parting with hard earned cash. Are you intending on racing this car at a track???
  22. Wow Limiter, she's an absolute stunner!!! Gorgeous!!!! Now be good, and pop your Zed on a boat to NZ for me.
  23. I don't know anyone concerned. In my post as a Mod & Admin on a few forums, I know there are occasionally small speed bumps. The automotive industry is a small one, irrespective of where you are. Best not to bear anyone any malice, and proceed to be the crazy, cool bunch of Zed nutters you normally are here and thank the chap for the help & knowledge he provided whilst he was a member of the community. Everyone plays there part, irrespective of what that maybe & communities evolve & change over time .
