  1. Welcome Sean. Now you've got a mighty fine motor there already in the R33, they certainly do go. As the other guys have said, take one or a few for a whirl and then see what you think. If it were me, I think I'd look at keeping the R33 and getting the Z as well if that's viable. They're both quite different beasts. The R33's are pretty sort after.
  2. Aaaw, but she looks so nice and shiny though letank87. She might have needed a birthday.
  3. I'm not disagreeing with you at all, just a comment though, the bolsters on the 350 are reasonably big for a stock car, so have to expect some wear. Not seen inside a 206 to comment in comparison. Flirt still not picys?
  4. I know where that is coming from, it's the trim strip that fits the A pillar against the windscreen, try pushing some card temporarily in the gap, and see if that sorts it I had that steering wheel noise with my Z too, extremely irritating. Dealer ended up sorting, not quite sure what they did though, but they couldn't fix the first time I do know that. With the windscreen, there is like a fuzzy felt kind of fabric between A pillar and dash/screen. You could try something like that. When I got my Zed it came with the fuzzy felt stuff sticking out so was gently squeezed back into place. It might be possible the fuzzy felt stuff on your Z has dropped a bit, hence the pressure plastic on plastic stressing noise.
  5. Mttreacy all being well the Dark should age ok, if the old Z32 dark blue is anything to go by. Gorgeous. Hehe Mttreacy watch out for these guys, they've got this obsessive stubbie aerial fetish you hear about. I hear it's incurable too.
  6. Welcome and congratZ. What shade of blue dream is she?? The bright blue or the new dark blue? I give up with the names of the colours in the UK.
  7. Well Holden Aussie and in NZ have a good reputation of standing behind their cars. There's a lot of them on the road here too. I know they do recalls when required, they will drop the offending component out completely and replace, it's happened with a few of my mates Holdens & HSV's. Pretty good after sales service. Not such a major if a problem part is replaced without unnecessary fuss. I'm sure all will be fine.

    Clean Car = rain?

Ohhh, but then there's those sick beads of water on a freshly waxed car. Eeek, back ZGA (Zed Groomers Anonymous) for me. Hehe, it's Spring time here. Then Summer will often be out there at 6am.
  9. Welcome to your Z dosage of insanity Carleton.
  10. Us sped freaks, lol, we are enthusiasts who have an appreciation for a car that has the potential to go fast. Welcome. Step away from the sugary lollies Zedrush.
  11. Hi Dan, good to see you found your way over from my350z. Seemed even more fitting you being registered on the UK forum. Welcome.
  12. A noisy fuel pump is nothing to worry about unless it starts give spasmodic or unusual readings on your gauges continually. Been there done that with my darling lil 350 last year.

    Clean Car = rain?

Drives you start raving nuts. Washed the car about 6.30am this morning, then proceeded to clay bar, rinse off again, dried, then went to start waxing the beasty and the little blobs of precipitation started, grrrr, stupid Spring time, anyway almost completed the waxing, so frustrating though, couldn't get everything done only 4 hours, not enough. All day job to do everything, including interior. Just as well it's not show season yet. Phew.
  14. Hehe, just means that Sunset & other bright colour 350 owners get to lead convoys, coz we're easy to spot in a crowd. One of my mates has a new Amuse kit on his white 350, looks stunning, but would I drive it, probably not, apart from the fact it's a go car, with lots and lots of mods. It definitely is personal choice.
  15. Loving the 3rd shot Satsuma. Stunning reflections. Planning on doing a full Zed pampering session tomorrow, that wipes out a whole day. If weather holds will post up some picys. Meguiar's NXT is one of my favourite ranges, and another American brand called Turbo Wax.
  16. Oooh I, Sunset owner, welcome Ian from another LMS owner.
  17. Remember the feeling well, the last 2 cars have been purchased on a business day, during the day, the pain of waiting until the end of the working day, now that was something all together again. Any gas left marzman???
  18. Quite interesting some of the cars they use in different countries. It would certainly have a few idiots running. At one stage we had 6 x 200sx-Spec R Nissans roaming around, a few caught out thought they were having a race, uumm, eer, busted. They didn't last too long as the turbos were costing a bit to upkeep. Eeek. We have quite a number of plain clothes cars often Holden Commodores, plus the odd others. What sort of cars are they using in the UK these days in general???
  19. And can you imagine how many coppers put their paws up to volunteer for the horrible job of driving the Exige as well.
  20. R8's only recently came out in NZ, so still very few around, and at a tidy 260k or 276k (NZ $) respectively, not something you'd have 10 of. I saw one on the motorway a few weeks back, putting along at 70kms in a 100km zone. Silver and it was gleaming in the sunshine, looks pretty good to me, but then, no good looking good if it doesn't go the same.
  21. Just as an incidental point of interest, one of my friends has a 350 that was purchased brand new and purpose built race car, his is supercharged. Now having covered about 20k, is having a few problems with the bearings inside the Stillen supercharger. They are still working on sorting it out, kind of interesting as he's left for a rally this week yesterday. Will keep you posted if it's of interest. Bear in mind the car I'm talking about is a race car, it's driven very hard and very fast constantly. One main thing, don't scrimp when doing FI, because it will only bite you in the bottom. Spend the dosh, for the reliability.
  22. Did you check your owners manual Kenny? I'm sure there is something in the manual that refers to this. I'm on my 3rd Bose now, first one was skipping like crazy, 2nd one didn't work, and this skips too, so understand, next stop, aftermarket.
